It is funny how your showing us how to work the machine and you can’t get it to work effortlessly. This dishwasher has flaws and I’m happy it’s not just me that has trouble. I will say that pressing the buttons while open actually got my operational. That was a good unintentional tip.

I'm 43 and never used the dishwasher in any apt I ever had . My mom never used them either so I had no clue how to even load the soap . I'm now waiting on this thing to stop. A friend said it can take 1.5 to 2 hours.. like holy shit. Still better than hand washing for sure

You need to open it and press the choice of wash and then press start, it will blink then close it

Why is there a blue LED light under the door when it’s running I assume to let you know it is running but how do you know when it is finished

I have this same dishwasher and it’s stuck on heavy wash, I can’t figure out how to change the program. I’ve tried resetting it and turning off/on breaker. It won’t let me select anything but heavy wash with high temp and sanitization.

I purchased this dishwasher at Lowes as a 4th of July Special. Do you actually need to run hot water in order for the dishwasher to turn on and start washing?

How do i stop the cycle please.
I had pressed normal wash and pressed start and closed door which automatically starts.
Then noticed that heavy wash is on as well as hi tenp wash and sanitize wash which i did not select. I want to stop the machine and i press cancel 3 seconds and nothing happens i hear the water running inside i will be scared to open the door while water is splashing

I have the same horrible dishwasher. came with the house. ( must have been CHEAP for the builder to install ). I was told by Frididaire, to use only Finish washng tabs and to always use rinsing agent, again by Finish. To have on Hot water and Sanitize wash. The WET DISH issue is better... not resolved. We have been opening door after cycle to air dry any moisture . WILL NEVER PURCHASE A DISHWASHER THAT DOES NOT HAVE A HEATER/DRYER. However.. we will wait for this one to DIE before we get another.
Yes same here I will never buy a dishwasher that doesn't dry you have to press and press to have it going

What you mean I have this one and it drys everything by the time I open the door and it's so hot I can't even touch the stuff for a while

Good video! Terrible washer though. I don't recommend this dishwasher the buttons are very hard to press and Ours had an issue when we first had it installed the circuit board was broken those buttons are just terrible they're not even buttons just sticky metal conductors that will break over time with moisture. Hopefully people saw this video in my comment before buying this piece of junk we have to have a repair guy come in from the company and it's a one month wait so we don't have a dishwasher for a new condo

Just got my brand new fridgedaire dishwasher installed, and it does not work. It turns on sometimes and it doesn't at other times, but it will not wash the dishes nor does the soap dispenser opens. It just goes through a couple minutes of a light rinse cycle. I am so dissapointed. What a waste of money and a load of time ordering from Home Depot. Order it on July 22nd. Finally, got it delivered 2 weeks ago, and installed on last Friday. It's the middle of September. The worse experience.
@@tisland01 we had one of the service represents come out the dishwasher does work it's just very difficult to operate you can only program it when the dishwasher doors open and then you closing it starts automatically very annoying check out my channel I have lots of good Fix-It stuff

I got my remodeled everything in my apartment and my dishwasher doesn't get any water!! I have called maintenance several times but they can't find the fault either 😂😭 what you think?

HOW do you open the rinse compartment? I grew up in a different country and have never owned a dish washer before
It turns open, but it’s hard. That little cap screws off to add rinse aid for cleaner dishes.

@@DIYPinto It just randomly started working. It seems like it's a latch problem, as I have to close it and open it to turn on the buttons, then slam it shut after hitting start. It's a terribly designed appliance. fortunately, I just rent atm so I'm not stuck with it forever.
This dishwasher is new to me and I am having a hard time understanding how to use it. It’s not intuitive.

First time in my life I've had to google an instructional to teach me how to use a dishwasher, as if it's some kind of rocket science. And the first one that comes up is your video, which is the first "how to" video I've ever seen where the instructor demonstrates how poorly this thing actually (doesn't) works. You can't get it to follow your commands and you're the one posting the video 😆I left your video very unimpressed and far LESS confident with this machine than I was before I watched it. 🤣
