    I'm glad you tried the yarn. One thing I noticed is that the fiber is not always as advertised. You have to really read it. I REALLY love their Angora blend with the speckled look. So nice!

    I had a plastic glo in the dark ball as a kid in the 70's. It was about the size of a tennis ball and hollow. I think knitting or crocheting a ball and stuffing it with fiberfill would be fun to toss around.

And are you saving money buying Temu yarn? At least I get some savings through the online Big Box yarns like JoAnnes, Michael's, etc. So, do you think you get more quality year through Temu for the money? • @epena2805
      @epena2805 7 месяцев назад +6

      @valack - They don’t give sufficient descriptions on most of their items. So how can you figure things out when labels are not written in English nor are there any international symbols for care instructions? They use only Metric for sizing for most of their products so unless you are well versed with that mode of measurement it is necessary to use a conversion calculator to determine an item’s size. Yes, I’ve purchased quite a few items from Temu - some are fine for what they are but much of what they sell is “dime store” cheap. Their product photographs are often manipulated to show items larger than the actual size. Certainly disingenuous especially that their goal as stated in interviews with many U.S. newspapers was to be bigger than Amazon.

      Milk yarn is 20% milk fiber and 80% cotton. It isn't a knock off of anything, it's its own thing and works up amazingly well, especially for amigurumi. It's only considered acrylic due to the chemical process the milk is put through to consolidate the proteins into fiber (yes, actual milk from cows is used to make it) but it isn't actually acrylic in the same sense as acrylic yarn.
