I have a frigidaire gallery dishwasher, and I love mine. with all the wash options where you can choose the intensity of the wash- They always come out clean, and I use cheap dishwashing powder. I can use cheap powder, and simply tell the dishwasher how to clean, and it always works! whether or not to scour or surge for the pressure, or if I want a high temp wash or a power plus(heavy) cycle. I even use the 30 minute quick wash pretty frequently when the load does not have anything caked on, and it works very well. Surge is the normal spray pressure and scour is the high pressure wash, with cheap dishwashers that don't clean as well like in my past apartment, I would have to spend extra for the pod packs for extra cleaning power- but not anymore! the stuff I use costs $4 for a box wortth 120+ loads, and I have powder for pre wash as well, powder detergent would actually be more effective when combined with the scour option; since it contains gritty particulate matter for a scrubbing action.
Hi Stephanie - glad to hear. We love ours so far as well. We just get the Costco nugget detergents and it works wonderfully. Glad to hear yours is working great!
The dog cracks me up. Like, "Whats all noise about."
LOL. She’s getting older so I’m thinking she needs to be included more in videos because she’s actually really silly.
Hi. Great video. We just installed this dishwasher, and the MaxBoost Dry (that blue attachment on left side of outside dishwasher) is sending steam into the left side of our cabinet, leaving a slight puddle on floor, and bubbling molding and potentially the side of the cabinet. Do you see this problem with yours?
No, haven’t experienced it. Awful, hope you get it resolved!
Thanks for the quick reply. Working on it...
The dishwasher looked wet. Did you pre-rinse the dishes?
Does it dry dishes well? I've seen other comments and reviews that the dishes are not dry even when using the max dry option.
Mine dry well, but I also don’t open it right away. I wait till after the hot air dissipates and then open the door.
I did a “quick wash” on heat dry. Haven’t done max boost at all yet. For heat dry, if there is an upside bowl, with a lip on the bottom, it’ll catch water and not dry. (I believe that is normal though)
I got one of these washer, or least the same line or series. It does dry dishes pretty well, but we do ALL the things. We rinse all dishes, we try to make sure none of the dishes pool water, we keep the jet dry full, and we run the hot water tap at the sink until very hot. We only run one cycle, and start it before bed. Dishes have been very clean and very dry.
That’s good to hear! It’s a bit tight than what I’m used to for the silverware area. Same for you?
Been 3 years. Any issues or complaints?
Do you know of this dishwasher has a disposal, heats the water and has a sensor for dirt?
No, I do not. Sorry.
how did you know when the cycle is done without opening the door? does it beep?
It just silences and I believe on the screen it it may have text that it’s done /clean but I just go by noise/lights off.
I verified it appears with the green light on next to “clean.”
Do you still like this dishwasher?
Yes my only drawback is that it’s a bit narrow/smaller than my old one. The silverware basket is a bit annoyingly small. If I were you, there are some dishwashers with a door or top rack utensil holder. I’d go that route if that is a pet peeve of yours.
