Thank you so much for sharing!! My sister found you and sent me the link to this video! We are both Lao but were adopted. Our parents didn't know much about our culture and we are still learning ourselves from youtube videos to make authentic lao sauces and dishes. ❤ new subscriber! Thank you!!
Thank you Nana, I will try your version as it is really cheap and good to make it at home. For those who are new in cooking as Nana has to talk and show you how, you have to always turn the bottom up and bottom up so that the chilli or peanuts that you're frying will not burnt. I was hunting for 老妈子辣椒油, I think this is almost like that. I often add it to my crushed cucumber.
Hello Nana.Just tried your Chili oil recipe , So easy to make and what a great taste. I have used my home grown chillies ,I will be trying some more of your recipes in the future. Thank you .....Tony .....From the UK

Hi i like the way you cooked the Garlic Chili Oil..very simple.. but one thing to clarify you said on your video @ 7:15 that it has an onion on it ? Awesome video.. Thanks!
I love this. Thank you for sharing. I was wondering if you can answer One question. My chili sauce is not hot enough; is it because I didn’t cook it long enough?
Daniechan Rapati if the chili pepper is not spicy, cooking it longer will not make it spicier. if you add more garlic or more oil yes, that could make it less spicy. But the spice level depends more on the chili peppers.
Gessica Di Rosa I store it in cool dry place. I don’t put it in the refrigerator. I clean the jar really well before adding the chili oil. I sometimes leave the jar open for many days without any problems.
You're awesome! Love all your wonderful cooling videos. Would like to see "thai boat noodle" recipe.. I'm sure you can show us how to make it one day. Thank you...

OMG. My blood pressure spiked when you loaded all that salt in the pan, but I was relieved to see you dump it later. Thanks Nana!
Dimi K lol the salt is supposed to keep the chilies from popping. That’s how my mom always taught me. I can’t remember if I’ve ever tried without salt
Super Mem ! Merci beaucoup

Ethan Lin you can just keep in a container to leave it on the counter.

How spicy is this?
That's a beautiful jar for storing it. Just a little too big
Why my chilli oil not come out beautiful red like yours?
What kind of chiiii peppers are those
I love this. Thank you for sharing. I was wondering if you can answer One question. My chili sauce is not hot enough; is it because I didn’t cook it long enough?
My first batch was nice and spicy. The second batch wasn’t really spicy at all . Or maybe I added too much garlic?
Daniechan Rapati if the chili pepper is not spicy, cooking it longer will not make it spicier. if you add more garlic or more oil yes, that could make it less spicy. But the spice level depends more on the chili peppers.

Hi! do you store it in the refrigerator? or did you sterilize the jar? what about the risk of botulino? I have concerns about it. Thanks!
Gessica Di Rosa I store it in cool dry place. I don’t put it in the refrigerator. I clean the jar really well before adding the chili oil. I sometimes leave the jar open for many days without any problems.
This version of chili oil is what I'm looking for. Now I can start to make a perfect chili oil. :)

A very long time. I've had it over a year and it's still good.

I Just made that its taste very good > I like it
Best chilli sauce ever
Is that garlic
Hi Nana, What is the difference using dried chilli and fresh chilli? I don't have any dried chilli here I think I have to dry them in the sun?
You have to dry out the chili. The moisture in fresh chili will cause you trouble when you add it to the hot oil.
You're awesome! Love all your wonderful cooling videos. Would like to see "thai boat noodle" recipe.. I'm sure you can show us how to make it one day. Thank you...
