Sadly she will never change. The fact she did this during her pregnancy, so sad. She needs help and the children should be watched or temporarily taken away. She has not hit bottom and the kids are paying the price.

This woman doesn't even admit drugs cost money, so she's in full denial, and people can manipulate her to permit USE of her kids via her addiction. Addict parents are fully capable of pimping their kids, boys and girls alike.
Kids like this grow up pretty savy and know the bad characters around them. I think most Russians don't mess with kids also. Their society is not as crazy or depraved as American society.

The problem then is.... to whom do the children go? Far too often those put in charge have no clue who they give away the children to, and TOO many children are in need, so they become overwhelmed in their job. Even here in Canada, you hear of Children's Aide agents having 40 kids or more to keep track of. Maybe you should go talk to those in Russia?
The mother matters too and she can be helped and she obviously loves them, the kids are better off with the mother or other family in all but the worst circumstances.

Everyone is commenting on the mother’s issues. At this point, the children definitely should not be in her care. I also worry about the mother’s male “friend.” He should not be in the house with those children EVER. How could she trust him alone with her little daughter. I’m a recovering addict. I got clean after 30 years of on and off use, mostly on. It took me leaving where I was to get clean. I’ve been clean almost 20 years now. It can be done.
The children are the first priority. The mother uses the children allowance to pay for her habits. The children should be put in safe care until the mother cleans up her act. Her past record does not bode well, making excuses for herself. Save the children

Feel very sorry for the kids and specially for the little girl that stays at home and being exposed for her mom’s relationship and on high risk of being sexually abused. I agree 100 percent. The kids are extremely vulnerable. Tragically, if the foster care system in Russia is like in the US, the likelihood of sexual abuse and/or teen pregnancy is high within the state care system. Either way the odds are against those poor innocent children. 😭

I agree with another post below, the children need to be removed and placed with loving people while the mum gets help. The children and pets need to be the first priority for help.
There are no loving people waiting for them. The children would be placed in an institution. Sergei has done videos on children being removed from the homes, the women continue to drink and have more children for the payments.

It is impossible to help anyone that is not willing to help themselves. But i guess at the very least some love is shown to the kids

Heartbreaking. So many wonderful kind people would love to have children and cannot for health reasons or infertility. This woman has been blessed with healthy children and doesn't care enough about them to stop drugs and alcohol.

So sad to see. I wish there was some kind of community where sober, kind people could be there for the kids and parents have access when they are not high. I think the children are in equal danger if the authorities take them away. They don’t all get nice foster care. Thank you for brightening their day with some toys.
I'm an adoptive mother to 14 kids, who are now all grown up. My Asian son had the bluish spots called Mongolian spots, which are found in children of Asian ancestry. I hope that you can help these little children grow up strong and righteous.
It's not just Asians. My daughter is Hispanic. She was born with them as well.

Those poor children deserve so much better. That is one sorry mother who will not give up drinking. They should go to orphanage or taken by relatives. She's dangerous to her kids by drinking and bringing men around these young girls. Sergei thank you for trying to help the kids.
Mother needs some tough love. They call it an intervention in the states. She must meet all the guidelines or lose her children.
I think she needs to be taught how to handle her feelinvs then she wouodnt need use drugs to run away from them.

Sergie please please get these children in to some kind of safe environment. The mother doesn't want help. She wants her drugs. Untill she wants help and wants to truly change her life for her family no one else can do that for her. But if it takes sending the children to some kind of orphange hopefully they can be loved warm fed and safe. I am so sad that there us so much despair in these peoples lives.

This is one hundred percent about the children, the mother does not want to change and its unsafe for the children. She is unfit to care for them and love them. She thinks by moving everything is suddenly going to be different, but she will take her drug habits with her and everything will be the same, I hope these children are removed from her home and put somewhere where they are safe and loved and well cared for, so they do not follow their mums ways, they are lovely children and just as you said their sparkle will fade in time if their situation doesnt change, Thank you for helping them........
The situation is very sad. Even though the mother says she loves her children, her love for drugs and alcohol is teaching them that they are not worthy of true love. Yes, this situation is very complicated and dangerous for the children. Especially for Sofia who may be alone at home, as she was the day that you visited, with that “other guy.” If the mother owes the grocery store 10,000 rubles, that means that she spent 10,000 of the money for her kids on drugs. The only help I see that you can provide is to stop by occasionally to see the children and bring them something to show them that someone DOES care about them. Maybe some new clothes, not just toys.

I think no one wants to enable her drug use either by taking all the responsibility of the children. She needs to be seen for what she is and the children probably taken from her.

Very difficult situation, I understand your dilemma regarding moving them and she continues to be addicted to the extent she cannot care for her children as they should be. At the end of the day the children come first, she's 38 and should know better and take responsibility. The children need better care of that there is no doubt. How that's achieved will depend on so many factors, what is available there to help?

Dear Sergei & Friends, Thank you for sharing this story. I understand wanting to help the children, the mother deserves ONE chance. She must get treatment for both drugs & alcohol. She should have to complete the program & submit to weekly drug tests to stay sober & take proper care of her children. If she cannot stay sober, the children would be far better with someone else who IS sober. Someone that CAN be trusted.
That’s just my opinion.
I don’t know what is assistance is available for the mother. I don’t know what’s available to help the children if the mother can’t stay sober & work.

You must get the kids taken care of. If she is doing drugs and the kids continue to see this then they will grow up to do this them self thinking that it is OK. You must break the chain and not let this continue. She hopefully will realize what she has done to her children and hopefully get the help she needs but we must always put the children first for they are the future!
