I think the main issue is that he is too depressed and is so far gone that he doesn't care enough to put in the effort to change clothes. He probably has deep unworthiness and severe shame and has lost all desire to better himself or simply to live. It's almost as though he's waiting for the moment it's all over. His response about the infection was strange too "no sense talking about it now" when it actually does make sense because he asked him when it happened to get an idea of how bad it is. Just what I inferred

@@TimothyWJohnson-m1x He should have done that a while ago. But I can understand him. When he first helped Tanya she really gave the impression that she could change. Can't forget her smile when he gave her a complete transformation. Sadly, she's just a junky who banks on this.
As a former heroin addict, I can only advise him to drop it. I was no different and took advantage of everyone who meant well and wanted to help. I hurt and took advantage of good people who only wanted to do good even my own family. But one day the good people were over and I ended up at the bottom. In the sewers, figuratively speaking. That was the point where I started to think that things couldn't go on like this. I had no one who wanted to help me anymore, everyone dropped me back then and rightly so. The person has to take the first step themselves and then you can help Tanya. I can only say from my own experience that only a few will learn and change. Personally, I doubt she will ever learn....

I saw a situation like this in India and what they did was they just cut his clothes off right where he was in the street and shaved his head and poured water on him to get him clean then put new clothes on him and took him to the hospital. He wasn’t willing to get up because he had an infection on his foot even they offered to carry him and he would not get up so they began to just do what they had to do right there and then and I thought that was a good idea. Maybe you can convince him that you could just shave his head and clean him and take his clothes right thereat his house. I don’t know. It’s just a suggestion.

@@cincoy3679That is a blanket judgment. There are places that are equipped to help family members that are excellent. There are also terrible ones. “Putting them away” assumes the family members will ignore or dump them off. That is the family’s choice. In the case of this man, who is living completely alone with no care and in dire need, a care facility would be of great benefit. Also is beneficial, longterm care facilities that are truly caring, and families who encircle their loved one and participate in the care. It happens. 💝

Sergei, I think Lesha has a major depression condition. I suffer clinical depression, and some days I just don't want to go out or do anything. I am on an anti depressant, and it helps, but nothing helps to make me feel "normal." If you could get him to a Dr. and put him on meds, it would improve his mind and he may be able to help himself. Poor man, he seems hopeless, and I think he knows he is suffering, but is either too proud to accept help, or feels it won't help. Please do all you can to get him to a Dr. And, Sergei, Tanya is a lost cause, she will only drink up any help you give her. Sorry, but I feel she doesn't want to give up drinking. Thank you for helping some, and trying to help others. Sergei, you are an angel. Stay safe.

Lesha needs all that nasty filthy matted hair shaved off, needs regular bathing, won't care for himself, likely needs cleaned up against his will, but he might like how much better he feels after hair shaved, bathing regularly and wearing clean clothes. I hope he might then be cooperative to accept regular bathing, shampooing, haircuts, clothes washing, etcetera. Hand needs medical care. Meanwhile, those alcoholic twins Natasha and Tanya have no excuse for their behavior. They are purposeful alcoholics, they drink by choice. At least in this video they are in separate apartments. Together they are much worse than either alone. They always have spongers hanging out in their apartments. They don't even try to stay sober. With less funding they might drink less. They should NOT be kept together anywhere.

Why do so many women believe they have to have a man in their life? If you are sober and want a male companion that is different. If you can’t think straight and feel the need to bring in people to leach off of you that is beyond sad.

He lives in a mobile home all torn up with no windows and outside walls missing because he tears it up. the yard looks like Lesha's. The police arrested him and he tried to take the gun from the policeman. After spending 3 months in jail he was released. He is up all night hollering and cursing walking down the street swinging a machete. He needs to be in a mental institution because he will not take his medications. Hello from Estonia, Vasya! I can completely understand how someone could end up like this...I've also worked with computers for most of my life and even now when I have a wife and a kid, I am struggling very hard from lifelong depression. Often it feels like impossible task to even go take a shower or get haircut...and there is nothing rational behind it. Severe depression just makes you give up on life even though from the outside the life looks great, but if your brain circuits are not firing correctly you will get worse and worse to the point where you end up like him...
    It's very sad to see.

I wonder if there would be enough Good Samaritans in the village willing to help lesha for a day to improve things a bit.. if a group of villagers turned up on a day to clean out his house of rubbish and disinfect and clean the rooms he may well feel enlightened enough to get a warm shower or bath and haircut and don some good hard wearing cloths and boots.. you do see instances of mega hoarders who end up living surrounded by garbage and filth to the point that cleaning up becomes such a mammoth task it becomes beyond them and that makes their situation spiral out of control.
If well wishers or locals with good intentions ( or worse case paid extreme cleaning company) could come with a skip and clean and clear out the house I’m sure he would feel a lot better for it and boost his esteem and lift his spirit and help his depressive state.

Just for my own peace of mind?” If you present it as letting him help you for *your* sake, maybe he might see himself as helping *you* and that might make him more open to it?

We have many similar situations in the US. The laws work against getting help for
    people in these situations.
Some states in the US have a statute commonly known as the Baker Act.
A person can be arrested and be taken into hospital custody and treated/observed for 72
hours if family/neighbors deem them a danger to themselves or others.
Rarely is this enough in cases of addiction.

Without knowledge of his specific mental illness, I sure can't comment. I wish it were as simple as getting them out of the premises long enough to deep clean and make safe... then bring him home. I suspect that would be a trigger that would blow up.
As for the sisters, what strikes me is how much thought, money and effort has been spent on them. What hurts more is a sense Tanya's young husband was "spent". Wasted on efforts to provide a good life for her, only to end up dead. Somehow caught up in something because of the sort of lifestyle she's lead. Harsh but a sense of truth because he appeared to absolutely know right from wrong and worked hard to make good use of the help he was given. I absolutely hate thinking people are "right offs" but these women seem to be hell bent on self destruction, no matter of any help they get
Best of luck, sincerely, helping this complex old man.
