My cousin mentioned the vegus nerve last week. I might try to incorporate this into my morning routine. Right now I'm doing light yoga and mindfulness meditation from a book called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels and it's been helping.
Dear Joelle, I love your videos! I had a hip labrum surgery 3 months ago, and since then I've lost the ability to externally rotate my hip (which is funny because before the surgery I had the opposite problem...). Do you have any *gentle* yoga routines I can do that might gradually improve my external rotation? I'm doing a lot of physical therapy but it has been quite useless for this particular problem so far
So glad you enjoy them! External hip rotation is a great thing for so many of us (actually for most of us) to work on. I'll think about maybe a practice specifically for that, but in the meantime, this class here works on hip mobility and is mostly done seated, so you can check out the movements and see how they feel to you: ruclips.net/video/duqn0IffaCE/видео.html
I sure do! If you search "yoga with Joelle insomnia" on RUclips you should find a few, and here's my personal favorite to get you started: ruclips.net/video/sKfRZ0JQgwE/видео.html
Thank you so much! I have afib, and an online group recommended stimulating the vagus nerve during an afib event to put the heart back in sinus rhythm. You are so very generous with your knowledge! 🙏 ♥

Hi Joelle,
Can you please do a yoga video for tight lats? Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestion! Try the Rhomboid pain one, it should help :)
