Most of the people commenting can barely drive, let alone operate tools and machinery! You sir, have my respect , and keep living your dream ! Thumbs up to you...

    Cockpit it self is quite nice, but:
    1. Unarmed speedbrakes
    2. Autobrake was in OFF position
    3. In MCP SPD you should set V2+20 kts
    4. Initial climb speed, was over the altitude speed limit
    5. N1 was also on red, you should abort the T/O then
    6. Thrust deceleration, below DECEL ALT
    7. Flaps 5 for tanks full of fuel?
    You forgot about your seatbelts captain ;)

      Dude you got a really nice set up but there's also a lot of errors your making as the comments below stated. Your very through with your checklist and your set up but your take off was pretty poor. You needed to increase your lift and set your flaps properly for take off and set your altitude before you started taking off. Your moving way to quickly for your own good. Keep the pace slower and and make sure you set everything before you just blast the engines off. I just noticed your impulsively reacting in unsafe ways to be a pilot. Also you almost ran off the runway. You needed to pull up more aggressively and not so late. You don't want to have that happen in real life and crash your commercial airliner into a bunch of trees.

      Guyss thank's for your comments but that checklist I found it in internet and y print it out every body criticize the checklist but nobody tell me hey these is a link where you can find the right checklist .yes I'm flying the default 737 because pmdg take a lot of FPS and I have only one computer .about the flaps I do set flaps 5 for TAKE OFF but the flaps gauge is fake doesn't work every body tell me the same with the flaps I always set flaps 5 for TAKE OFF ,what happened with the runways I did not know that wass so short .I have a little baby and the time is short to start all over again . Believe me I read all the comments and I get the best of it and I try to fix my mistakes but overall remember guys this is a simulator this is a Hobby not real life I'm not a pilot I'm a driver on the ground but I love the airplanes and I love to fly and little by litter you learn how to do things but it never going to be perfect I never went any school to learn how to fly I haven't got more time to make another video and sometime I think why are going to do another video if everybody what they see are the mistakes and sometimes the comments are really stupid and nasty well I guess this be long enough and thank you for the nice and constructive comments .

      karelgb1 Yes i know and is indead not a plessure to get this command, but the goal of a simulator is to make it real as gets, that is why you get this commands, and i realy like your cockpit but with a Default plane you not going anywhere, already tried Prosim737 that is only for simulators like yours. then you can fly it like a boss haha

    • @MrBigdiesel2010
      @MrBigdiesel2010 9 лет назад +5

      karelgb1 To be honest mate I understand what you're doing.. You do it for the enjoyment. You don't strive to make your equipment 100% accurate with the ambition to be a pilot. You simply enjoy the moment of the Flight simulator game and enjoy having that for one moment of your life, just like we all do when we play Rally games etc... We all play them at arcades. Sadly you have been a Victim of the RUclips masses who do not understand that writing is always miss-read. Some people write bluntly; especially the people who know the knowledge and notice mistakes within others work straight away.
      Listen to everything that someone has to say, Yes 90% of it might be bull crap to you for many diverse reasons... but listen! Somewhere within that crap there will be a piece of knowledge that you will benefit from knowing. Know all them times when you speak to a mate and bounce idea's or knowledge and you both learn??
      That's how we learn as adult people. TAKING OFFENCE IS A CHOICE JUST LIKE BEING HAPPY OR SAD DON'T BE OFFENDED AND THE YOUR LIFE WILL BE A LOT SMOOTHER..
      Continue your video's of this I would like to see how it is now? All them comments that put you off making more was said to you to for a reason. Learn from what was said don't allow them to stop you. The meaning of life is to create meaning. Everyday you do so, everyone does so because of this we all ask questions and share knowledge creating meaning and in turn we EVOLVE. Don't be offended and put off what you enjoy doing. Have a great day mate... I hope to see an update of your cockpit soon. :)

    • @AlimonyCheck
      @AlimonyCheck 10 лет назад +5

      The most common flap settings for takeoff on a 737-800 are 1 and 5 and if you'll notice, he sets the flaps to 5 in his pre-takeoff checklist at around 5:28 in the video. And as far as the hand not being on the throttle during takeoff. It's probably because he doesn't have a co pilot present to have hands on them or the yoke. And it appeared that he had the plane off the ground before the runway ended, although it was close.

    • @teencessnapilot
      @teencessnapilot 10 лет назад +4

      dhutchinson86
      Yes, flaps are anywhere from 1 all the way to 15 on takeoff (depending on weight and weather). Still, there is no excuse to not have your hand on throttle at all times, especially when there is no co-pilot. Learned that my second hour of flying in a Piper Warrior II. If you need that for a plane so small, then for a huge plane, of course you need it. It's the same as throttling up to full (which burn out your engines, another failure. The max ever should be 90%N1. Above that, you are using emergency power, reserved for only....yep... emergencies. Above 95%N1 for 120 seconds would break your engine. ) You comment contradicts itself. "And as far as the hand not being on the throttle during takeoff. It's probably because he doesn't have a co pilot present to have hands on them or the yoke." What? You keep one hand on the yoke, the other on throttle. Otherwise, you have chaos in the cockpit. I just read an article in the monthly AOPA column, with a small airplane accident, because the 25 year veteran ATP was trying to fly, while the CFI was controlling the throttle. On landing, the plane impacted the ground and tore the wheels off. An old saying, " To many chefs spoil the broth" :)
      Have a wonderful day dhutchinson86! Take care and best regards,
      Igor

    Slight precisions about 737 basic settings cockpit looks great but when you do a checklist you gotta crosscheck every item you've set FLAPS 5 but FLAPS Indicator is showing flaps UP. Your speed should be set initially to V2+15 not 250 kts on the MCP speed bug on PFD shows set to 0kts and last thing Autobrakes should be set on R/TO Innsbruck RWY is quite short better have it in case on engine failure below V1. I don't know how you've set the FMS and you take-off weight but engine indication should not get into the red zone. When using Medium or Heavy jets on short runways better use the full runway length you left the ground almost at the end of the runway (which is not that safe) your height over opposite threshold should be at least 50 ft 300 m of backtrack is not long. Thrust reduction is made too early keep T/O thrust until 1500ft or the height indicated by the FMS for THR RED. Those are just advises even if it's a sim try to make it as close to reality. Otherwise you've got something very interesting for simulations. :)

    could anyone please explain to me why people prefer to spend a lot of money for a "home made" cockpit instead of spending the money for a private pilot license and fly real airplanes?

    • @vosje7691
      @vosje7691 9 лет назад +6

      Do you think a private pilot license is easy to become? It's not cause u paid that kind of money that u sure will have that license, if u not past the test there goes your money. If u invest it in a flightsim u have lot's of fun for the rest of your life.

    • @lucac901
      @lucac901 9 лет назад +6

      Vosje76 a privat pilot license isn't that hard to get. I agree that the theoretical exams can be challenging but once you've past them the world is open. After that (and even before), flight lessons can start and although you have a flight instructor next to you, you will have lots of fun. I simply can't imagine that a simulator can give you the same satisfaction than flying on a real plane. No matter how big the effort is to get a license, it is absolutely worth it. I can only recommend it ;)

    • @vosje7691
      @vosje7691 9 лет назад +1

      Luca Privatpilot I believe that :), it's my dream to achieve such a license, and I still have lot's of time to do that, but in the meanwhile, one can prepare himself for the challenge by investments like these, let us say the next best thing to real life flying. I guess u have that license already?

    • @somberlight
      @somberlight 9 лет назад

      you don't have to worry about the fuel, the parking / warehouse or anything really. sure, it's a considerable investment to do it like this, but when its done like you want it, you get to hop to your sim-cave every time you wish, and not have to worry about details. i mean, can you park and then fly the real plane from your driveway?

    • @lucac901
      @lucac901 9 лет назад +1

      That's exactely the point. Flying is a lot about details, such as fuel calculation, mass and balance, aircraft performance and density altitude, just to name a few parts of the flight prepararion. They are as intresting as the flight itself. The more details you take into consideration, the better and safer will your flight get. If you do not care about details, please keep flying your simulator. 😉
