Gotta get me a fretless. I'll never play like this but that tone is something that has been part of my musical inspiration for a long time. I'm just getting going with a pick after years of playing without and it's opening up bass repertoire that never worked for me with finger style. Fretless would be a whole other planet for me at this point (minor cello experience aside) but I just gotta get me some of that mwah. 🙂
Dude hell yeah! Fretless will open up so much too. And fretless with a pick is amazing… just check out “Don’t Do It” by the Band for some perfect fretless w/pick playing
