When I knit/crochet any large project like blankets and sweaters, I love Hobbii’s mega balls! Beautiful colors!
I've never tried the Hobbii Mega Ball collection. I get worried that I'd need another room just to store them... LOL!
That's beautiful yarn, I love Hobbii, can't wait to see what you make with it
Love the first cake in second bag. Also the Macha. Love it. Ohhhh the purple. Also ohhh the reddish purple too. And the last one too. Number 10.
Hello Lyndasadlier I did have a difficult time deciding on which Tea Time to pick!
How fun!!🎉🎉 can’t wait to see what you choose to make.
Gorgeous yarn.. I love the tea time range & the cascata yosemite is so nice 💙🤍🤎..looking forward to seeing what you make ☺️
The casata are my favorite. I love the colors so much. The Tie time is also gorgeous.
Love all the colors and I'm looking forward to seeing what you make!
I have a feeling some of these colours that I don't get a chance to use in the timeframe for the challenge will make an appearance in the Spring for a certain Mood Board theme.
WHAT! Green yarn! Not you Gary! LOL! Truly beautiful yarns! I’m just kidding you because of your love of green! 💗🧶
LOL! You know I have to - with the green!
Love the yarns. They all go well together. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Thanks Julieann - thank you so much for watching the episode.
Can’t wait to see what you are going to create!
The Cascata looks just like a Caron blossom cake.
Yes I agree, they very much do - howeverthe colours are different and I especially like the Yosemite and Inga the best!
Very beautiful yarns, a few I'm interested in also. I'll be excited to see what you create with this loveliness!
Thanks so much! I'm through some projects already and plenty of notes to help with making creative decisions in February.
Beautiful yarn! Gorgeous colors! Great review!
I like the dark and light contrast
Love the mocha, it reminds me of the color of the coffee/cream ratio I love! All of you Cascatas have gray;) I love the tea cakes mostly!
I absolutely do not need any more yarn, but these yarns are so pretty. I love Hobbii yarns and now I am wanting to order some. The Tea Time yarns are my personal favorites.
I'm addicted to working on projects with the Tea Time yarn. It's giving me hours of fun - getting to that next colour to see how it plays out.
Ohhhh beautiful yarn! 😍
Fun to see those yarns,Close up,as I've considered buying some but wondered if they looked as nice in person.
Oh my gosh, the berry cake! 😍
WOW what a great selection of yarny goodness
Hello Lynanne! Thanks for your comment.
Beautiful colour choices! 😍
Beautiful yarns, new yarns for me to try. I really like the friends kid silk and combined it another yarn to make a very warm sweater.
Hi Donna - I agree with the warmth of an added mohair to yarn in a sweater. It also makes the item lighter and can regulate the temperature more easily than a heavy dense fabric.
hiya gary! terrific choices. enjoy your new yarns. hugs to you, chad and pixel. xoxo from colorado
Hello there Romayne!
How exciting! Gorgeous yarns. Love when creators pick new to them yarns. Can't wait to see what you will create 🥰
I've been creating 'til the wee hours in the morning. Getting so addicted to learning new stitches and the Tea Time cakes have me inspired to work further into the colour way to see how they play out.
@@urbanyarn I had so much fun with the tea time cakes!! My first tutorial for my “Tea time with Michi beanie” is in the works! So exciting ☺️
Absolutely beautiful yarns!
I agree!
Love the yarns in bag one but I like the lighter green better than the christmas/emerald green it stood out. Second bag fantastic especially the yellow can't wait to see what you create. Love to you, Chad and Pixel

I love the teatime. I got some and I am quite pleased with it.
Yay! Gotta love the Tea Time!
Can’t wait to see what you make with them! Also really excited to get your opinion on the new yarns😊
Hi Gary, wonderful colours! I have a Netflix recommendation for you. If you haven’t watched “Safe” then you need to put it on your list. A fabulous whodunnit that keeps the viewer guessing right to the last episode.
Hi Taylor - thank you kindly for that Netflix recommendation. I'll have to give it a try!
Beautiful yarn choices! Enjoy the day from Nova Scotia 🇨🇦
We joined the rest of Canada yesterday with a health dump of snow. Brhhh - but beautiful!
Enjoy your day in Nova Scotia!
Hi Gary the yarn was beautiful 😊😊❤❤
Beautiful yarn
Beautiful yarns. I think the English Breakfast colourway reminds me more of an English rose tea cup (without the white). Enjoy!
Good call that English Breakfast colour way!
Loving the colors❤❤❤❤
Hi Terry! I'm here for all the colour!
The titanium is so beautiful like a silver!!
That Darjeeling 😍 thanks for sharing!
Good morning, Gary!
Good Morning Beverly
Beautiful yarn😍
I love hobbii, just a bit $pricey for me, on the regular. Thanks for sharing
I recently made a blanket with Hobbii’s Winter Glow-I loved working with that yarn. It said it was worsted, but I thought it was almost like a DK. I would buy it again and again!
Love all the colors you got and can’t wait to see what you make!
Thanks Vicki for the input on what you've used the Winter Glow on - the blanket sounds wonderful. I would guess it was a light and delicate finish.
I love the mohair colors 😅 have fun 🧶💫
You got some amazing yarn. They really make you want to get my needles or hooks going. I have just finished a shawl. Almost finished a granny square with a rose in the middle for my sister inlaw. Got into old wips and found one from many tears agoand I am finishing it.
Hi Sue - I'm thrilled to read what you've been working on. What a great feeling to have some of these WIPs getting finished and the center granny square sounds wonderful!
I was just about to choose, tea or coffee when you opened that bag of TeaTime yarns from Hobbii. I believe I’ll take tea and scoot on over the Hobbii website… it’s been a while since I’ve ordered any yarn from them. Thank you, Gary, for sharing these colours during the grey and snowy winter.
Hi Gregory, it's a perfect dilemma to have when looking for the right hot beverage. I have written out a few notes from working with the yarn and cannot wait to show the projects in February.
The Winter Glow reminds me of some Noro I've seen! Lovely solids!
Hi Joshey - I never thought of it like that, but I can see how it would resemble Noro. Now I love it even more…. LOL!
I like the candy in the bags. I love the Lollipop yarn. Going to have to check out the Tea Yatn line.
I'm showing much will power - as I've not cracked open the Hobbii candy yet!
Hi, You chose some gorgeous yarn. My faves are Rio Verde (green river) and Oolong. Excellent choices ❤❤❤
Thanks Lisa for your faves. I'm going to get stuck in the Oolong after the #NoShadesOfGrey as this one may not fit in with the rules for the challenge.
Nice yarn
The colors are absolutely gorgeous. You made wonderful choices, and I can’t wait to see what you do with these lovely yarns. They look so soft, and so beautiful. I know you’re going to enjoy using them, I know I would.
Rooibus my fav Tea Time
We drink it daily. It's our evening choice of hot beverage!
Hi Gary the cascata and tea time yarn is beautiful i am going to check those out
You'll love them - I do have plenty of notes from working with them to share in February. I'm on my 3rd project.
Love the yarns
Hello Laura! I thought that the Inga colour way in the Cascata was made for you.
❤🧡💛💚💙💜😊
I actually thought the second brown silk went well with the first brown (I already forgot the names. 🙄) But it just might be the color on my TV too. Cascada & tea time look a lot like "cookie"!! (Ah, Yosemite!!! Only 45 minutes away!!! 😉) Rio Verde (green river) is the perfect name! Love oolong too!
Hi Patti - you're so lucky to have such a beautiful landmark so close to you. I've only seen Yosemite in photos.
I am new to this, and love all your colors!
Hello Hoofnit03 - Welcome and thank you for your message.
Their tea time cakes remind me of their cookie yarns that are also made in India I believe, maybe the same supplier that's why they look similar just different colours
English Breakfast looks more like the zinger teas. All the tea ones are pretty.
The Tea Time cakes are so yummy with the blended colours!
I bought Hobbii yarn for the first time a few months ago. I find that it runs on the thin side for me. I go to the recommended hook size to determine thickness. (Lol).
You have lovely colors! I need to get a good ball winder to work with some of those.
I agree with your observation Heidi!
That was a lot of great yarn! Would love to get some of it but I am not adding to my stash if I can help it. Only hand dyed! 💖❤️
I hear you on the limited yarns to add in the current collection. I'm basing much of my projects on matching one new yarn with one from the existing collection - either in the same project or just to work in alternating projects, so that I know I'm using what I have.
Hi Gary!!!!❤😊 very nice video
Thanks Joanneannese - I'm glad you enjoyed the content. Always great to read your messages.
The yarns are beautiful, Gary! I'm especially taken with the Winter Glow. It will be exciting to see what you make with them!
I'm halfway done with my Winter Glow project and these crochet stitches are surprisingly well defined for a roving yarn.
Hello Gary,
Nice review❤. I often order from Hobbii but I've have never tried the Winter Glow line. The colours are beautiful and I wonder would you use it for pullovers/cardigans or for blankets, maybe for shawls/hats... Thank you for the review, enjoy your week!
❤
Hi Emese - As I'm just working with the Winter Glow in the solids for the first time, so far in my exploration I've knitted a Cowl and I've crocheted a shawl. I love it for both these lighter weight items that don't need to be robust. My thoughts on it being used for warmth (like a durable sweater or blanket) might not be the best. If the sweater is more for fair weather wearing - spring/fall, then yes it may work. I hope that helps if you are deciding on the end use of your project.
OK now you've done it. Tea Time colours are too lovely to pass up so guess I'll be trying acrylic yarn. Curious to know how Kid Silk works out so am excited to see/hear your impressions!
Hello Kimmy - It's nice to get excited about yarn that speaks to you. I find sometimes I need that inspiration too and the Tea Time cakes were one of my recent draw cards that spiked my interest. I'm currently exploring a Tea Time with the Kids Mohair! So far I'm kind of blown away!
My dear, what are you going to do with those hobbi yarns? I am so waiting to see your makes for some inspiration.
Hello Gary and Pixel. I crochet and would like to learn knitting, can you suggest any websites or RUclips teachers or books that may be helpful?
Hello there Ann. I've done a 30 minute video on answering those types of question and the video's number is Yarn Video 020. Let me know if you still have any questions - and I love that you'll be expanding your creative stitches.
Thank you I will watch it.@@urbanyarn
Did that bug come from the bag of yarn? Approx 17 mins
It looks like Caron cloud cakes.
Holy FIBERLICIOUSNESS overload!!! That Oolong was giving me Ferris Wheel vibes. I have a cardi in it. But the Roobios ooh La La !!!
I see that too Jax! If this yarn could be sipped - I've be sippin' all day long.
Hi Gary. All very nice colors. I await to see what great creation you come up with.
Love the "Inga" and (08) (10) cakes.
Love the yarn, beautiful colors. Can't wait to see what you make with it.
