No, Home Depot does not have technicians, they contract all of this out. Watch these people like a hawk, make sure they not only hook everything up properly, but also make sure they use the new hardware you paid for. Also, do your own leak check.
So right about watching the installers like a hawk. Take your eyes off their work and trust me, they skip a step or two! We just had to call LG back to balance the machine properly and add a clamp and they haven’t returned our call yet!
gosh...the kid got shocked while connecting hot wire. this not only hurts and it could damage circuit board inside the dishwasher, he should have turned the breaker off to make connection.

I recently bought this unit. The strange thing is that I tried to run a load TWICE after supper. Neither time would the power come on. In the morning, it worked perfectly. All I did was push power and it worked fine.
I just got the lowest priced LG dishwasher that got a nod from consumer reports. It has a difficult to read pared down front instrument panel. You need a flashlight to see the wording! Not a ‘quad wash’ appliance. No 3rd rack option. Less room inside for dishes. No side space for flat baking dishes. Pared own features abound overall. Not as optional as my 2nd Kitchen Aide ( because my 1st K A dishwasher lasted 23 years!) that sadly had to go after @ 7 years. Needed a $ new hinge and a $3-400 instrument panel replacement most likely. So far, the LG washes the dishes thoroughly. Dries well with no rinse aide - you can just fill the dispenser with water. The machine does not know the difference. NO water spots, and I have hard water! I use Finish Powerball Quantum pods. This appliance takes fewer dishes per load unfortunately. The LG I have is LOUD by comparison to my K A dishwasher., which was MANY decibels quieter! You could hardly tell it was running at all! When I saw how thin the insulation is on the LG, a little red flag went up. The bottom front panel which covers the mechanics - motor, etc.,…is NOT insulated at all - another red flag for loud. It is almost a step back to the 90’s dishwasher noise makers. The model you are reviewing sounds equally loud! So I gotta’ live with this one though, can run it at night and avoid being distracted by the rumbles, hums, swooshes and gurgles coming from the kitchen.
Idk why my dishwasher still wet after all even though I connect it to how water line, use rinse aid, select extra dry and high temperature. Do you have any suggestions?

Mine has all kinds of hoses on the left side. I'm having trouble sliding it back in after a repair. It looks like yours doesn't have the hoses mine has. I have the steam LG.
You’re a bit harsh with that comment, but nevertheless you make a very very good point. Whenever the plumber or Eg, the gas engineer comes to install my house and install my Bosch gas cooker I empty my draws and cupboard completely. I do the same thing also for the electricians. Cheers.
If someone can't connect their wifi all they need to do is go into their modem/router and turn the band steering off which will separate the wireless channels that make an individual 2.4 and an individual 5ghz.
Wonderful dishwasher! Only one problem. It's too deep for most american homes. Our house was built in 2003 and the dishwasher was still a little too deep. We found another dishwasher that was the most popular in America - not becuase it is better than LG - it is because it is just a little smaller which makes it possible for the majority of Americans to install it. Make the LG a little less deep and it will be the number one dishwasher in the United States!
These guys did not install your dishwasher according to manufacturers specifications. I am installing my own. It aays you must install the cords through one hole drilled at the bottom left or right of the sink. It says if the old hoses go elsewhere you must re drill the hole. They also did not level your dishwasher.
My NEW LG is set to Nite Dry. Only a little water remained on undersides of cups and some grooved sedges of lids. Everything else was spotless and dry! INTERIOR was spotless and dry too. So far that seems to be a strong feature.
I have same question! Actually it seems in the video there isn’t a green wire coming from the electricity line either. I’m confused how these guys deal with the green wire coming from the dishwasher.
@@PMart317 HI, I kept the dishwasher. I put the rinse liquid and it made a big difference. Also when I first tried it, I did not have enough dish inside, so it did not become very hot and did not dry well. That was a mistake since it's the hot dish that actually produces the heat to dry everything. We are very happy with the LG dishwasher now.
Stay away from this model. I bought this dishwasher in 2021 and out of no where the dishwasher stopped working and the warranty expired after one year of purchase. The dishwasher won't turn on, tried flipping the circuit breaker off and on all it does is the lights go on for 5 seconds and then all the lights go off. The dishwasher won't turn on. I would never ever own any LG product again.

IKR...turn the dang breaker off!...also I couldn't see if he installed the power cable strain relief when making those power connections.

80 dB with dish inside it’s actually a lot louder because of the jets hitting the dishes

There is a second rinse arm under the second rack only.

How do I lower the time on my LG 10 dishwasher
The controls are not visible once the door is closed. No way to see how much time is left or read the word END. I find this very confusing.
You can install it with a bit bigger gap at the top; that way you can see the controls.
Pull it a little more forward and then screw it back in so it doesn’t tip but you can see the buttons.
qhere I can download the manual? I just bought one used 6 months only but I need to understand for why didnt heat to dry.

I imagine you have figured this out by now. The green wire is your ground wire. Very important to ground all power.

Bosh has horrible clogging issues which my parents run into a lot.
I use a rinse aid and dries very well. Also look at your settings.
