Btw the filter under the bed is not your only fuel filter. Technically it is the Fuel Water Separator and there is a fuel filter on the engine as well.
Hello. Thanks for video. With the gas cap, is there enough clearance for a tonneau cover with this tank.? I have a 2015 Ram 3500 Dually MegaCab. I'd like to hide tank.
Bryant Sensabaugh no, get the 60 gallon, its small enough that you can install a pump and it will still fit under the cover that's what I did with my truck. If you plan on running #2, or off-road. What ever you want to call it. Then I wouldent have anything showing, quick way to get dipped.
Bro thank you for your video, is perfect, I try to install a 80 gallons transport diesel tank, I used for couple months, but all the time I open the valve and forget closed is leaking a lot of diesel at the street, so I removed, but now I work and I have to drove 500 miles so I bought a used kenworth diesel tank 110 gallons, but I see your video and you say you open the valve for a hour and you don see any leak!? what I do wrong!? help me man, I need finish this right! and thank you.
When I first installed it I was too like wow how does this not leak. The kit for the filler neck from rds has a check valve inside the fitting I believe that stops the flow of diesel then it gets full. Also I use a aluminum fuel cap that has a rubber gasket. This also might be helping since there is no where for the diesel to go past the aux tank T.
Hey Kendall is there anyway I can email you about your auxiliary gas tank I have a lot of questions for you. I’m having problems with my engine after I got gas tank professionally install. My truck keeps sending a message for me to reduce my engine power and also causing my engine light to come on. If you can please help me out I really would appreciate it.
I bought my tank used and installed in my truck with out the tape and springs. Eight years with no issues. I am moving the tank to my new truck and just wondering if anyone else just bolted to the bed without using the springs and tape...Thanks.
Only concern I might have if it wasn't rino would be aluminum and steel if the paint between the surfaces rubbed off. And even if that did happen the time it would take to corrode would be quite a while.
I have a 2016 Ram DW. I plan on purchasing RDS tank and gravity feed system. Appreciate the video and your comments. Thanks again for a great video.

I do have LineX coating...same as old truck. No issues there. Thanks.
That tank would put my range at over 2000 miles
I do not belive so.. I have read here and there of some taking the tank and having that neck shortened and rewelded.
