- Humanity is a deeply weird game which is possibly about a dog who gets to decide which souls get into heaven, and which get left behind to smash their faces into a wall for all eternity.

I was wondering when Jon would get around to melting his brain over this game. It's an interesting 3D take on Lemmings.
The story is pretty absent, but it does play at being philosophical.
I prefer my puzzle games with minimal story. Just in the background, so it worked for me

This has a visual feel of the PS1 game Intelligent Qube, just with alot more characters and less spinning crushing cubes 😄
There are definitely some unusual games out there.
I've seen this game before and I really love it. It feels symbolic of humanity in general, where we are generally social creatures that follow the herd. And we have to change course or face countless loss of life.

so the last two years i have seen a great arcade style game succeed and spawn a revived genre, a great traditional crpg win every possible reward, super mario RPG got released without any hijinks like we saw with sunshine and now some one is reinventing lemmings.
please let these trends where studios figure out that making players happy generates revenue continue.
One of my top games this year. Particularly for how the mechanics change in each core. I still need to go back and get those last 5 goldies that I couldn't figure out first time through!

Day 1221 of requesting Zoo Tycoon. So what we're saying is that an infinite stream of people are coming into the level and I'm NOT supposed to question what is killing that many people? OR what happens to the ones that splat on the floor while the dog figures things out? Why not just cancel Christmas, too!?

It is probably not real people just a computer program. It is implied that humanity wiped itself out and the AI cores that are left over afterwards are running these tests to see if it is worth another go to try to bring humans back. Possibly the dog is another AI or the collective human consciousness, it is unclear and I couldn't decide what I thought in the end.
