I thought this whole "event" went as well as could be expected. I figured Whistling Diesel would indeed move the road train and also figured something would break shortly there after. Too much weight to be moved with so many stock components. The laws of physics had to come into play at some point. Actually, I was figuring the whole hitch, bumper, frame and what else might just get ripped off the old square body. He gave it a good try. Very creative by Murphy and crew to make this all happen. Looking forward to seeing HellBoy make a big tow.

He had it, that thing was moving. I never seen Hotrod shaking in his boots at the thought of loosing a sprint against Cody and having to live it down with your fallowers. I didn't know you could do quadruple pull in Arizona. Then to see 2 of my most loved channel creators getting creative together is better then awesome. I thought for sure he was going to be running that load down the highway. Thank you well done.

Watching Cody (Whistlin') try to pull that dozer with a square body gave me some serious flashbacks when I was humbled by the weight of an anhydrous ammonia tank. When I needed to stop...I went right across the highway. Luckily it was my boss on the highway laughing at me and not a car going 55. Moving isn't as important as being able to stop. 4WD drive in the snow can be a similar lesson.

At least you have a few trailer dollies for future use if needed. Notice they were very careful not to show the rear of the road train so you couldn’t see the Rotator giving a bit of a push.

Well I think you did awesome for your first showing OMG Hell Boy lives up to his name, but one thing to remember nobody does well in soft dry sand , I don't know if one is made currently but there was a transfer case that could be locked solid so front and rear turned the same and with lockers in front and rear that will make your Hell Boy like a tractor. What the heck kind of engine did HeavyD have in brodozer sounded like a turbine, it will be great to see how Hell Boy does in mud and snow and trees and swamp and lakes with semis and big trucks and what ever else you put him on. Maybe train cars even.

This side involved all the work getting the road train set up and the obstacles along the way. WD's channel is formatted to look like a dumb kid abusing popular consumer products to get folks worked up. And it does the job. lol
Put a couple Quick Performance 9" housings with 40 spline axles in there and get some WAY bigger driveshafts made, and check that clutch!!

I worked with the son of the man that did the pull with the Cheyenne. His name was Floyd Veach from Heron/Thompson falls Montana. Where you guys fuck up with the Cheyenne is your going uphill to some extent for one, 2. It’s on pretty shitty pavement and 3. You need more experience towing. I’ll post an article in regards to the Log haul that Floyd had done that also references the Cheyenne pull also. Floyd was told to pull with the Cheyenne by the Chevrolet reps till “something breaks” and he sure as shit made it a lot further than you guys and never used concrete blocks in the bed but had air tanks mounted for the log trailers to have something for brakes.

Milner told the Ledger that the load had a total gross weight of 674,860 pounds and that the net weight of the logs totaled 551,220 pounds. The truck and seven pups (as logging trailers are known) weighed 123,640. Milner placed a value of $102,000 on the truck and seven trailers owned by Roger Claridge of Kalispell.

Veach's truck is a Peterbuilt with a 350 Cummins engine.

The first effort to start the "Train load of logs" rolling after the loading process had been completed resulted in disappointment as the catch on one trailer gave away and necessitated unloading that pup and reconnecting the trailer and then replacing the load.
It was almost 11 p.m. Saturday before Veach rolled his record load to a stop at the Anaconda Co. weighing station, the Ledger reported.
The seven loads of logs had a net scale of 61,924 board feet. Two loads contained fir and larch, four were pine and the final load was composed of studs.
Milner said the initial record of four trailer loads of logs was hauled by Widner driving a Peterbuilt with a 250 Cummins diesel.
