The shame he felt over his mother taking charity and running off was probably worse than the heartbreak of losing her again. Everything he said was an apology to Sergei on his mother’s behalf.
You can love someone who doesn’t love you back. Especially if it’s your mother. He will blame the alcoholic boyfriend forever, because blaming his mother is unbearable.

Children of alcoholics crave parental attention and respect for their needs growning up, so it will be great if Lesha can hold down the waiter's job, and receive the care of his supervisor and the camaraderie of new colleagues on the team. Making alcohol illegal only makes it worse. Making alcohol illegal only means that people drink it illegally and it actually drives people toward drinking, because now they want something they're not supposed to have. It also increases crime, as it meant BIG MONEY for the Mafia!! It also meant more people were making their own alcohol, and when they didn't know exactly what they were doing, they ended up poisoning themselves and others!!

Lesha doesn’t deserve to be treated this way! His Heart shouldn’t be trampled on. Especially by the One Person who is supposed to Love Him Unconditionally. I’m Praying Lesha gets some Peace , Love and Joy in His Life.

Seems the pull of alcohol is too strong for her. You can only help people who are willing to help theirselves. I hope Lesha stays where he is and carries on working but she'll probably use him too. It's bad enough that he's now contracted to pay off all the money owing to the shop. It should be made clear to the owner that he will not be held responsible for any other debts incurred by the family in the future.

She is not ashamed, she is annoyed that you interrupt her drinking. Alcoholics will gladly sacrifice their children for booze.

This story is so frustrating. My father was an alcoholic & destroyed our family! I wish Lesha’s story ended happily. At least your bringing awareness! Blessings to your channel 🙏
