    In this vagus nerve yoga class for morning we will become familiar with our vagus nerve and the vagal brake through breathing. This will allow our nervous systems to move flexibly through our day, to meet the demands of our day. When our nervous systems are flexible, the vagal brake can release to allow us to move into action and then have the resilience to return to ease and calm so that the challenges of life feel more doable. This yoga class focuses on stretching the adductors/inner thighs and hip flexors. We will practice several variations of warrior one pose and goddess victory squat throughout this vagus nerve yoga class for the morning.

    With each breath out I come into ventral break! I am enjoying this Saturday, spending time with you in a variation of practices to put together with the OG 45. I learn so much with this one each time I practice. You are the best teacher-I have listened to so many and there is just no one like you. Thank you for all you do!

    I loved this. As I go deeper into my human experience, understanding the yoking of physical/mental/emotional/spiritual/energetic is really serving me. Understanding how I can be in control of so much of my own nervous system is a huge step forward, especially in such agitating times as these. Thank you for teaching us, Melissa!

    I can totally relate to the car going out of gear…as a kid I did the same in my Dads truck when he left me for a few minutes…mine did not end in release of the ventricle break, my Dad was pretty angry at me….haven’t thought of that on a long time, but now as an adult I understand why he was so angry..he was afraid for me…thank you Melissa 🙇‍♀️

    each breath out, I found my ventral break. amazing!!! just like many, I've suffered from a plethora of ptsd in this existence. this practice is the way, every day. thank you and many blessings to dr.
