We have plenty more to come. Started on the fuel system today but unfortunately had to cut the day short bur to a manufacturer not sending specs i needed for pump parts. But Monday we'll be back on it. Hopefully within a week all the videos will he out on this truck.
lol how many times did you recheck to make sure you didn't miss a nut my OCD would have made me check it a half dozen times..🤣🤣ARP be f'ing with us.. thanks for sharing
The 12v 5.9l is my favorite Cummins. Great engine. Can't beat them. With a turned up P-Pump and the usual supporting mods, they make good, reliable power. "I'd rather be Cummin than Strokin!!!" LMFAO ARP'S are great. I've used them in so many applications on so many different vehicles. They make an excellent product which gives me a peace of mind. They've definitely never let me down and the fact that they're reusable makes them worth alone. Sometimes they loosen up a little on high horsepower applications thatbuse an MLS head gasket, so it doesn't hurt to check them to see if they need to be retorqued after awhile.
Thanks for the specific explanations on your assembly. I will never work on a Detroit Diesel but I am sure those who do appreciate all the details. What are your plans for Larry in 2021. What condition is his engine in. Will you have to do a rebuild on him?
We have them but i much prefer the click of a torque wrench. I've had the digital ones cause issues from low batteries. I tend to only use them for torque angle and other specific tasks
well that was nuts or should i say nut that they sent a extra nut with it wonder if it was the one missing from my set i called arp and they wouldn't replace it cause i bot set off eBay from a none dealer. it was sealed box so was arp's fault the lady i talked to there was a snob and in kind words told me to piss up a rope. thanks for sharing
@@patricktetreault4870 ford 6.4 powerstrokes are 115 ft. Lbs. Then 90⁰ then an additional 90⁰. I'm afraid they will snap every time. Personally hate the practice of degrees i prefer a torque spec and thats it.
Thank you Tyler! This is one of your best videos. Looking forward to the next installment.

Happy New Year Tyler!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is what I enjoy watching. I work to the same theory CLEAN CLEAN & CLEAN 🧼
Wether its a budget performance building or an all out race truck we give it the same level of workmanship.
happy new year 2021

Hey man, did you have to tap the head stud holes? Currently doing this job in my driveway up in NWI
I assume with arp studs torque is straight up stock Cummins is torque turn method
Yes, straight 125 ft. Lbs
@@Spyke383 I’ve had problems with the torque turn method breaking head bolts last one I dropped to 60 degrees from 90 no problems
