I know the Thirusulam temple is more than thousand years old. I used to visit the temple on festive days. The sculpture architecture the Tamil of olden days scripted on the walls I hv noticed. In the name of development many part of writing on the walls hv vanished or partly destroyed. Similar writings on wall can be seen in almost all old temples. I hv seen it in Ananthapadmanabhan temple Trivandrum Suruttapalli Thirukazhukunram Sri Rangam and so on. These hv to be protected to show to the world the ancient ancientness of Tamil literature. We shd be proud to live in the vicinity of such temples. VS

These developments in the mount r developments during last twenty yrs. Thirusulam temple shall be older by centuries. Instead of constructing temples on mountains it wd be better to maintain existing temples. Zamin Pallavaram and surrounding areas originally comes under Pallavan dynasty. There were some falls in the interior but it can be seen only during rainy season. As told in the top there is a Durga to which Islam friends used to visit on specified days. On the slopes now it is fully covered with concrete jungle. There was a loop line and small building near the quary and in 1965 to 1970 bitumen’s were carried in goods train. I hv seen it in those days. If Pallavaram and surrounding areas receive sufficient rains this mountain has its role even today. If one happen to see film Nadodi Mannan of MGR film one can observe MGR riding a horse chariot with supporting actor for song Uzhaippadila uzhappai peruvadhila. By seeing this video all these came to my mind and hence shared. Another film Engel Thangam climax was also shot here only. V Subramanian

Pallavaram mount murugn koil is safe from all murugan festival time because many peoples will come to the temple then pallavaram mount top place a cinema shooting place restricted area some safety purpose if your family see this place sunday morning time would be correct time because many peoples will come to exercise and walking on area ...

This temple is mostly closed and opened only at random timings. I told the temple priest in person that I shall come with more devotees regularly to the hilltop temple so that many more people would know about the temple and more footfall will be there. I took his phone number too. But he is such a lazy person that never attend any phone call. due to this, Unable to plan to visit the temple. Regularly I take many devotees to rare temples and many other devotional activities.
