I don’t see anything wrong with him. I think his family berates him and abused him mentally. He has low self esteem and is grateful for whatever you give him. He appreciates your friendship and kindness also. Don’t abandon him if he can’t make it on his own.

When taking on helping someone in that kind of disposition, help should not end with providing just the essentials and leaving them fend for himself. It requires mental/emotional support and must be part of helping, until one can feel confident the individual will make it on his/her own.

When he started talking about the robbery, Anton couldn't look at the camera. He could only stare at the floor, or look away. His whole body was saying how ashamed he was of himself, and how much he regretted his actions. Obviously, he'd rather freeze and starve before he will steal again.

@@garrysekelli6776 possibly, but they are more scared of us than we are of them. They are very intelligent creatures and surprisingly clean if they are allowed to be in good circumstances like us. I'm sure if they were starving they would do what any of us would do. Obviously he was not afraid of them. He took the time to get to know them. They were probably his only non-judgmental company. For all we know they kept each other warm. It can be bizarre the relationships that beings will create in order to help one another.

I think he was overwhelmed but we shall see if he continues forward in life or just ends up back at the start.
When I was down, if someone helped me like this, I never trusted them. He is waiting for the catch. Waiting for it all to blow up in his face. I can see it. He is saying "it's a lot to digest", but he means he isn't sure yet if he wants the obligations that must come with such 'gifts'.

It's so nice that he's worried about the rats. I've heard they make great pets. They are social and loving. Like tiny little dogs if you train them. I feel sorry for them. They are mammals just like we are. They love their babies and want to live just like we all do.
We could all be kinder to animals and show others through our examples.
