I'm a Hindu. The vagus nerve stimulation from humming is exactly what we do with "Om" To calm the mind before focusing on prayer or work. Love the video ❤
Om bhur bhuva suvaha Tat savitur varenyam... I learned a low, slow, calming melody line for the Gayatri mantra in South India in 1988. The other melody, sung and heard more often in North India and Nepal doesn't work the same for me. Peace, happiness, to all beings everywhere.

I come from a family that has neglected serious mental health issues like this for 3 generations (that I have met). It is interesting to see how each mother in my family has dealt with anxiety. Each generation has improved it, but not fully addressed the anxiety response itself. My grandma has a body full of disease mostly due to chronic stress, my mother following in her footsteps at age 60. Im 24 and I refuse to develop these health issues, and I am determined to address this anxiety and save my body from a lifetime of chronic stress. It’s possible people!!
THANK YOU!!! I struggle with complex PTSD and it's so hard to calm myself down without help. These techniques really helped and I can use them throughout the day when I feel the stress building or the paranoid anxiety. To anyone out there struggling with PTSD of any kind I feel your pain and I understand your struggle. You are not alone even though your brain may tell you otherwise.
Its a continuous struggle daily - I try different techniques and coming back to my breath - usually helps me the most. Ideally, the more and more we practice these techniques, our brain, as it is neuroplastic, should adapt and get the message that we are safe and it should lower the amount of times it triggers these alarms! Stay strong everyone!
It's tough .. really tough. With meditation saying "I am not the body, I am not even this mind. " Helps to calm me and put experience into perspective.
Psilocybin saved my life. I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in September. I have zero cravings. This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment.
Psychedelics definitely have potential to deal with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, I would like to give them a try but haven't found any legit grower to get it.
The Trips I've been having have really helped me a lot,I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well
This is a great reminder that the body is not the medium for anxiety’s messages, it is a partner in generating and sustaining anxiety. Those of us with anxiety disorders can’t always “think away” anxiety because our bodies are doing their own, separate thing while it’s happening. And, as he mentions, it’s not about never feeling anxious (or angry, another expression of anxiety), which everyone does, it’s about recovering quickly to a calm state when you do.
Aside from the valuable information given in this video, can we just take a moment to acknowledge his speaking/presentation skills? Wow! So articulate, engaging, relatable. I could go on. This is the voice and body language of a great teacher. Not sure if this was a one man job or not, but this video is excellent and I intend to share it. Thank you so much for sharing it with us! Blessings on your future endeavors Lucas!
Wow. Thank you so much for this, Lucas. I've been researching ways to help manage my complex-PTSD for over 4 years now. It's a living hell - nightmares, panic attacks, anxiety, depression - the whole lot. I have tried EMDR, EFT, 7 different medications, meditation apps, reiki/massage, CBT, talking therapy... and yet I have never seen or found mention of the yogic techniques you present. I've literally just gone through the exercises as you talked me through them and, for the first time in 5 years, I've managed to get my heart rate back down and I genuinely feel calm. My blood pressure is consistently through the roof from the panic attacks and stress response...I haven't seen it go down to a normal level the whole time I've had c-PTSD. It's insane what just happened there. I can't describe how great that feels. It feels like a miracle. I feel better in my body right now, and it gives me hope that I'll still be able to get better long term. Thank you so much.
I felt my heart racing, felt my palpitations going wild, felt my body shaking and stressing…did just the first exercise you showed, my body instantly relaxed! Thank you so much!!!!
I’m constantly wired but tired. Ear massage immediately helped me relax to the point I started laughing. Can’t believe I never thought about it before. Thanks man!
It gave me a coughing fit LOL, I am away to try it again !.... I just did it, no coughing this time, but like you a small laugh came out, this is wild. Thanks for sharing that.
Yes! Stop listening to the loud authoritative voice on TV. The news and most reporters used to be an independent, objective source of important information. Now most just exist to sell pharmaceuticals…
I work in a trauma ER and ICU and frequently get heart palpitations just sitting on my couch watching Netflix…. This is definitely something I’m going to try so thank you!!!!!! ❤
Look into Cordyceps Mushroom Powder. It fixed my afib and heart palpitations. It has Adenosine in it. It fixed my wifes afib. I have several people taking it.
I had heart palpitations from just sitting and using mu computer. Nothing stressful. They went away after taking magnesium supplements and exercising again (i took a break for awhile). Magnesium seemed to really helped in a very noticeable way.
Wow dude this video was recommended to me out of nowhere. Just doing one set of each helped more than any techniques any therapist has ever given me. It’s so far past general anxiety with me. I have constant panic attacks. At least twice a day. No medication. I’ve been in and out of the hospital when it gets unbearable. It’s a living hell. So any little bit helps. Thank you
I'm praying for healing for you. In December my anxiety reached its peak and I ended up in the hospital with heart palpitations from the intense stress. Since you're not on medication, I'd recommend Magnesium glycinate, Magnesium threonate, Inositol powder, and CBD. Journaling, Meditating, and Cold Showers have gone a long way for me as well. Wishing you the best my friend, you're not alone!!
So sorry to hear it. I can sort of relate. I'm seeing a doctor Wednesday to figure this shit out, as I'm experiencing what may be pericarditis, or bad anxiety that also may be causing me panic attacks, that is if it isn't heart issue related. Im almost 40, so hard to say. But, it is a living hell at times smh. I was sitting in my car at a stoplight and suddenly felt like i was going to pass out and it was very scary to feel the body going out of my control. I hope we can all find relief!
I hope you’re doing better than you were. Have you ever tried any of these supplements: ashwaghanda, l- theanine, magnesium. The 3 best anxiety supplements I’ve used.
I've experienced all the above & more. Along with clean diet, no refined carbs, walking outdoors, etc. I still need MEDS to keep those worst symptoms & related ER visits at bay. It's worth it. I'm 58. Get an empathetic doctor. & I've been taking magnesium daily for 20 years. Recently into Reishi tea (grind dried slices in coffee grinder) & sauteed Lion's Mane mushrooms. Also eat grass -fed beef liver 1x week. All that helps too 😌 & cool or cold showers as tparker mentions above. Took one yesterday as when sleep deprived I run hot. Instant relief.
This is a good way to manage your anxiety and get stuck living with it. I been stuck watching videos like this for a long time, don't ignore, push away, or trick your brain it's a losing game and your showing and confirming your brain that there is fear. You must face the fear, feel it and show it that you are in control and there is nothing to fear. You have to show the brain that there is nothing to fear because there isn't. Repeat over and over and you'll see that your fears of anxiety will diminish and go away in time. STOP running away and doing these silly coping mechanisms.
Literally just saved me! I was trembling and thinking about like everything. I was anxious amd depressed now I am calm thinking logically. Oh my God thank you so much.. I am subscribing right now!

Thank you so much for this 👍☺️ My husband is battling Stage 3 throat cancer. I'm having trouble sleeping- heart racing & night demons- worrying about him and his treatment plus transport to and from the hospital (at worst an hours round trip) plus parking which is a nightmare at the hospital. This has so helped me and it's early days. Thank you x
Oh...that must be a great challenge! I will pray for you and your hubby. This breathing practice should hep you. Stay positive and ask your husband to repeat in his mind that he is getting healed with every breath. Hypnosis can be very powerful tool in this, please ask the doctors to find a medical hypnotherapist. God Bless 🙏

Hello, please watch this video and believe what is being revealed. Let your husband try this along with his other treatment, there is no harm in it. I saw it a couple of days after reading your comment and knew that this would help you. God bless , I pray for you! 🙏🥰
I am an executive business coach and am sending this video to all my clients. You are perfectly clear and fully engaging. Thank you for taking such good care of us. My best, Natalie
Thank you for this😊 let’s normalize regulating our nervous system and taking care of ourselves without worrying about other people seeing us do so. BE the example💫
This is the best coment. Pretending we are OK infront of people and not taking care of our emotions is disregulating our nervous system, they should teach this in schools
It worked! Thank you! I clicked on this video because I was in the middle of an anxiety attack and tried the techniques as you were doing them. The humming helped tremendously and immediately, the neck lock helped as well. I couldn't really tell if the ear technique worked because the first two had already calmed me down. Thank you again! I will be using these techniques from now on.
I actually suffered severe depression and anxiety for over 8 years due to work stress and other life issues which led to my addiction to alcohol. Not until I came across psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 4 years clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here. and mushrooms are one of the most amazing things on this planet i wish people would all realize. they could solve a lot of problems, more than just mental treatments, environmental clean up; the possibilities are endless with fungus.
Psychedelics/psilocybin made me quit a lot of bad habits and gave me a more positive outlook on life and the appreciation for other people. The day after one trip I came out as a better me, nothing can compare, I owe it to psychedelics, it cannot be described in words.
I can’t thank you enough 🙏 these practices are so soothing for my nervous system especially the ear massage. I’m a preschool teacher and the stress has really been getting to me, I found your video at the perfect time so thank you Lucas!
When I was a child I used to modulate my humming with not just frequency, but tempo to clam myself and to sleep. As a baby I almost died and sadly I spent my first 3 months in a hospital. My mother said long ago, that I started humming in the hospital, that humming was always a part of my bedtime routine. Humming has always helped calm myself regardless if I was in physical, mental, or emotional destress. Though I knew well enough when I was young to hum even when I was in a great mood too. This is all true to this day 53 years later. Though I must add that I don't need to hum as much as I needed in my youth, as I am better able to dance through my emotions more gracefully. These days I have to make a point to hum, and that when I do put effort into it, that I defiantly feel I am resonating higher. As my life transforms, so does the reason I hum.
Andy HarperArbo I almost died before I was born, my twin did not survive. I find it interesting that you, as well, had such a trauma as a baby. I’ve always felt like something happened, like a NDE, but I just can’t put my finger on it. I’m curious if you have felt the same? I do believe I had TBI that went unknown. Just curious, I’ve always been “haunted” by the car accident my mom had just before I was born.
BzMama , There are many things in this life that a lot of us experience that we cannot explain . I know I have experienced things that I wonder about and why the purpose of it and spent too many years overthinking it and suffering from the memories. I am now in my mid 70s and I realize that if I had had some counseling I would not have had to relive the trauma or at least for so long but that I would’ve found a healing and let the past be in the past and thank God for the good times in my life and for the people around me that love me . I pray that you can move on and if you feel you need to speak to someone to get a better understanding and then move on then I pray that you’ll find someone that can help you to let go and move on in your life . ❤
I have a hiatal hernia which causes pressure on my vagus nerve producing sympathetic symptoms like anxiety, high blood pressure, and shortness of breath. I just tried your techniques and they helped me immediately. Thank you so very much.
I actually had a vagus nerve attack from my stomach to my neck and jaw. I thought it was a heart attack it hurt so bad. After an ER trip I was told to go to my heart doctor I do have heart issues. My heart Dr had previously told me I had a blocked artery, they went in and checked. Low and behold the artery that feeds the left side of my body, the ones that come out the top of the heart, well it grew on the left side wrapped around behind and then goes up. A miracle!! He told me to go to my stomach Dr who found a precancerous polyp, hpilori, and some kind of metaplasia. He removed the polyp and three years later I was due for my next scope. Everything was gone!! Another miracle! I do have spinal problems and one is facet syndrome. Misplaced pain. I can itch my toe and it hurts in my shoulder. I don’t know if that’s what caused the initial vagus reaction but I thank God it happened. A sequence of events that saved my life. I still have purpose thank you Jesus.
I cannot say how thankful I am. My therapist suggested I look into this because I was struggling to regulate my anxiety. And this video was SO incredible at explaining it and the exercises. THANK YOU.
Ok - that was amazing! Short version of this story: I got up this: morning but wasn’t “awake” - with a raging headache, so stressed out and so exhausted that I was just going to go back to bed, I decided to try the “embarrassing” humming sound and it worked!!!! My headache evaporated! My stress disappeared! And My exhaustion was gone! I felt energy run through my limbs. That was incredible! I’m convinced. You have a new subscriber. Thank you - I now have the energy to fix Thanksgiving dinner for 75 people. Did I mentioned that was incredible?! 😃
I’ve been dealing with crazy nausea when anxiety hits. I can hardly take tests even when I know the material extremely well, and I can’t even sit through church. I’m hoping these techniques help me and thank you for your kindness in making this video!
I came to yoga for PTSD. I was especially drawn to the rhythmic breathing of ashtanga, I like to say it saved my life. Well done, thanks for presenting it in way that is useful and interesting! As a teacher and practitioner, I approve this message! 👍👍
OMG!! This is SPOT-ON!! The air flows through my right nostril much more freely!! No wonder at all, since I seem to be stuck in the sympathetic state mostly these days!
The humming exercise helped alot. I've been having chest pains so it hurts to take deep breaths and hold them in. Thanks so much for these tips, you're a life saver. 🙂
Thank you so much! I practiced some of these techniques while on a delayed flight unable to leave the plane. I could feel the panic coming on and I ran through the breathing and managed to get through it. I'm so pleased I watched this a month ago, I had no idea I'd be using it in such a situation. 🙏

Wow, have been doing the deep breathing with extended diaphragm since I learned it in martial Arts 40 years ago. Had no idea why it worked so well until now, hearing that the Vagus nerve is stimulated/affected by this breathing is fascinating! Thank you!
Bhramari felt so calming, had a panic episode months ago and still recovering, left medication 4 months ago but still feeling low. Thank you, definitely sharing ❤
Love this! Deal with PTSD only things I’ve found help has been meditation, cold showers and breathing exercises. Can’t wait to add this into my practise. Thank you.
Thank you for this. Had a panic attack for the first time today and still calming down from it hours later but deep breathing exercises helped me a lot and now this video was so helpful because its the first time I see these techniques.
This was PHENOMENAL. I take yoga regularly and took the course from Andre Weill on breather techniques but this is so effective. Thanks for bringing this to us Keep up the great work that you do. Your guidance is so productive in our lives, thanks you
Oh my! This works! Something made me so angry before watching this video. I’m going to do these everyday. I work a high stress job and my extended family is a delight to deal with. These exercises have really helped!!!!
Hello Lucas! I'm very pleased that I randomly fell on your video. I'm an ENT doctor and I found all these techniques very interesting. Especially about the Bramari, I'll suggest it to my patients, who have chronic rhinosinusitis. This chronic inflammation provokes the concentration of nitric acid inside the cavities. In addition, there's a poor ventilation of the cavities, and so these conditions create a vicious circle. Thanks again for the tips! Stay safe and healthy!
To add a possibility to the CAUSES of rhinosinusitis, please look into Mast Cell disorders, Lectins, Histamine and Salicilate Intolerances. After 6 years of plugged sinuses, I used the Blood Type Diet app (Eat right for Your Type) by Peter D'Adamo and TOTALLY CLEARED MY SINUSES! Why? Coconut, Tapioca, Cassava and other foods are avoid Lectins for My blood type! Being dairy and gluten free, I had switched to consuming more of them. They are hidden in many foods also. Mast Cell people say if antihistamines are needed more than 3x in 1 YEAR, then look into a Mast Cell Disorder of some level. I DO agree that if one DOES get stuffed up as I do when I eat these food items, these yoga techniques DO WORK .
@@amurphful I think he said yes it is! I know my daughter suffered with stress and autoimmune disease and hooked her up to a computer and did 3 cycles of yoga breath and after three cycles of breathing into the count of four and exhaling to the count of six the whole screen turned green because all the systems in our bodies relax if we do yoga breath.. I know thats not your exact question but he did say this was science based…
Would you mind explaining the correlation of Chronic inflammation, and concentration of nitric acid in your cavities and how it correlates with anxiety? Am I understanding correctly? Thank you for your explanation.
This was the first time I watched a video from you and honestly I love the way you share your knowledge, the way you manage and organize the video and how you talk about your topic. Really interesting and helpful video. Thank you Lucas !
Thank you Lucas! Yes, that's why I teach everyone to sing like an opera singer, even if just for fun and for a few minutes or even seconds a day! It stimulates the entire vagus nerve everywhere in the body, because the body is holistically stimulated. Great video.
My vagus nerve was affected by my poor gut health. I finally have an answer to why I feel unnecessarily uncomfortable and anxious. It makes me feel SOO much better knowing why I feel this way and how to treat it
@@djlupe8 Gut health strongly affects inflammation of your vagus. I felt almost completely normal after a few weeks of not eating junk foods and working out, and now after 4 months, it's like that whole ordeal never even happened
We are so lucky that our forefathers really had so much advancement in achieving solace and inner peace that we have now scientific proven for modern people. My family has been doing yoga from my early generations and seeing people getting peace with these yogic exercises is joyful. Thanks brother for sharing such a good video. People can have better understanding of yoga from some good scriptures apart from modern theories😊.
These techniques are well presented and the animations are nice too! Excellent voice. Very very nice. Just as if I was in yoga class. When are you coming to hamburg?
Wow, amazing tips! Thanks a lot. Tests for vagus nerve issues: 1. Put index finger below nose and breathe out through the nose 3 times. Check which nostril the air is flowing through more freely. 2. Check my small tongue (uvula) - if it is deviated to one side. 3. Interoception - close my eyes and check what's going on in my body. "Massage" the vagus nerve: 1. Mmmmmm x 10 times 2. Triangle breathing (4seconds breathe-in, 4seconds hold + close nose with my thumb, index finger and little finger + chin lock, 4seconds breathe-out) x 10 times 3. Ear massage (index finger inside the ear, thumb - on the back) - 5 circles in one direction, 5 circles in the opposite direction x 2 times (at least)
amazing! I enjoyed the ear massage! the Bhramari breathing helped a lot too! i was ruminating over an inconsiderate neighbour and now i don't feel that much anymore. Totally made my day!!!
To the person reading this: THANK YOU for being here and adding value to our world 💖 Hope you have a blessed day filled with joy, happiness, health and love! 💖
This is the most supportive and clear compendium of anxiety reducing techniques I’ve come across on my path through my shadow and the spiritual “void”. Thank you! 🙏🏻🕊
Awesome advice! As a medic for over 30 years, I’ve used vagal stimulation to slow heart rates on patients with supraventricular tachycardia…you must be careful NOT to over stimulate or have a known high vagal tone. I have also responded to folks that are dead on the toilet from straining to have a BM. I have also responded to cardiac arrests from what was described a “a coughing fit” by the family..agin overstimulation of the nerve. Be careful if you have high vagal tone!
we use air pressure first….deep breath and squeeze like a bowel movement next, we will try another breathing technique w a deep breath and pull the knees to the chest and squeeze w arms around the legs and a last resort for manual stimulation due to the possibility of arterial plaque being a possible cause of embolism..carotid massage, We also use the beta blocker Cardizem and Adenosine to correct the supraventricular tacycardias
This is amazing the air was flowing strongly out of my right indicating stress and all I did was the ear massage , felt so good! and now the air flow is coming out strongly out of the left nostril. Amazing! And so quick.
This also helps us with our LYMPH GLANDS CLEAN DRAINING FUNCTION for better health through every day !!! Thanks SO MUCH FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE EFFORTS methods!!!
Thank you for your clear presentation. I like your energy. I work as a psychologist, coach and EFT practitioner and often suggest vagal nerve exercises to my clients. These are an excellent addition.
Deb Dana was a lecturer at the university I attended here in Maine. She taught a trauma class in the school of Social Work while also running her group practice for survivors of - primarily - sexual abuse. From there, she moved to the lecture circuit locally and then nationally. I have always admired her and am in awe of how her teachings have traveled even to the content creator of this video. The last time I attended one of her workshops was about 8 years ago, but everything said in this video is spot on with what Deb teaches in her warm and kind way.
Thank you so much for explaining where the vagus nerve is and ways to calm the body down. I have severe stress response Hyperstimulation, and my whole body is dysregulated. I have seen a professional therapist over the course of 8 months now, and may need to continue with him for another year. I will try these techniques and post an update in a week or so and see if my body can calm down faster! Thank you!!!
So helpful!!!! (Ok, in the event of massive stress, been doing the following amalgamation. block right nostril, breathe through left, close eyes and hold breath for 4 counts, do chin lock and exhale slowly out of left nostril while humming! Repeat. Have no idea if this is technically correct but works for me.)
I don’t know why but I started to feel emotional just knowing some of these techniques sorta worked and then looking at this guys face and sensing his kindness and happy demeanor while having a sorta deep appreciation for pulling me out of my anxiety. Thank you.

My body was stuck in fight/flight mode to a high degree and these techniques and information have been incredibly helpful. His explanations are clear and concise. Thanks 🙏🏻 so very much ❤
So this video popped out of nowhere, after a long anxiety-filled phone call ( and 2 weeks at a new job). I am literally speechless and thankful! its been few nights I didn't sleep well and I was prepared for yet another night of endless imaginary dialogues when opened youtube. And there you were! I tried 2/3 of the techniques and I definitely feel relieved!! Tomorrow I"m trying the yoga Omm sound I never knew was so important. I cannot believe this feels like can finally exhale. thank you so much for this.
I ended up in the ER after 5 hours of vomiting - trapped on the floor near the toilet. *Any* movement brought on more vomiting/ dry heaves. The diagnosis was vagal nerve - all from stress. Thank you for this video.
This is such a great video. To be able to fully express meaning of words and how it all connects without boring your audience is a great quality. Your personality, facial gestures and explaining with your hands and graphics on the screen is what's keeping my attention. I am a yoga instructor and am very informed on anxiety. I recently have learned about stimulating the vagus nerve with the vibration.. like singing or humming, but I never actually connected the fact that the long OHMs during meditation are also doing the same.. people can hear what's good for you and what you should do but it's never usually motivating until someone fully understands the reasons WHY behind it. Thank you so much, I'm definitely subscribing.
These are great. Another one is to use your eyes to look to the upward corner of your eyes for 30 seconds to the right and 30 seconds to the left. Longer if you like. It often will stimulate a deep yawn of relaxation.
I'm paralyzed on my right side and in a wheelchair. I'm so grateful these techniques don't require walking or exercise. The ear thing worked almost instantaneously even though I can only do one ear at a time. Thank you so much.
i love u all - i have depression, anxiety, adhd with alcohol, weed, nicotine, sex, and self-harm issues. but i want you all to know that life is hard for everybody. its hard to live life everyday, to go to work, to feel the constant ache of anxiety in your stomach. you are not alone. life is good. life is beautiful. life is worth it. you can do it, i can do it, we can do it.
Hi Lucas. Thank so much for this. I had singing lessons a few months ago, and i think that i stimulated the vagus nerve in such a way (with breathing and the vibrations of the voice) that i felt so diferent and with this wholesome stressless feeling. It was so good. I didnt know what happened but it was great. I think it was this. I need this reset of the vagus nerve. It made a huge diference. Thank you again, greatings from Portugal
Wonderful point. Explains the peace felt by monks and nuns who sing and chant their prayers. Explains why listening and mentally singing along like with Gregorian is calming. Gives new perspective on chanting the Ommmm. Not attracted by techniques? Join a choir. Or sing to yourself. Best comment I’ve ever read on YT. Thanks and blessings.

With meditation saying "I am not the body,
I am not even this mind.

It’s crazy now that I remember my father used to give me ear massages because I couldn’t fall asleep. It all makes sense now😊

Sounds like you're on the right path... keep going!

All that helps too 😌
& cool or cold showers as tparker mentions above.

Gurl this video changed my life, because I just discovered I have this and this is very helpful
Interesting! Thanks for sharing, Andy!
Glad ur here today! Keep humming and prosper!!

Thank you Alice!
Lucas and Dr. Alice, to your knowledge, is the uvula test or Nostral cycle test based on science?

Tests for vagus nerve issues:
1. Put index finger below nose and breathe out through the nose 3 times. Check which nostril the air is flowing through more freely.
2. Check my small tongue (uvula) - if it is deviated to one side.
3. Interoception - close my eyes and check what's going on in my body.
"Massage" the vagus nerve:
1. Mmmmmm x 10 times
2. Triangle breathing (4seconds breathe-in, 4seconds hold + close nose with my thumb, index finger and little finger + chin lock, 4seconds breathe-out) x 10 times
3. Ear massage (index finger inside the ear, thumb - on the back) - 5 circles in one direction, 5 circles in the opposite direction x 2 times (at least)

I have also responded to cardiac arrests from what was described a “a coughing fit” by the family..agin overstimulation of the nerve. Be careful if you have high vagal tone!

Appreciate the kind words! Hoping you find my videos of any help to you!
Hope it helps, buttery1toast!
This is the second video about the vagus nerve from charming chap that I’ve watched and it has helped me tremendously! My body was stuck in fight/flight mode to a high degree and these techniques and information have been incredibly helpful.
His explanations are clear and concise.
Thanks 🙏🏻 so very much ❤
Thanks AH!
I'm glad ancient Indian yog knowledge is being used by you. Never knew what my forefathers have been doing, is backed by so much science. ☺️❤️
Uiies, sorry to hear. Thanks for sharing your experiences, Geralyn.
How to diagnosed? Pls help
Agree. Great post.
These are great. Another one is to use your eyes to look to the upward corner of your eyes for 30 seconds to the right and 30 seconds to the left. Longer if you like. It often will stimulate a deep yawn of relaxation.
This made me sneeze xD
Wow I did yawn soon after doing that!
@@jessyfenny It has to do with stimulating the Vegas nerve which stimulates the parasympathetic which causes relaxation.
Excellent method. Thank you Hank
That ear massage works like a friggin charm. Thanks so much.
The techniques start at 8:13. You’re welcome.
By far the best I have come across for anxiety! U nailed it. Thanks much...pls keep helping !!
So awesome!! as a certified breathwork practitioner and coach, I study the vagus nerve heavily! So powerful !!
I'm paralyzed on my right side and in a wheelchair. I'm so grateful these techniques don't require walking or exercise. The ear thing worked almost instantaneously even though I can only do one ear at a time. Thank you so much.
It's so inspiring to hear these techniques work for you!
