J'aime le parc dans l'arrière-plan. Le qualité de vidéo est très bon.

When you mentioned the verb "tenter de", in the example sentence "je tente de soulever les poids..." it sounded to me that you were saying "sourlever" (with an "r"). Am I wrong?
Yea good catch. I messed up that verb but printed the correct one on screen!
Should every verb in french have a preposition if we want to put another verb after that?
Do all verbs have a preposition between them and the next verb? Certainly not.
Aimer faire, préférer prendre, savoir conduire are just 3 examples of verbs that don't require prepositions :)

J’essaie and je sais are going to be hard for me to distinguish 😪😂
Once you do though, it will be easy. Je sais is often contracted to something like "j'sais" or "ché" in spoken French whereas "j'essaie" always includes the sound of the first "e".

A simpler way to remember would be IM AT RISK OF BEING LATE.
D'abord j'aime la qualité de ta video. C'est très claire. Deuxièmement, je me demande si le «verbe de verbe» forme peut souvent ou toujours être traduire comme «verbe1 verbe2-ing». En anglais nous avons plusieurs formes (exemple: to have = have, to have, having).
J'ai aussi entendu que le «de» devrait être vu plus comme un marqueur ou diviseur de quelque sorte. Qu-est-ce que vous pensez de ça ?
Salut Mark. Je dirai que non, "verbe de verbe" ne se traduit pas par "verbe1 verbe2-ing". Est-ce que tu peux me donner un exemple ?
En voici deux :
J'essaie de faire. I try to do.
J'hésite de t'en parler. I hesitate to tell you about it.
Pour la forme -ing, je te conseille de lire sur le gerondif.
En ce qui concerne ton deuxième point, "de" peut représenter de différents éléments grammaticaux. Est-ce que tu parles de la préposition "de" ? La nature d'une préposition est de lier deux parties d'une phrase.
@@FrenchinPlainSight D'accord. Puis la question doit être, ce qui est le but pour l'usage de «de» ou «à» avec les verbes. Ce préposition, quel message fait-il d'envoyer à le lirant ? Bien sûr l'anglais "against", "for", "by", etc. et le français "contre", "pour", "par", etc. fait sens. Mais le «à» et le «de» sont spécials. Je ne vois aucune chose sur le Net. Les Français, comment font-ils les utiliser ?
Là, je pense que tu vois les choses de la mauvaise perspective. N'essaie pas de trouver une préposition équivalente en anglais pour comprendre. Je sais que c'est plus facile, mais quand c'est le cas qu'une préposition anglaise a une préposition équivalente en français, considère que c'est juste de la chance.
Moi, comme toi, je cherche toujours à comprendre. Mais souvent, c'est juste comme ça, et il faut l'accepter pour rester sain d'esprit.
"à" et "de" existent, ils nous les faut pour construire les bonnes phrases françaises, et c'est tout. :)

When you say the word at 5:52 into the video you pronounce it souRlever with an R sound as in sur. Is that how its supposed to be pronounced although there is no R? Is it just one of those words as we have a lot of in english? Thank you so much in advance
Ignore my pronunciation there, I got my verbs mixed up. If you know how pronounce "sous", you'll know how to pronounce this verb. Sometimes my brain plays tricks and then I can't correct it after in the edit.
