Rough Boys, Slit Skirts, Gonna Get You, Sheraton Gibson, English Boy and Give Blood are classic Townsend solo cuts that you have to hear and are great for a YT review.

Excited to see someone reacting to songs on this great album. Crashing By Design has always been my favorite track.

This one finds its way into a lot of my playlists. Gilmour, Palladino, and Phillips are fantastic here, and Townshend didn’t play on the studio track. The live video is also incredible.

Townsend and Gilmour played on each others solo albums. Gilmours solo album, About Face has some great songs, All lovers are deranged, Murder.

The solo album this is from by pete white city was also a movie pete made. Its on you tube. And it amazing in it. Most people sadly dont like white city. My father played it alot and i grew up with it. Watch the deep end concert, david gilmour is in it and u get to see him do the amazing solo part towards the end. I always love this album. Hard to find others who like it.

Pete Townsend is a great and unique songwriter. Don't forget The Who! Simon Phillips is a great drummer who played with The Who for a bit.

Thank you for reacting to the STUDIO cut FIRST before a live version *BUT* in this ONE instance, the live version is incredible too!
All reaction videos should do the "everyone knows" studio cut, before judging the song on the LIVE version which you might miss incredible moments, or they may even omit spectacular parts of the song itself!

This particular cut is "FULL" of talent - That's Sir David Gilmore on guitar - That's Simon Phillips on the drums........
The further down the rabbit hole you go the more you realize

The entire album "White City: A Novel" is great and worth listening to in its entirety. Even lighter-sounding songs like "Brilliant Blues" and "Hiding Out" are definitely worth a listen ! This album is brilliant ! (my favorite from Pete Townshend as a solo artist).

If you haven't dipped into the Who yet, try "Eminence Front"(much in the vein of "Give Blood") and "The Real Me", the greatest bass work yet in rock.

Some of the lyrics as you were reading them were incorrect. For example, here is what the spoken part actually says: "We're heading for a day of reckoning. I'm telling you, it's all building up to something... something that can only be redeemed with fire!"

Simon Phillips is a serious force and is highly regarded in drumming circles (and for good reason). The drum beat drives this song with an incredible sense of urgency; amazing playing.
