My gastroenterologist messed up my digestive system by advising me to take omeprazole continuously for three years for an irritated esophagus, until I ended up with an iron and calcium deficiency. Both he and my primary care doctor denied that the drug could have anything to do with it, and they put me through a year of stressful body-intrusive testing that found absolutely nothing. They were actually cheerful about that, saying with a smile that they could find nothing wrong with me except that I had iron-deficiency anemia. At the same time, and for the first time, I had tested positive for osteopenia. I will never touch PPIs again and encourage anyone I meet who takes them to educate themselves regarding the drug's side effects and contraindications.

I know I comment a lot but you've became my fave youtuber here! You are doing an amazing job in explaining and the topics are really interesting and useful. I have a few more ideas for future videos, I thought I share them with you - maybe you can / or want to talk about some of these topics:
    1. Is soy healthy? fermented soy yoghurt etc
    2. Are lectins really that bad? like eating zucchini etc
    3. What does it mean when my poop is really slimy and sticky? (also bad smelling)
    4. Having lots of air in the stomach, how can I get rid of it? Where does it come from? (Yes I chew good & no I don't drink sparkle water or soda)
    5. Your opinion on protein powder and can you recommend one?
    6. Is raw salad in the evening really that bad? like is digestion slower at night?
Soooo that was a lot, hope its ok that I gave you some ideas... 😊
