Definitely the best GNCS to date. They were so close the whole time, and then that TTDDS Petra Klee melt Ganyu blew up not only the vishaps, but also my mind.

The Ganyu sunfire gaming is super cool. Also the petra ttds Klee was such a genius move
Ganyu sunfire has the fastest pyro application allowing her to use burst and still melt charge shots. It's pretty cool. Sadly not many people wanna play it because you have to stay in the face of the enemies as an archer, KEKW. Maybe dendro burning reaction will open open new ways to play melt ganyu. Copium.

@@leexingha It’s technically possible to go shieldless in xiangling or kazuha melt comps, but missing or getting interrupted during a charge shot is so much damage loss. I would never play melt ganyu with out daddy zhongli.
@@leexingha it's alright but the tendency for ganyu not to melt or having no reaction at all is highly possible too bcs of Zhongli pillar, although this is completely invalid against bigger opponents due to thd destruction of his pillar. Some people prefer bring another dmg boosting like kazuha etc. bcs if they're able to 1 shot the enemy, than there's no need for shielding.
@@haku9815 when you cast zhongli E, just turn 180º away from the enemy

smart move right there
I think klee picked up a cryo crystalize for ganyu 19:23 not pyro for xiangling, and also xiangling Q before klee even was switched in.

TENTEN, PLZ SPEND SOMETIME AND PUT THE RULE OF THE TOURNAMENT IN THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO
For people who don’t know, here is the rule:
Each team is only allowed using 1 5 star weapon
For artifacts, you can only use 14 level 20 artifacts, any other artifact must be level 0 (no level 1-19 artifact)
5 stars characters are not allowed to use 5 level 20 artifact
5 stars characters can only be C2 or below, meanwhile 4 stars can be c0 to c6
---The expectation (the enemy of eternity :))) ) to the rule----
Traveler, Diluc, and Keiqing are allowed to use 5 max level artifacts and a 5-star weapon (this doesn’t count in the one 5 stars weapon limit)

This is actually interesting though. It balances out the firepower and promotes creativity while also making it accessible to the public without whaling.
Also, you know Keqing and Diluc are powercrept already when they are allowed to get max artifacts (and this alone shiws that you can actually 3* Abyss with at least one artifacts at lvl 20.

you can see the in most recent video, both team can choose Ayaka because it was during Ayaka rerun banner (normally, she get banned instantly)

This is why I hope the new combat event gets adapted into permanent endgame. Genshin mechanics allow for so much creativity when you have to improvise and are willing to go just a few steps below optimal.

Totally I had a blast.
I tried getting sub 3 min clears for all, except the last one which I aimed for 7 by planning out my teams and it was a blast when it clicked.
Also the buff and card system is golden. Gave me serious rebirth of Isaac and hades vibes

Sunfire is such an underexplored mechanic honestly, you can melt every single icicle in ganyu's ult while charge attacking and you can pentamelt chongyun's kit and its sooooo good. Hopefully in the future we get another element version of sunfire
Razor + jean is electrofire
Dendro + Pyro = burning = continously refreshing pyro aura, allowing ganyu to melt her charge shots repeatedly with only pyro the start and ocasional dendro. We might get some kind of dendro melt ganyu soon that allow her to not only use her burst for cyro bonus in a melt comp but also no longer having to stay in the face of the enemies. (COPIUM)
Not possible. You cannot melt every single icicle due to its having ICD
You can melt all 4 of Chongyun's swords without sunfire too fyi

@@Vizible21 Yikes, I do. It's pretty fun to watch people coming up with unusual team comps due to limitations and trying to perform at the mercy of RNG. Obviously I would prefer to have these kind of competitive modes or more coop in game tho, but for now, since there is no actual end game, this tournament is very fun to watch, imo, while i wait for my resin to refill. copium.
GNCS 11 (the next one, so far 13 episodes are out) has the best big brain technique showed so far, it blew my mind.

@@barbiplz there were 2 big brain moment, the biggest brain moment was having ayake deliberately get hit by heralds(unshielded state, no self-hydro at the moment) to have hydro status on the field so sucrose can dye her ult to hydro. pairing with ayaka's to freeze the hydro heralds(so the ult hits all dmg ticks), then a single ult to send both heralds to phase 2. That team achive freezing without a single hydro character(the other team ban/took the hydro to sabotage ayaka)
the other one was the positioning of Jean during 12-2 with 3 elements heralds
the positioning and timing are outstanding overall in both team, and the creative gimmicks are everywhere
Damn banning some characters really opens up a lot of team comps and builds I thought I'd never see, like wtf was that TTDS Petra Klee

They didnt make Lisa as a "healer". They gave her Prototype Amber to get free energy back after casting burst because they dont have another electro to produce electro particles for Lisa
Prototype Amber also heals, so she can do both.

@@Killey. That is the problem. All of Kokomi's artifacts are +0, so she does not heal reliably.
Both Kokomi and Lisa are the healers of the team. If it weren't for both, Eula would have fallen against the Bathysmal Vishaps and the Ruin Graders.
The idea is to have all the characters do the most amount of funcitons as possible, so Lisa is healer, debuffer, buffer and self-battery, and Kokomi is healer and buffer.

1:34 They have special rule for keqing, diluc and mc. Only these three characters can wear artifacts and 5 star weapon without limitation. For other characters, they can wear at most 1 5-star weapon and 14 lv20 artifacts for 2 teams

This game, both players seem like less pepega than previous game, which pick strong unit instead of questionable one (I think there's a older game when no one picked fiscl nor she was banned)

Do people forget that rosaria can buff crit rate and on top of that there is cryo resonance..so not 50/50 for eula

@@bangletassel9539 Easily consistent.c2 rosaria Q has 12 seconds duration. Along with the cryo apllied by her Q and Eula building stacks there will be cryo on impact most of the time.
But people need to do eula q directly after rosaria q. No swapping animation and e before q.. That might affect timing.
People only know bennet, xiangling, xingqiu
And you seems to forget that rozaria has 5% crit rate, her Q transfers 15% of her crit rate, not 15% everytime. And also forget cryo ressonance requires the enemy to be inflicted with cryo, if you slow down the video at 5:32 there is no cryo applied to the enemies on the moment of eula Q exploding. One has hydro another one doesn't have any element.
@@darkomiku8902 Well I have to add that her E increases her CR to 17% and sure it's only a 3% when u take increase and when the opponent is only affected by cryo u get 18% in total with resonance. Here he got lucky crit without resonance but overall it's a good strategy and good for running low cr eula.

So it was from a fairly popular game that I'm quite familiar with, but unfortunately haven't played yet.
these are so much fun to watch
simply just right click and jump. If you a bit high then enemy you can plunge attack. That's why the Hutao can plunge attack the first time. Second time, it's because hutao jump on the tail and plunge attack while the attack animation is over(that's why no damage taken).
what are the exact rules for consts, artifacts, weapons and skill levels? also is this an old footage or is this an old client used autonomously?
Each side can have only 14 lv20 artifacts for 8 chara while others can only use lv0 artifacts.C3 for 5* characters and C6 for 4* are allowed.Each side get one 5* weapon for one team in one chamber.But if MC is in team,MC can have 5 more lv20 artifacts and a C2 5*weapon for himself/herself,MC won’t be banned.Keqing and Diluc can have 1 more lv20 artifact and 1 C2 5*weapon for their own.The 5* chara in the banner is allowed to be use in both side.

Because Keqing uses her own brute strength while a lot of other characters need batteries or specific buffers or etc
Because Keqing is pretty good actually if u run her smartly like they did here. Her burst has a very high uptime and is very practical with the s and aoe dmg. Plus the CA are super fast so she's great for fast dps and then quickswap before she runs out of stamina.
This reminds of Onmyoji with the ban and pick stage. Love it!

As much as how entertaining this is, gameplay like this is a much better learning and theocrafting opportunity rather than a precursor to a competitive PVP that can implemented.
Except for the elite few, the average player cannot amass enough characters/weapons/constellation to even practice or experiment comps. How then are you able to refine “competition” if there is no one to play against?
Then when most players use characters
for PVE, there is no reason to adjust them against each other for select group especially when evaluating
“performance” is another problem by itself.
Yeah, I totally agree on this. While it is entertaining to see different team comps, and how one utilises their game knowledge. It's more of a theory/game knowledge and/or mechanics.
That being said, I really don't want GI to become a PvP game. Maybe a game mode with pre-determined stats/artifacts/weapons for THIS type of "competitive" play.

C6 shenhe and c6 ayaka charged attack is enough
16:37, cuz Beidou could use her brust well at first 2 hits in her normal attack combo and she could do perfect parry for big number. And pick up energy for her brust
Other teammate can not perform as good as Beidou in this case

I think the first Eula run, you cant say its lucky on 50 50.. Because rosaria buffing her crit rate and the frozen enemies also give more crit from cryo resonance
