I could tell from the first video that granny Lida is set in her ways. I never got the impression that Anna wasn't working hard or taking advantage. It's pretty clear that granny just has things the way she wants them. Anna's just doing the best she can for her while also having many other responsibilities herself.

Even the way the doctor and other man spoke to her and her mother were accusatory. Why not play this video first to show what was really going on? Now I don’t trust this channel. I thought they were doing good but now to me it seems they are not, just like many other YT channels. Only for the 💰.
It can be easy as viewers for us to judge people we see in these videos, but almost everyone is struggling in some way and deserves our grace and compassion

This old grandma has passed away long time ago. She succumbed to her infections.

We should never judge one another. We do not see the whole picture. Anja tries her best with what she has.
Very good follow up to put things in perspective! Anja helps everyone, she puts her own dream aside, and her mum guilts and uses her. Grandma seems to be the only one that actually appreciates her, gives her things, and doesn't expect anything! The mother needs to see how gran lives before complaining and only talking about herself ever again!

Anja's mother is evil through and through , she should be put in prison for fraud . Compare her bedroom and bathroom to Babushka's and yet it's her apartment , her safe warm home and she's living like an animal and she's in pain .

I'm not sure how I feel about the mother taking all those loans not understanding the costs of the project, then having her daughter do all the work since she cannot pay someone to handle it. I love that the daughter does it with no complaints, but she shouldn't have to give up her whole life because the mom made horrible business decisions. :/

wow, seing Annas side of the story really changes things. i was feeling that she didnt do enough after watching the last video but i see now that she is also suffering and trying her best.
This is so sad. This was pure neglect. And Anna was being blamed but I would say she MUST do as her mother tells her and she seemed so sad and frightened when she realised how grandmother was so sick. The one time the mother could have redeemed herself was when you spoke about the money. If she had said please give to another family to help with their grandmother I would not feel so bad towards her. There was no thought of anyone else. She wanted the money and the little house. I know parents want what is best for their children but NOT at the expense of the lives of others. I think you did so well when trying to get grandmother help, and I could see the anger and sadness both you and the doctor were feeling. May grandmother rest in peace.
When you think your life is bad there's always someone else much worse off.

Ah, now some of my questions have been answered. It seems like Anya’s heart was in the right place. But she was overwhelmed by the situation with her own family, livestock and home. She is not educated and may not have known about other resources to help Lida, if there are such resources. And like many elderly people who are I’ll, Lida was stubborn and was refusing to go to hospital. Then Anya;s mother tried to manipulate Anya and Lida to get money to make payments on her loan. Anya was caught in the middle. She had her first child at 17. She has never had the opportunity to make her own life decisions.
So sad for the old lady 😢 thanks Sergei for all you do👏

There's so many thing's going on, the grandma definitely needs medical treatment, her leg's are seriously bad.
Yes, could be several things: peripheral artery disease, diabetes, heart failure.
I was in almost the exact same situation with my mother. As she got older she would simply refuse to move. Even when it was injurious to herself. It was heartbreaking.

That girl is an angel with everything going on she's still takes care of everything and she's been taking care of that old lady since third grade she is amazing it's hard when you have family that are getting old

People who grew up in communism, such as that old babushka, they are not used to choices and help from strangers. So they will always refuse. They are only used to orders and suffering. So I'd say the best approach is instead of asking her is it ok to bring doctor just bring the doctor with you next time. Or would you like us to take you to hospital? I would just tell her we are going to the hospital and walk her out the door. She will go you'll see. You just have to order her to do it instead of asking her. Same with cleaning. Instead asking can we clean your house just come in with help and tell her we are here to clean your house and she let you. Just don't give up on her and thanks for helping her.

I just don't understand why would one have so many kids while having such financial problems in their life. It makes it only harder to get out of poverty, leaves even less time for yourself and it's not good for kids either to grow up in poverty. She's too young to ruin her life with so many burdens.

This is the classic example of 'lack of opportunity'. When governments get in the way and make it unattractive for business to flourish for whatever reason, regulation, taxes, corruption etc, businesses don't exist and people suffer. I stand by the fact that governments can be the most dangerous entity to the human race second to an asteroid.

There is room for that poor woman to come and stay in the better house, it might not be great but it's better than where she lives. They need to bring her into that house or they just want it to themselves. It just seems like there is something going on that we don't know, and that poor lady is living in conditions that she absolutely should not be in. Something shady indeed.

As far for the bed there are beds that can recline (go up and down). Lots of elderly people use them or immobile people. You should look into that because she can't be sleeping on pile of trash even if she says it's ok.
