in case of anemo mc,they priority infusion is cryo>hydro instead of hydro>cryo (like everyone else)

Using jean to break pyro lectors shield and using sucrose to hydro swirl were one of the most brilliant techniques I have ever seen...truly 5 head

@@xanderkai6353 The player let themselves get hit from a hydro attack which put the hydro aura on their own character, then stood inside the sucrose burst with that hydro aura active so the burst went hydro. It's essentially self-infusion, it's a pretty common tactic for Jean or Kazuha but I never saw it with Sucrose before.
the hydro application was the smartest play ive seen in the whole game, i didnt even know sucrose could swirl elements applied to you
Its slightly RNG but yeah when you use sucrose alot you get to know this interaction.

@@sefjo5223 Its not RNG. Cryo is the last element you can get from Elemental Absorption
She can't. You have to keep in mind that swirl and absorbsion are very different things. You can only swirl an element that has been applied to the enemy (aura), but you can absorb any element in the vicinity no matter where it comes from. You just have to keep in mind the absorbsion priorities.

Getting a 2k damage hit on purpose while you only have 3.7k hp for big brain sucrose infuse strat is the wildest thing i have ever seen in genshin.

Already done on my country too.check out anyar gamers channels every abyss reset it would be some tourney with F2P rules(only using 4 star weapon and low cons 5 star).

They used travelers for the last chamber because they are the only characters that prioritize cryo infusion over other elements.
Also the hold E cuts dont have ICD i think

its actually the creativity and unique team comp that makes this really entertaining. i doubt content creator or theorycrafter is the right people for that

It’s gonna be hard to provide accounts with all of those characters, esp w the constellations and stuff. Plus most eng theory crafters only know how to theory craft and are kinda bad at the game

Did u guys realize dat team lumine played with only OG characters except for Ayaka. The rest of their picks were all pre-Inazuma release but it was such a close battle with various crazy strategies. Those OG characters will not fall behind so easily if used in such smart manner! Love to see it!

Eula let down Team Lumine so badly lmfao. That damage per screenshot looks great as a crit, but it's incredibly slow to pull off and hard to ramp up without missing a couple of enemies along the way.
yeah most of the time the team who picked up Eula ended up losing.
yeah, you could argue even Childe and Hutao have damage per screeenshot, but Childe has big aoe dmg on his E attack and his fast hydro application can enable off field dps, hutao has one of the highest single target dmg from her charged attacks, and most importantly their burst dmg is fronloaded, consistent and doesnt have as high energy requirement. I dont know why they choose to play Eula over some other characters here. hutao could have been better, possibly and childe is banned.
In this case the lack of a CC character is what cause team lumine the most time on chamber 1.

It's also super important to note that anemo mc has a different priority when swirling with their e or q. This means they'll typically swirl hydro when a frozen enemy is inflicted by both!
I could play this game for another 5 years and still not be able to pull off some of the stuff these guys do. Remember guys, them just having pulled it off isn't the amazing part. Its that they pulled it off on their first try whilst under all that pressure. These guys are on another level.

Actually those aren't their first try. They have allowed retrying since a few episodes back, because it is much more entertaining for viewers, since typically viewers wouldn't want to watch safe plays that can be easily reproduced repetitively. Note that Eula has only 26% Crit Rate at 21:11 and let's be real, how likely is it for her to crit her burst on both lectors, on the first try?
Don't get me wrong, they do have insane skills to be able to pull these plays off, just wanna add some context here, that retrying/crit fishing was allowed.

Everyone saying that the hydro self application was 5head but whats really amazing is that they actually did it. If the hydro lectors stood a bit closer to it, it wouldve applied cryo instead and there would be no freeze
The mobile gamer is a chad. I've been playing this game on mobile since the game launched. Since I'm living from SEA where most of the people can't afford a gaming PC (but at least can afford decent phone). Hoping that mobile player will play the tournament again.

These are very brilliant plays, the use of Xiao, Sucrose Sac against WF and both side of Ayaka Freeze plays, especially Sucrose's self Hydro swirl.

Xiao double cryo is actually a very popular meta team in China so it is not surprised at all, it is to buff his crit chance. Also they open the map for Jean to receive her energy immediately

Hi, I’m just here to raise exposure that abyss tourneys don’t just happen in cn but there are many other people that do it. Some mentions are like thegambitsg and other smaller ones. They don’t really have a lot lot of people joining like the one in this video hence I believe if you are interested or you believe you can pull off these 500iq plays, do go and check them out! If anyone else knows any other streamers etc, do note them down!

Tamping down on the power you can bring (artifacts, 5 star cons, and 5 star weapons) not only forces teams to actually interact with the enemy instead of brute forcing them but also allows them to "buff" underperformers, brilliant honestly.
OH MY GOD i actually often do self hydro infusion on sucrose Q with xq's E but didn't know how lmaooo the last ayaka gameplay explains it all, my brain is just too smooth to connect the dots

Literally everyone is talking about the infusions, but the Ganyu dodging the Lectors Shield setups was far more impressive as those I frames are actually difficult compared to how the games elements function.

Traveler's elemental absorption priority is cryo->pyro->hydro->electro and other anemo characters are pyro->hydro->electro->cryo, so there is less of an RNG component to the sheild breaking strat here

I can't even swirl properly with a dedicated unit for that specific element but these guys use enemies elemental attacks against them. I'm hoping this tournament goes worldwide and becomes mainstream not just on genshin in but on other servers as well.

I always do that when play tazer, using sucrose q as opener and standing in the middle while holding beidou e to self apply and infuse sucrose q with electro for c6 buff
I'm not too much of a meta player and I don't know many of the strats out there so whenever i see someone who pulls off these creative and effective strategies, I'm just flabbergasted. And you definitely seem to be one of those creative ones.
