That lady was the happiest woman in the world with your gifts, especially the bread maker! She was even excited about potatoes, lol. They need to be able to plant in their vegetable garden their own potatoes, so they always have them. Meat for Easter too, she was delighted with everything! You are so kind and thoughtful Sergei, you made all those people so happy with your visits and gifts!
If they know how....they can plant potatoes from store bought potatoes.
@@BCSTS If I forget about some potatoes in the press they go to seed, dangerous to eat but I am sure those seeds could be used to plant more potatoes..
They could even eat the potatoes and plant the peels as new potatoes grow just from the peels, I have seen this happen.

Rissia is so vast … it must be very difficult for the government to provide for all citizens … especially while CONSTANTLY under threat from the collective west. They do everything to keep Russia down and out … but in the end, only the ordinary and meek people suffer. 😢

Oh my goodness what kind sweet people! This breaks my heart as they shouldn't have to live that way. I know every country is different, but they should be helped! This one really warmed my heart. To be happy over potatoes! I hope you go back again and bring hem help. Maybe repair some things around there.

That was so wonderful. Some people think that they are poor here where I live, but they are so rich compared to these lovely people. I think I will quit complaining so much about my circumstances in life. These people live so poorly. Yet their souls are so rich. Thank you Sergei! Just for being who you are. My goodness… meat is one thing, it can be expensive, but potatoes? I can’t imagine. Both my parents are Polish, so I know how important potatoes are for Russians too. I think at the right time of year it would be wonderful if they could grow there own potatoes.
