You saved me. The first time a friend (woman) did it for me. The second time I did it myself but couldn't figure out how to put it back and had to hire someone. I am soooo not mechanically oriented that I had to watch it 3 times. I got it apart and cleaned it fine, but couldn't get it back together. The third time I realized that it didn't fit because I was trying to put a part in upside down! It is now spurting water onto my dishes! Now I know how to do it. You can have my third grandchild (they are only having 2, but its the thought that counts, right?) Seriously, thank you for your help, you saved me.

I'll be 50 this year and up until about 1 year ago. I had no idea that there was a filter in the dishwasher and that it needed to be cleaned. I've literally never seen one person in my life clean a dishwasher filter. Let alone, anybody talk about it. I though the stuff at the bottom got grinded up and went out with the disposal. So when we had a little bit of stuff that would be at the bottom of the dishwasher. I had no idea what to do. Then the pandemic hit, yada yada yada. We've had a relatively brand new dishwasher that we haven't used for years. How sad is this? I'll answer.... very very sad. Then come to find out... There's a filter and it needs to be clean. *fuwhaaap* (figurative gut punch)
Short story long... this was a great quick and to the point video. Thank you!

I've had my Frigidaire dishwasher (plus the matching fridge and oven, the oven was quite damaged so I "negotiated/bitched and whined" and got 60% or 70% off - however it later dawned on me how quickly they had agreed, so I did some 🤔 and started wondering how much lower these bastards would have gone) for about 4 years and this is the first video I've seen that not only features the same make and model of appliance/dishwasher that I have but the guy is showing us how to fix the exact thing I need to fix it (it's a screen so clean it sounds better).
However, I did have to watch the beginning of 3 or 5 shit videos before I found this one.
So as a way to hopefully save time in the future and because you just showed me how to do a task in 10 minutes that I thought would take an hour I've subscribed.

This may be the greatest how to video I've ever seen. Thanks.

Very entertaining and thank you for posting. One comment is that there is still standing water in the filter reservoir. This means that the DIY project isn't finished, and the drain tube probably needs unclogged.
