Enjoyed the review thank you. I see in your description you also have the Tamron 17-35 2.8, what do you think of that? What lens are you using to film this video please?
Since this video I've started to use the 20mm more often as I do like it. I've simplified my lighting which makes it easier to use the lens as I don't like seeing softboxes etc in the background
Well I should say I don't like them pointing at me in the shot, I will setup little product shot setups for the background for a laugh
I watched your video again as missed you already confirm what lens you’re using haha. Thanks
Nice one 2 views ha. Glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah I use Tamron 17-28mm f2.8 and I bounce between it and 20mm still
thanks brother
You're welcome
The Best🔥
It is a savage lens
I have this lens too and very useful for landscape. I am exploring astrophotography and how do I focus this lens to infinity?
Because its an f1.8 lens it means its easy to see the stars in your viewfinder and I try to focus for the stars and not just go to infinity.
Or Sony 20-70mm f4 G about same price?
Yeah but that's an f4 so you you'd need much higher ISO for astro. Even though Sony has great ISO performance you still want to control it. If f4 and versatility is what you're looking for then the 24-105mm f4 is the best lens for you. In my commercial work its my most used lens
Almost bought it but would prefer the Viltrox 16mm.
Yeah I'd love to try that Viltrox lens out
Nice vid! I’m going to share my own thoughts on my channel. Is green your favorite color?
Green? No red is
@@MarkDuffyPhotography everyhting is green in the video. or maybe its st. patricks day lol
20mm? No way. It's a lot bigger.
A lot bigger than what? Its one of the smallest lenses I own
@@MarkDuffyPhotography, 🙄 ok
A long-term lens review without a single example image. Thumbs down.
1.45 milkyway of Roche Castle is shown shot by the 20mm. The following vlog clips are from my vlogs using the lens and I even sat that. I show it then being used for this video at the very end. You don't need to see 10 photos to prove a lenses' worth. So you can take that thumb and shove it somewhere else
@@MarkDuffyPhotographyhe made a good point… you need to learn to take criticism.
There's no ibis so many good lenses no ibis 🥹
IBIS is in the camera. You mean OSS? Very few lenses have stabilisation for Sony
