Childe is just built different. I got him to put him in my teapot-. Also ittos voice lines tend to make people pull cause they are so good. I don’t blame them-
As someone who got her trying to get Sayu by mistake when I was still a low AR player, honestly I regret her... I wish I knew how pity worked because I know a lot of people want her and I'm over here using her as a bench warmer 😭
@@foxfm1987ult I already have her leveled up actually, I have Fischl leveled up but don't have a set or talents for her. I just don't like Yoimiya's gameplay...
For me I pity them, they will never know the satisfaction of taser Childe team and seeing all those numbers, or how OP Childe international is, even though many people praise International as a top meta team. I like having a character that I have to learn how to use because it makes game play more interesting.
I don't trash on him for how he works or plays, I trash on him for his personality and design. Each to their own though, I can see why he's liked. But someone's skill issue being a reason they dislike the character is just a "get good" situation.
It's because he doesn't have tits It's fine to not like Tartar sauce but a portion of his criticisms are just... Cooldown. Which I mean is valid if that playstyle isn't for you, but also don't stay in melee mode for 20+ seconds then complain he sucks.
when u realize all the characters on the list are fairly popular so the non popular characters or characters many people didnt pull dont even get to be on the list.
I know so many people who just love yoimiya yae or shenhe that it really doesn’t matter how strong they are since people were pulling them not for their strength to begin with
Yelan/Kazuha are both popular and pulled alot but they are the only ones that are not mentioned in the most regret graph. Just shows how good and easy to play these two characters are
The only thing I really hate about Wanderer is his auto aims. When he's in the air and fighting a geo samachurl on a pillar, he will aim FOR THE PILLAR instead of the actual enemy.
He was my second 5* and i honestly hated him, its been almost a year since i got him and i finally JUST rebuilt him and learned his rotations. I see now why he is still one of the top used characters in abyss, hes fun, satisfying, and so strong.
@sium4364 from my experience a lot of people hate using childe bc his rotations are quite a bit more meticulous and if you don't do it correctly every time you end up rotating to childe while still having a cool down on his skill. So if that happens you lose out on all the buffs you just applied. That atleast how I portrayed it. I know his cool downs were why I hated him at first but I didn't even understand rotations, just kinda threw out bullshit and hoped for the best.
You seemed confused at why people would regret Hu Tao for her gameplay, and said that people have false expectations of her C0, but I think it's simpler than that. At C0 you have to manage stamina, which simply isn't fun for a lot of people. That and jump cancelling isn't fun for a lot of people either.
and then people ask why we didn't get harder end game content, like this exactly people don't want to learn newer skills or do harder stuff in the game, which is fair i dont mind it but then also complain about it is what gets to me
@@siliconhawk it's very possible the people who ask for harder content and the people who dislike c0 Hu Tao are not the same. if anything, it seems very likely that those who ask for harder content would be the same people that perfect animation cancels etc and still want something harder/more rewarding
@@lynxace1602 Exactly this, and the casual player base is much larger than the other. Most players aren't even looking online at Reddit or RUclips. That isn't to say that Genshin wouldn't benefit from additional endgame content, just that these are different demographics of players. Plus as Febb mentioned, mobile players (since again the majority are likely not playing with an external controller).
The only thing "bad" about Childe is that people read the 30s duration of his skill and automatically assume that they're meant to use him for 20+ seconds, which you would never do with any other DPS character (though Cyno does come close). Think of Childe just like you would Hu Tao or Yoimiya with their
Giving people the choice to mess it up is bad design, no one cares about Yoi, Hu or Wanderer infusions durations because they can’t fuck it up, and switching out to not die feels like a decision, no one wants to be looking at the CD timer.
Yeah you are probably supposed to use him as a quickswap nuker. Once Xiangling's burst is done you're supposed to swap him out. that said, I do recommend putting him with teammates that can stand alone by themselves, like if he's on cooldown then they can still output some damage on the team. For example I'd put him with Xiangling, Raiden, and Nahida so if I accidentally use his skill for a little bit too long those team members can still pick up the pace and do some damage
@@impendio I get where you're coming from, but wouldn't call it "bad" design myself. One advantage that you have with Childe is that you CAN use him longer if you need to, for example to finish off the last enemy of an Abyss floor real quick. If you are in that situation with Hu Tao, you have no choice but to either attack with physical damage and lose time, use her burst which then won't be up for the next floor, or switch out to a character that deals less damage than her. Still, I agree that the maximum duration of 30s is pretty much never useful and quite a bit over the top.
@@tiramisu7544 I absolutely second this. The Raiden Nahida team is pretty expensive though with two limited archons, but essentially it's already pretty much fine to pair him with Kazuha for example who can fill the gap a bit especially with multiple enemies around and is already Childe's best support. And when used with Xiangling, Childe can easily put out some crazy strong vaped charged shots by having Guoba on the field.
@@impendio some people actually like that you can mess up, so I wouldn't call it "bad" design, it's more of "involved" one (as in: stop using your spine and think with your brain, at least once in a while). Genshin has a lot of bad design decisions, but Childe and his kit isn't one of them.
I got Childe on his second rerun, fully understanding what I signed up for. No regrets whatsoever, I feel like mastering his gameplay within International is very rewarding for me.
True, i joined the game back in 2.1 and chose childe over Hutao when half of internet was slandering him and due to him being a second hydro i have been 36 starring abyss since 2.3 forward.
I got him in his last rerun, one of my favorite characters, I don't regret and love his game play, I don't find difficult and I don't really care about his cooldown, I manage quite well
I got him on his recent rerun, he has quite a bit of teams to work with I can't imagine thinking he sucks. Hyper boom/ burgeon work really damn well, even regular bloom spam. Than you got beidou for electro charged, and or xiangling for vapes. Dudes just incredibly versatile.
As one of the biggest Itto mains of all time/ Mono Geo enthusiast I can honestly really understand people not loving him if you don't get everything he needs to be successful
@@contreniun8619 as a c6 itto player myself, well IMO when he said average dmg is because itto cannot do those huge numbers dmg since there's no reaction that buffs geo dmg but his rotation, utility and consistency is no doubt in the top ones. and man when u hit with that big club at c6 it feels so fkg great and satisfying
I loved his personality and really wanted a big geo dmg dealer at the time, pulling for him was a no brainer. Then I got THREE Ittos in less than 60 pulls. He is now in my top 3 favorite characters and he is part of one of my best teams xD
The only reason I just can't physically just give it to even a try in pulling ever is because geo is so bad unless he works well with other teams I ain't pulling
No one says about Xiao, so I will. I’ve been through all stages, pulled him on my birthday, liked him a lot, then started using other characters and completely forgot about him, was really disappointed, but after some time I started playing him again and I like everything about him, play style is my favorite part, he also helps me in abyss a lot (I prefer using him to Ayaka), and I even don’t use his best team. I also think about spending 10-20 wishes on his banner and won’t regret getting him c1 😊
I love Xiao too. He was my first five star and will always have a special place in my heart. I love his jumpy playstyle and I still use him in spiral abyss
finally someone appreciating xiao! He is my favourite character in genshin and he is the reason i was able to get to floor 12! Before i got him i couldn’t even get past floor 10.
I just don’t get why Xiao gets so much hate… Imo his gameplay is so fun and one of a kind. Bro really does plunges, dashes, spins, can attack on multiple levels and still people call his gameplay repetative smh
Venti was the first character I set out to get when I started the game, so even though he isn't one of the best anymore, I don't regret burning everything I had to get him at the Itadori Festival.
@@xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58 I actually didn't notice it isn't Irodori since I'm not wearing my glasses but now that you mentioned it so funny they mistaken it to Itadori 😂
Dude, you're SO right. The minute I figured out how to play childe correctly he DOMINATED. For anyone curious, it really comes down to NEVER staying in his dagger form for more than like...13 seconds. You NEED to be switching more than that. The full cool down on his skill is to be avoided like the PLAGUE.
This. 🥰 I have him with Zhongli, Nahida and Kuki usually. Or my C6 Yanfei in replacement for Kuki. By the time everyone's e's are cast, he just needs 8 seconds on field for me and it's magic. Never regretted gravitating towards him as the first bow character I ever focused on.
True, true. And once you get his passive, get a hell of a lot easier since you can use his burst to detonate his riptide. Also, taking out one enemy with it detonates that enemy for AOE. God I fucking love playing him.
Proud yoimiya main here. I don't think I will ever regret pulling her. she's honestly a good unit. Especially against those annoying bosses that move around a lot life the electro oceanid, the flying wolf, the robot chicken and worm. She is a comfort pick. If you want to beat the Abbyss without having to try so hard she is perfect. As long as you have zhongli of course
i don't regret pulling for Venti, he's by far my fav main and i have a lot of fun gaming with him, and he low key carries my team along with Zhongli. i love him as a character and find his playstyle hilarious (just sucking in enemies into a vortex and exploding them with pyro is a fun combo).
Same, i got him the last rerun and he helped me to 36 star abyss for the first time with international team, and he is not leaving my overworld team too
I'm honestly surprised Yae Miko isn't even on the list and thats coming from a fan of her. Then again, since Dendro came out she's so strong that its not an issue.
she hits like a truck once built. Even at C0, give her raiden and you’ll never have to worry about energy. Even tho i don’t get to enjoy her, she’ll kill anything that comes near me
I was expecting Yae Miko to be on this list too. I’m a fan of her that I even got her signature weapon. I hardly use her right now because her turrets take too long to set up as an off field dps, so I still prefer my built C6 Fischl, who is just as broken. Though once I get Nahida, I’m building Yae Miko as on field dps as the queen deserves more spotlight.
@@alexguzman230 Not even Raiden, I use her with Fischl and dendro traveler with fav sword, that is enough for me to get his burst back in almost every rotation
As a Yoimiya main, I believed that most of us pulled because we actually like her or if there were impulse pulls, they also came to like her because of her personality, easier gameplay and decent damage. Yoimiya best girl ☺️☺️☺️
I mean what’s there to hate about her character. Literal #1 personality in the game. Accidentally pulled her on her first banner and I haven’t regretted it since
i love her personality but her kit is just, _so boring._ like, you use your skill, which buffs your _bow normal attacks,_ do three full normal attack combos, then ignore your burst 🙃
@@candycorn- I get where you're coming from but isn't it actually the same for almost everyone? We repeat the same attack sets to max their damage. 🤔 "Ignoring" her burst is a plus to me, too since I don't have to worry about ER and funneling. Although I do use it at the start of the rotation while doing abyss. 🙈 But yeah, I guess to each their own. I'm just a yoi simp, is all. 🤣
Tartag was a lesson in it of himself. I had to literally learn him so there's a ton of reasons why he is among my faves. When I was in need of a bow character, finally when I had developed the appreciation for bow characters, he was the one who came home. Thus was the first of the arrow characters, and perhaps the only one that I adore. I used to play a lot on mobile, and the aiming sucked so bad thus zero bows for me then. When I moved to PC, well, I finally managed to enjoy a good aim + shoot, but instead of getting icy Ganyu, he was it. Even after Collei. Pulled him, learned him, never regretted it since. Those riptides are the most satisfying thing I have ever seen.
i skipped albedo to get itto on his first banner but since i don’t have another 5 star geo my team is itto gorou ningguang and bennett but i don’t enjoy playing ningguang she’s just there for gorous buff and idk his damage is nice sometimes he hits 50k but it’s just really boring cuz i use bennett burst gorou skill ningguang skill itto burst and it’s too repetitive for me and it’s even worse when ittos burst isn’t up because it just leaves me with trying to get energy for him with gorou and ningguang
@@deakyisthecheesetomytoast7333 ez fix, put gorou on 4pc exile and build his crit rate on fav warbow. Put ningguang on fav codex or prototype amber or Bennett on favonius sword.
I pulled Cyno and loved him ever since. While he is not my go to option in the overworld, in Abyss he's almost always on one side. I get why people might dislike him but he love his character and looks and kit. So no regret here!
I regret pulling for Cyno because even I put my most busted artifacts on him (90% cr 230 cd% 4 piece glad with EM substats) his dmg is lower than my Keqing, Xiao, Eula, Kuki Hyperbloom, Raiden hyper or Raiden National, Ayaka freeze. Honestly I never feel like using him at all so he is always benched, my only hope is that they will add a dendro Xiangling or Xingqiu in the future with 15s+ of dendro off-field application
The funny part about this is that Cyno is, currently, my favorite character to use. I use him everywhere, including the Abyss. He is so fun to play as and, for me, he didn't disappoint. I expected low damage for someone who hits so fast and in a such large AoE. The only problem is the burst duration and the lack of characters who can keep up with him. Aside from that, he is just too good.
look man, idk what people complain about with Cyno.. dendro traveler is free with C6 cons which could easily apply dendro for Cyno wherever he goes.. ON TOP of the fact the Kuki Shinobu was also in Cyno banner which is a great healer/battery for him..
I have Cyno and I use him as a electro charge DPS since I don't have good built dendro support, I'll have to wait for Nahida rerun so that ill be able to use him again. Rn he's still on a bench😭
Ive pulled for cyno out of impulse back in the day and regretted him ever since because of golden scarabs. Recently though ive started building him and he's really fun with the timing, ive yet to make a proper team for the guy and ill be waiting to pull for nahida for a perfect cyno team. On a side note ive also pulled for alhaitham cause his attacks look pretty along with his weapon. Which he wont be getting cause that thing is going on my soon to be 50/250% crit ayaka
Yes this I think he’ll have better supports in the future. I’d love to see him in an OP electro charged comp too bc he’s immune to electro charged after all 🤷🏻♀️ or at least to some degree he is. I read it on his talents
I am seeing a lot of people comparing Alhiethem and childe because of their somewhat complicated gameplay. I like how these 2 are the only dual weilding characters.
Alhaitham really isn't that complicated. To get the highest damage burst you need three mirrors. To get the highest infusion damage you need three mirrors which you get by using e and charge attacking or plunging. Just a matter of adjusting to them and reading their kits lol
@@paulyvii same can be said about childe, as a long time childe I don't feel he's complicated at all and I am pretty sure I will get used to Alhiethem if I main him for a week or so. But many people still find them complicated because they need some prerequisite practice with to play them optimally.
I have a feeling that I'm one of the few that doesn't regret any of his 5* characters. Not even cyno. He and ayaka are a hard Carrie in the abyss for me
I’m also part of that group because I only pull if I like the character’s personality and playstyle combined. So even if they’re not meta (like Cyno), I don’t mind, because I like them and that’s enough for me… (this is coming from a Diluc main, who only ever spent money in this game to get his skin and still uses him in abyss just because he’s my favorite)
I'm not disappointed about pulling Cyno, BUT I am kinda sad that they removed his cool sound effect on his Endseer thing (the eye that pops up) that was in the beta. It had like a cool roar with an eagle sound (search for cyno closed beta gameplay), it was one of the reasons I pulled together with the stunning animations on his burst.
Honestly, I personally think that one of the reasons people regret Itto is due to not his gameplay per se, but his artifact set's imposed conditions, in which you have to NOT play Itto until he's ready to take the field, at which point he loses all the spontaneity and a lot of the fun you'd expect from his persona and portrayal
I pulled Yoimiya because I fell in love with her character. I don't regret her, with rust and shiminawas, she's so easy to build because if you put them together that's a 110% dmg increase (I have rust r3, it's way higher with 4 and 5.) That, and she doesn't need to charge her burst for the big damage.
Yoimiya is one hell of a UNIT. I didn't pull for her the first time I saw her, because I was new and scared as to why there was a banner of a fireworks cute-looking girl. Second time, I skipped her for Kazuha, so when she finally had herself her second re-run I pulled and I do not regret a damn thing.
To this day she's still the first Character I would recommend to new players. Very f2p-friendly, easy to build and play, annihilates anything in the overworld, destroys all bosses you have to farm, can be easily buffed by pretty much anything (+atk, +dmg/ele-dmg, +atk-speed, +crit, +normal-atk-dmg, everything works on her) etc. Just add any support unit you like (XQ, Fischl, Yun Jin, Yelan, Kokomi, Bennet ...) and you're good to go. And she also scales really well with high investment. Rust (or her 5* bow) and decent Shime set + XQ/Yelan + Shield = easy mode on pretty much any abyss floor.
Yeah i can see why wanderer is fun in the open world, even tho i dont have him. Flying, even atk enemy from the Air is new Fresh gameplay style. Some of people called him mid but i dont think he is mid, they just dont know how to play it or dont have good artifact/good team comp, like a Tartaglia for example LOL
@@musicdz8135 i have everyone except yelan and i don't get your point. wanderer is hands down the most convenient one out of all of them when it comes to exploration (he literally hasn't left my overworld team in weeks) he's better than kazuha in terms of vertical mobility (although his skill can't be used in midair which is a downside and i'd still use kazuha for gliding) and wanderer can be used as an on-field carry that does decent damage in the open world soooo nahida is only good for picking up flowers and stuff (in terms of exploration, not talking about dmg and reactions) and sayu gets stuck on everything lmao (btw i'm not a simp i hate his personality)
@@sekkusupisutoruzu I stopped trying to build pity later on, but I was pulling to get 4 stars and didn't care if I got Childe or a constilation, but got Childe.

As a Venti enjoyer, I completely understand why people would regret him. Kazuha's ease of use is much greater than Venti's. After using him for so long, it's hard for me to play without having him to group up all the enemies in one spot. Venti's burst is really satisfying! He's my first and only triple crown :)
I'll never regret Venti LMAO! He made the VV domain so easy. E Raiden then skill Venti for particles then slap Q then Ayato. All my anemo characters are perfect. Have the typical stats (HP-ATK-ATK-Anemo dmg-Crit) a sub dps (so EM) or full EM. It's so brain dead. Kazuha can but the farthest hoarders won't be pulled. With elegy, my VV farming team burst is always ready.
For me too I wouldn't regret pulling for venti despite having kazuha its because yes kazuha is best yes but if your playing the abyss your gonna need more than one who can crowd control
I pulled Klee because I was new to gacha games and Genshin and didn't even know what I was doing, she was my first 5 star. Too bad since if I started a little later, that could have been a Kazuha a banner later. At least I can say I'm a Klee haver when all things considered, its pretty rare title.
If you like melt Ganyu a lot, try doing it with a burning team! Nahida, Ganyu, Kazuha, and Bennett (or their 4 star counterparts) will let you do a Burning variant of Ganyu melt. As long as you don't overpower the Pyro, you can keep this up for the duration of Kazuha's burst.
A lot of what happened to Cyno was because people said his best team would be Aggrevate, when I believe it's actually Quickbloom or Hyperbloom depending on the scenario. I personally don't have any issues with Cyno himself besides the fact we don't have enough characters with long uptime. However, I am a person who learnt to dodge solely to not build a shielder so I'm suffering from my own decision, but it's okay because I got Wanderer and Xiao and I'm struggling with all three of them :'D Also at this point, I don't care for damage when I can just run National on first half of the abyss and use whatever I want on the 2nd half...
this tbh! sadly the damage has been done because people spread misinformation about him :( In quickbloom hes so damn strong! and im sure in the future he just keeps getting stronger once they release more supports for him who have a long uptime.
Well, I pulled on Cyno's banner and I DEFINETLY do NOT regret pulling him. His animations are gorgeous and DMG is really high, especially since I got nahida, but even with Dendro MC he was doing quite well. Even tought I have most of the top DPSes (Who Tao, Ittoe, Raiden Shotgun, Ayaya or Yeymiya) he's one of my best characters
"Build stacks, spend stacks, build stacks, spend stacks, throw a cow at some people" is what I love about Itto hahaha~! Anyway, one of the things that intruiged me was the inclusion of the "Not Specified" option. I always hated having to deal with surveys that's incomplete and/or having an "unspecified/others" among the choices (or, in some cases, leaving such part of said survey blank).
Cyno is my current main and I'm loving him. That said, I also have Nahida and use him with her and Xingqui, but I just swapped healers from Shinobu to Qiqi. Which is technically a downgrade, but everything still explodes and I can break electro shields easily.
Not disappointed for wanderer, he's so fun to use in open world. And can defeat any element except anemo ofc (which is rare in open world). He is my first maxed character.
nobody regrets pulling for yoimiya because, while yeah most people who pull for her are ride or die mains (like me) and not much else pulls for her outside of it, i think she is a very fun and easy character to play, all things considered.
I really dont see how raiden can be regretted. I love my c0 raiden and it makes me happy to think that che can get even stronger when I eventually get c2 and c3. Shes a beautiful archon, does really good damage even at c0 and can be used in many teams which means that she has so much variety in gameplay
To me, Raiden is clunky... but I said the same thing about Ayato and I've since redacted that statement. Might try her again to see if I need to add her to my "must pull at some point" list.
Dear Ratheil, it doesn‘t matter when you do a vid, your incredible humor will never fade. I absolutely love how you compared Childe to cereal. 8:45 Because it really makes sense! Overall, I really adore your videos as you know, and can‘t get enough of how enjoyable and fun to watch they continuously are. Plus, you teach us everything we should know! Also yes, poor Cyno. As a past Razor main, I know Sino doesn‘t deserve any of this.
Cyno needs a lot of premium support to be extremely OP, I did get disappointed a bit when I realized that there is no good dendro unit in the game that applies dendro consistently but Baizhu came to the rescue(I also got very lucky because I got Cyno's weapon on his re-run). I am now using Cyno, Baizhu, Nahida, and Furina, I was shocked when this team shredded health bars in domains.
@@EnkiMC Furina does require another healer to consistently proc her burst and stay at a healthy amount of health. So having Baizhu in my team was a win for Cyno and Furina.
OMG i had the best stroke of luck at 2am. I pulled Xingqui on standard banner on a single pull. I was planning to get him through lantern rite but now i can get yaoyao
I still love my Venti ,but Wanderer had something very specific if you wanted him to be good.... Wanderer is very easily staggered and without a shield that can protect VS stagger, it can be rough. I'm extremely surprised by Ganyu, last time they ran her banner mihoyolab was going off with people who loved her. I'm pretty sure most Childe hate comes from the "he's sooooo handsome but he's on the evil team" tho I think it's because of his hybrid style ,half ranged half Melee which probobly doesn't mesh with many ppl
i think most people hate on Cyno because they think aggravate is his best team when in actuality his best team is quickbloom he absolutely shreds abyss with quickbloom team 11:37
Childe is like one of the most versatile and strongest characters out there with tons of good supports or team comps and literally the best passive in the game. People just don’t like cooldown sim but with the right team setup, a full rotation pretty much negates his long cooldown
disagree with most versatile, he really is amazing in one team, which is internat, otherwise I don’t see him better than any hydro option in other teams.
@@thaxbax5359 I didn’t mean team versatility but he’s got tons of teams he can work in. I was moreso talking about combat versatility. He’s got range, close quarters melee, aoe coverage and big nuke potential. That and riptide is probably the strongest applied status effect in the game
@@Bunny_Edith I’m talking about what he can do that is versatile, not the team comps he has. He’s got up close, ranged, aoe, nuking. He can be a main dps or a hydro applier. He’s also got the strongest passive and debatably the strongest applied status with riptide. He’s a jack of all trades master of none
@@Bunny_Edith He actually IS extremely versatile. I've seen people use Raven Bow on him to use him as a bloom driver for Nilou, he works with anyone who has something he can proc (Hyperbloom Childe is actually in the meta rn because of Nahida). Versatile cooldown, high burst damage, and with perhaps the highest damage ceiling in the game after Ayaka, he's one of the strongest characters you can have. Most people play him against single-target enemies, but he truly shines against hordes of enemies where riptide becomes the most broken mechanic in the game. Not to mention the constant hydro application is broken in a game where ICD either makes or breaks a character's kit.
Never regretted pulling for Yoimiya, since I really love her machinegun normal attack playstyle. I dabbled in using sets such as 4pc shimenawa and Echoes (just so I could utilize her burst more), and I really enjoyed using her. My very first 36* clears of the Abyss was because of how efficient she is at single target scenarios. And just like what others have said, no one regrets pulling for Yoimiya, because only those who really like her do pull for her, taking into consideration she's always sandwiched with Meta and Archons.
1:55 saying wanderer has limited team comps is like saying raiden doesnt need ER% LMAO. Im literally overwhelmed with the different teams and characters you can use with him😭
He can play in a bunch of different teams but they are not very strong. Usually there is something better than him to replace him. He can play taser or national and it will work but something like Sucrose or Childe will work better. He is pretty much meant to be a hypercarry.
I could never regret pulling cyno because I have always thought he was one of the coolest characters in the game both story wise and design/animations wise so when I set out to get him I knew I wanted him no matter what his kit would end up like but it sure does suck a little that a couple of special cases aside he has pretty much been benched ever since his release....I have much stronger teams for abyss and in overworld enemies die too easily often before I have enough particles to get his ult back up again and playing him outside ult is rather unsatisfying too.
Just came on here to show some Cyno love after hearing that he came out (near the) top in one of these polls. I love Cyno--simple gameplay, I like his personality, and he was super easy to build for me. Electro boys forever. 💜💜💜 As always with Genshin pull and build who you love.
Can you tell me more about his gameplay and stuff? I'm a bit of a new player, I started right on the anniversary (ik lucky me haha) I have three five stars (but I don't use Deyha...) and I was planning to get Cyno because his design is really cool and I like his voicelines/personality (don't forget his awful jokes lmao), but people keep telling me that he sucks... :(( I don't want to bench him like Deyha, so can you please elaborate on his playstyle/teammates? Thanks for your time
@@iZakurai Hey! I'm sorry that I only just found this. Ok I'm going to share just how I play him, but please know that I'm not much of a technical player. Which basically means that I just click a lot and TRY to dodge as much as I can. Right off the bat, the thing with Cyno is that you want to have your burst up almost all of the time since that's where he does most of his damage. And the second thing that you have to pay attention to with his gameplay is the eye that appears while he's in his burst. Without SPD buffs I find it's normally around the third or fourth atk if you're doing NA. This eye signals that you want to tap his skill while mid burst. This does a fan atk of sorts. Just need to find a good rhythm for it. Now as an electro unit, Cyno benefits the best from dendro reactions. And that's better than just buffing raw dmg. So invest in some EM for him too. When I first got him I was running double dendro double electro. Especially as he does best in aggravate reactions rather than hyperbloom. I think one of the main issues people have with him is that it's hard to have constant dendro uptime for his burst (which is long) and you end it if you switch out. Nahida and Baizhu have the longest dendro uptime which is why they're his preferred teammates, but they may not be long enough in some cases. Another difficulty about the dendro uptime in relation to cyno's burst is that if hes up against waves of small mobs, you need to have a constant external dendro source. For example nahida's skill cannot be refreshed mid urst with the next wave which makes the synergy not ideal. Even with all these caveats, I just really love to have him on the team. Also he has a resurgence now with Furina if you have her. But still double off field dendro is recommended. With how young your account is, this might mean collei and dendro traveler. Still good! Don't let people rain on your parade. If you put enough love in any character they will carry you through the game. And there's more to Genshin than just the abyss
I love Itto in all regards, but my geo team is mostly constrained to the abyss since Geo's lack of stand-out reactions also makes it remarkably consistent against pretty much all enemy types.
I never saw someone actively regretting yoimiya , I think one of the reasons is that shes a very simple 5 star , her kit is not overly complicated and she’s the queen of single target her damage is not god level but it’s pretty damn good , for non meta players like me yoimiyas an amazing character and it pains me when meta players say she’s a bad character because she doesn’t hold up to other pyro units ( hu Tao ) I pulled yoi when I started playing and never had any regret ( the only I do regret is ganyu, it’s so difficult to play with her ,even melt )
I'm somewhat of a meta player and even though I have a decked out C1/R1 Hu Tao, Yoimiya (+Yelan/Yunjin/Zhongli) is still my go to for bosses and even abyss.
People who regret pulling a character based on comparing their performance to the "ideal" version of said character are desperately in need of a reality check. Also, who the hell thinks that Hu Tao or Childe are bad due to their kits???????????
They don't have bad kits but are difficult to use and most people play the game casually. I personally love Childe but can't think of getting Hu Tao and managing her inputs at high ping.
@@deepakrajendra8019 the only problem I had with Hu Tao before I got her C1 was doing cancels on mobile. Her actual inputs are not harder then dragonstrike
Their kits aren't BAD, they're very good. Just not for everyone. That's ok. But as Rath mentioned, lots of people just hate Childe (and probably Tao and others as well) without actually learning how to use him.
Genshin players are braindead and dont like technical characters like childe or klee. And cant manage hp like hutao. For me personally though I find hutao charge spam boring and i hate vape teams.
I will never regret pulling for itto. I got him since his very first banner and he's been carrying me in the abyss ever since. Also i probably one of the minority that genuinely love using geo since to me it's the gigachad element lol. No thought head empty unga bunga element with useless reaction but still reliable
I'm happy Knowing that my girl Nilou is not here, I see a lot of negative feedbacks about her kit and how restricted it is. Nilou Bloom teams are becoming stronger each day. We expected a lot of Dendro Characters in the future and Fontaine is coming so more Hydros is approaching like the Hydro Archon. Can't wait
Probably because Nilou is a niche character so most people won't be that inclined to pull. But for those who appreciate her playstyle and really pulled for her, they're absolutely gonna like her.
i don't regret klee solely because she carried me through early game (1.0 and further) so i'm thankful to her. now she really struggles but before hu tao came out she was first to second dps in game probably... upd: the character i really really regret is nilou and maybe xiao. xiao was fun when he came out but now his gameplay just feels annoying. and nilou is... well, nilou. not really useful except bloom teams and i don't have kokomi or yaoyao yet to make a functional bloom team. i really wish that bountiful cores worked with every team comp not just bloom...
Never regretted wanderer it's easy to group enemies like vishaps if you repeatedly move against their model and you'll automatically gain some height and they'll group under you easy to do normal attack dmg Just play who you want and discover the ways you can do it optimally Most characters can be worked around
It's a bit challenging to play him in the Sumeru area tho, especially if you accidentally hover too high and he doesn't want to hit anything right under him. But other than that yeah, I agree with you
He s very strict and his grouping capabilities are very low. You need Faruzan because that's his BiS support and it would be such a waste to not use her. You also need another pyro for passive buffs and maybe hydro for duration of elemental skill increased. Even tho there are many teams that work great for him and he is very fun to play, he still remains a strict character
This is such a great video! I really love infographics and statistics is general. It was refreshing to see "regret list" for someone who have C6 Cocogoat as favorite DPS:)
Childe's story quest really endeared me to his character and I made up my mind right then I had to get him. But at the same time, I hated bow weapons and avoided those chars. That had to change. I got Fischl and Diona. I got Venti. I learned that charged shots weren't the be-all and started enjoying bows, and by the time Childe came, I was ready! Then I learned why Childe's playstyle is the way it is, and it's my favourite! Basically, Childe changed my Genshin life 😎
As a day 1 player who never had a real dps back then, my team was full of support and not a single dps, Klee was my savior and always placed a special place in my team. Newer players don’t realize how valuable Klee back then ( Of course I didn’t have diluc)
Klee literally was the first limited dps and I got her for that reason. Kind of regret it now but in the first few months she helped a lot. Until I got cryo amber
I got Childe on a whim in 10 wishes trying to get a four star in one of his rerun banners. I don't like his personality so I was hoping to actually lose 50/50 when I saw the gold streak across my screen. HOWEVER, he is SUPER fun to play. The range of teams you can put him in, the sheer amounts of numbers you see on screen and the riptide spreading from enemy to enemy is great to witness. My favourite elements are Geo and Anemo. They're similar yet so different. One is super limited and the other is super versatile but I find them both great! My thoughts behind why someone would not like Raiden and Eula is either because of their personality or because they're sometimes too good. Eg. You don't really get to use their bursts outside of abyss. With Raiden, once you use the burst most overworld enemies get one shot and you don't have anything to hit to build back the energy. With Eula, once you cast the burst... The enemies tend to die before you stack it up or they dodge it. IF you don't like Raiden's usual team's I would suggest looking into full EM Raiden in Hyperbloom teams.
I've said this before, but something that'd really help increase Cyno's popularity, along with many other characters, is making it so that bursts/skills with long duration effects (basically anything that changes how normal attacks work) do NOT immediately end when you switch them out. Ofc the duration's time can still count down, e.g say you use Xiao's burst, attack for 3 seconds, then quickly switch to someone else to quickly use their skill/burst and that this takes about 2 seconds, given that his burst has a 15 second duration, when you switch back to him he'll have 10 seconds of burst time left. This way all characters with these sorts of abilities don't suddenly become super op, but not only will your overall damage no longer decrease if you switch, but it'll actually increase damage + allow you to apply other effects too.
I've said it once and I'll keep saying it. I have and will never regret getting cyno he's an amazing unit, moment he was released everyone instantly started comparing him to others like keqing aggravate when his most optimal team is quickbloom. I won't lie he's horrible in the overworld and well that could be said about any burst dependent character, but the abyss has been a breeze for me. My main team is cyno, yelan, dmc and zhongli/fischl( if I don't need shield)
I actually just started to learn about Childes gameplay after getting him on his first rerun. Since I am ftp I said to myself "I don't need Ayato, I can play those teams with Childe instead" because I don't really like Ayato, and boy was I right, he is so fun to play
Funny enough, I don't regret pulling for Cyno or his weapon one bit. I just stopped using him on an aggravate comp. I love using him as a hyperbloom driver, because unlike Itto and Xiao (I main the three and unironically adore them, I'm not roasting) you can do the fun meta reactions while still getting that feral unga bunga serotonin gameplay. Cyno/Nahida/Kuki/XQ is my go-to abyss team now. True, most of the big dmg doesn't come FROM Cyno, but you can say the same about my c0 Raiden on national team. It's a team effort that kills everything anyway so I don't give a shit. I do hope he gets a dendro Xingqiu for aggravate tho (Kaveh please, you're my only hope) Now about Hu Tao, I'm one of the ones who doesn't like her at c0, and it's 100% the jump cancel. It's so boring and clunky to me. I'm pulling for her c1 on my f2p account because I want to have fun with her so badly, and I decided I'm not pulling her on my main unless I have enough primos to get her twice on the same banner. And since I don't have Yelan on main yet and I need her badly, that's not gonna be on this rerun. I'll never regret pulling for Venti (my top favorite character personality and lore wise) either since I have him atk/anemo/crit DPS/sub-DPS built for fun like an animal and I can use him in different situations (floors 9-10, mob domains, easy exploration/farming) and let a stacked full EM Kazuha do his job in meta situations, but I do regret pulling for his c2 for the anemo shred now that Faruzan exists...
Yoimiya was a character I never expected to fall in love. After blowing up my guaranteed pity, I was devastated for having her in my acc, considering I already have 2 heavily invested main dps. But boy did that aged well, and now she never comes out of my team. Much like Kazuha. No annoying idles and voicelines, E and go brr, can easily shoot down any bird-like bosses. I'm willing to bet that Yoimiya mains are so proud rn, its not even funny. Yes she has some flaws here and there, but she is far from being a regrettable character
Same I got her by accident because of my gâcha addiction. I didn’t care less about Yoimiya at first because I had Hutao like why would I need to build another weaker pyro main dps? . One day, I decided to build her just for fun. Now, I play with Yoimiya more often than my Hu tao and Yoimiya is like one of my favorite characters in the game to this day😂
When I pulled Xiao and the Jade Winged during the first lantern festival, I knew I was going to be a Xiao main. Took a lot of effort to only decently equip him, got 2 artifacts that need replacing badly. But even with his bad artifacts, he's been enough to brute force my way through most of the game. I love using Childe. I think people are too concerned with having a 5* bow on him, and should really try using the Viridescent Hunt. The vortex it creates sucks enemies in, and even as you knock them back in your melee stance, it brings them back in. Childe flourishes when there are multiple enemies, hitting multiple enemies and triggering critical hits to trigger the passive which then hits multiple enemies thus triggering more hits and more passives. You do need around 75% crit rate, and around 150%+ crit dmg, and then enjoy the water show.
Childe is probably the most fun 5 star to play in this game, he seems very technical which I am a fan of. Unlike someone like ayato who I don't find too fun, seeing as you can just hold a button down. I'll probably pull for childe whenever he comes back
true, he was pretty decent for me (and this is coming from someone who hates childe) but i can get why people don't like his skill cd, it's kinda annoying. esp if you just don't like childe, then i can get why a lot of people regret pulling for him.
OMG I LOVE playing with Cyno. That #1 placinig shocked me. Of course, I'm a "play for fun" kind of person, and not a "let's see how much damage we can get them to do". I mean, he and Kaeya are my main DPS characters. LOL. I also have Wanderer on my team. Oh well, I still enjoy playing them. :)
Every time I see Klee make these lists I think of my little cousin, who *only* mains Klee and has since her release. I also feel bad because Klee is such a cute character. I like doing co-op with my cousin and getting to hear them both go, "Da da daa~!"
Hehe. I got Klee during her last banner because I already owned Albedo since his first banner. So I wanted to learn more about the character Klee, her brother by proxy and hopefully about Alice too. (Yeah I know I could probably look online for all her lore and dialogue but that doesn't feel as organic) When I told people in a Discord I got her, most of them shat on me or laughed at me for pulling on a Klee banner. I already knew her gameplay sucked. I just wanted to get Klee because Klee.
Gameplay isn't even bad or difficult if you play a Kazuha + Bennett team with her. For the 4th spot Xiangling is considered best but I run sunfire Jean for anemo resonance.
i’m probably one of the few people who don’t regret klee. she was my first limited 5 star i ever got back in patch 1.0, and that alone ties nostalgia to her. she reminds me of the time when i was brand new and was excited about playing this new game. also she’s just super cute to run around with!! i actually don’t regret pulling anyone. at the time of pulling i thought that was what was best for me. it felt right to pull/build them at the time, and i see that as just different stages/phases in my genshin journey :)
Childe was my first 5* and I pulled for him fully intending for him to sit in my teapot, because my experience with bow characters was limited to Amber. To date he’s still my strongest character, and I have never regretted him once ❤
Accidently got Childe while going for Rosaria when she first came out and I regretted it at first until I decided to build him and use him and now I'm super glad I got Childe use him on my first side to 36 star abyss as well as the overworld.
Childe's not bad. You're just bad at Childe, just like my footage.
I got Childe and he is the most entertaining character to play
Childe is just built different. I got him to put him in my teapot-. Also ittos voice lines tend to make people pull cause they are so good. I don’t blame them-
As a childe main, you are so right.
Yeah Childe is great but absolutely no one knew how to play him at first and unfortunately that reputation stuck
I have no regrets rolling on Childe.
Correction: Nobody regrets pulling Yoimiya because the only people diehard enough to pull her instead of the archon(s) must love her to bits.
as a yoimiya main i 100% agree lol
Yeah, that's absolutely the case.
As someone who got her trying to get Sayu by mistake when I was still a low AR player, honestly I regret her... I wish I knew how pity worked because I know a lot of people want her and I'm over here using her as a bench warmer 😭
@@marqkc bruh, if you have fischl then use her and yoimiya. As soon as you get to inazuma, ascend her by fighting tge pyro hypostatis
@@foxfm1987ult I already have her leveled up actually, I have Fischl leveled up but don't have a set or talents for her. I just don't like Yoimiya's gameplay...
It’s kinda insane how irrationaly angry I get when people trash on Tartagles without knowing how he works
It's because he doesn't have tits
It's fine to not like Tartar sauce but a portion of his criticisms are just... Cooldown. Which I mean is valid if that playstyle isn't for you, but also don't stay in melee mode for 20+ seconds then complain he sucks.
@@neko4069 I think not liking him for his character is perfectly Fine. He is a villain after all. (I still love his personality tho)
Most casuals just don't want to learn a character's unique mechanics..
when u realize all the characters on the list are fairly popular so the non popular characters or characters many people didnt pull dont even get to be on the list.
I know so many people who just love yoimiya yae or shenhe that it really doesn’t matter how strong they are since people were pulling them not for their strength to begin with
Yelan/Kazuha are both popular and pulled alot but they are the only ones that are not mentioned in the most regret graph. Just shows how good and easy to play these two characters are
@fbiopenup2085 Nilou is niche but also completely broken in her niche
What about ayaka. She is kinda popular and she isnt on the list

Never regretted pulling for Childe. He's one of the most fun and satisfying characters to play!!!
I didn't get Venti and I took one look at Klee and went 'nah' so I got Childe as my first ever exclusive character. He was great.
true underrated character
He was my second 5* and i honestly hated him, its been almost a year since i got him and i finally JUST rebuilt him and learned his rotations. I see now why he is still one of the top used characters in abyss, hes fun, satisfying, and so strong.
I still don't get what this video is saying about him lol
Even worse, on mobile device, jump cancel is arguably kinda hard to execute
and then people ask why we didn't get harder end game content, like this exactly people don't want to learn newer skills or do harder stuff in the game, which is fair i dont mind it but then also complain about it is what gets to me
also, without a proper shielder, managing her low hp can be stressful
I couldn't get him in that rerun xD but I finally got him in November, the wait was worth it! He is such an awesome character ❤️
YES SAME HeRE
Im sorry but i do not understand whats the problem with his gameplay
Like they really forgot that he has 2 weapons 💀
As one of the biggest Itto mains of all time/ Mono Geo enthusiast I can honestly really understand people not loving him if you don't get everything he needs to be successful
The thing I don't get is when he says "average dmg"
If you get all he needs he becomes top tier dmg dealer
@@contreniun8619 as a c6 itto player myself, well IMO when he said average dmg is because itto cannot do those huge numbers dmg since there's no reaction that buffs geo dmg
but his rotation, utility and consistency is no doubt in the top ones. and man when u hit with that big club at c6 it feels so fkg great and satisfying
I loved his personality and really wanted a big geo dmg dealer at the time, pulling for him was a no brainer. Then I got THREE Ittos in less than 60 pulls. He is now in my top 3 favorite characters and he is part of one of my best teams xD
nah man, the issue is that hes SO FUCKING BORING

I have him with Zhongli, Nahida and Kuki usually. Or my C6 Yanfei in replacement for Kuki. By the time everyone's e's are cast, he just needs 8 seconds on field for me and it's magic.

True, true. And once you get his passive, get a hell of a lot easier since you can use his burst to detonate his riptide. Also, taking out one enemy with it detonates that enemy for AOE.

But yeah, I guess to each their own. I'm just a yoi simp, is all. 🤣
Tartag was a lesson in it of himself. I had to literally learn him so there's a ton of reasons why he is among my faves.

I am seeing a lot of people comparing Alhiethem and childe because of their somewhat complicated gameplay. I like how these 2 are the only dual weilding characters.
The funny thing is, dual wielding itself is complicated and rather useless RL, but when done correctly, it works
Well, all dual wield techniques use smaller and lighter weapon on off-hand, and it is used to parry/defense rather than attacking.

A lot of what happened to Cyno was because people said his best team would be Aggrevate, when I believe it's actually Quickbloom or Hyperbloom depending on the scenario.
I personally don't have any issues with Cyno himself besides the fact we don't have enough characters with long uptime.
He is not versatile at all, but indeed have one strongest team. His other teams are weaker than analogues.

I never saw someone actively regretting yoimiya , I think one of the reasons is that shes a very simple 5 star , her kit is not overly complicated and she’s the queen of single target her damage is not god level but it’s pretty damn good , for non meta players like me yoimiyas an amazing character and it pains me when meta players say she’s a bad character because she doesn’t hold up to other pyro units ( hu Tao )
I pulled yoi when I started playing and never had any regret ( the only I do regret is ganyu, it’s so difficult to play with her ,even melt )
I'm somewhat of a meta player and even though I have a decked out C1/R1 Hu Tao, Yoimiya (+Yelan/Yunjin/Zhongli) is still my go to for bosses and even abyss.
Kinda the same because I regret pulling for Ganyu more than Yoimiya xD
People who regret pulling a character based on comparing their performance to the "ideal" version of said character are desperately in need of a reality check.
Also, who the hell thinks that Hu Tao or Childe are bad due to their kits???????????
Hu tao and Childe require thinking and genshin is full of casuals that overvalue simple to play characters like zhongli.
She's not on here probably because not many people pulled for her in the first place
nilou is getting another buff with kaveh being around the corner with his kit seeming to be focused on bloom reaction

She's straight forward
i don't regret klee solely because she carried me through early game (1.0 and further) so i'm thankful to her. now she really struggles but before hu tao came out she was first to second dps in game probably...
upd: the character i really really regret is nilou and maybe xiao. xiao was fun when he came out but now his gameplay just feels annoying. and nilou is... well, nilou. not really useful except bloom teams and i don't have kokomi or yaoyao yet to make a functional bloom team. i really wish that bountiful cores worked with every team comp not just bloom...
Never regretted wanderer
it's easy to group enemies like vishaps if you repeatedly move against their model and you'll automatically gain some height and they'll group under you
easy to do normal attack dmg
Just play who you want and discover the ways you can do it optimally
Most characters can be worked around
Except amber 💀
It's a bit challenging to play him in the Sumeru area tho, especially if you accidentally hover too high and he doesn't want to hit anything right under him. But other than that yeah, I agree with you
I also just love his mobility, him and Kazuha make discovering new areas and getting to oculi so much easier
I'm sad I lost the 50/50 on him ahh. But at least I got Alhaitham. Wanderer I will get you next time...

Y’all telling me you all regret Klee when I put my blood sweat and tears into saving only to loose my 50/50
As a day 1 player who never had a real dps back then, my team was full of support and not a single dps, Klee was my savior and always placed a special place in my team.
That happened to me too getting Childe when going for Rosaria.
My main team is cyno, yelan, dmc and zhongli/fischl( if I don't need shield)
yeah I noticed it too, he works amazing with a mixture of hyperboom and aggravate, chingqiu, shinobu and a dendro are my go to team
this video is so fun LMAO
love your “”storytelling”” voice
plus the editing
As a Klee main who does not play optimally, I love her and will never regret her cause she’s my day one
I do hope he gets a dendro Xingqiu for aggravate tho (Kaveh please, you're my only hope)
Now about Hu Tao, I'm one of the ones who doesn't like her at c0, and it's 100% the jump cancel.
Now, I play with Yoimiya more often than my Hu tao and Yoimiya is like one of my favorite characters in the game to this day😂
Lol some of her voicelines are cringe...ever have a goldfish as a pet? Their really cuuuuute....ahhhhh
@@mdiaz013184 at least it's not about wine or blade's duty 🙄
Eula... idc what they say, but I NEED YOU!
True I love Klee but I still will never regret her but I can definitely see why people would regret her
Klee Main rare sight. She do be a whale Character to actually shine.
I loved pulling for Cyno, he's one of my favorite characters
Childe is probably the most fun 5 star to play in this game, he seems very technical which I am a fan of. Unlike someone like ayato who I don't find too fun, seeing as you can just hold a button down. I'll probably pull for childe whenever he comes back
The feeling of exploding mobs with riptides
true, he was pretty decent for me (and this is coming from someone who hates childe) but i can get why people don't like his skill cd, it's kinda annoying. esp if you just don't like childe, then i can get why a lot of people regret pulling for him.

Wanderer is literally my personal favorite, not my main but dam he makes the game 100x more fun to travel
(Yeah I know I could probably look online for all her lore and dialogue but that doesn't feel as organic)
When I told people in a Discord I got her, most of them shat on me or laughed at me for pulling on a Klee banner.
7:23 ah yes, my favourite character, *Xaio*
Accidently got Childe while going for Rosaria when she first came out and I regretted it at first until I decided to build him and use him and now I'm super glad I got Childe use him on my first side to 36 star abyss as well as the overworld.
