My first love passed on two years ago. When he broke my heart at 17, I didn’t think I’d survive. Justin and The Moody Blues saved my life.....very literally. I’m 62 now. My gratitude for all of it, is endless, both the good and the bad. Rest In Peace, Keith Hoenshell. ❤️
Love to you, this helped me survive my divorce from the love of my life
My Great Love also passed away...Not in real...he did nt die, but he disappeared, dont know why..:😌
I am sure he must have regretted it later. You have a true heart.
@@markeaton2003 i dont know ....?? Ok, he had regretted.....Often i travelled near his home....nothing happened although his is still fade away...maybe he really passed away..
@JustMe What a nice powerful tribute to the Moodies! New Horizons has been and still is a life-saving song for me too. I remember hearing it in the early 70s after my father died and the song gave me hope when it came out and again 11 or so years later. @Laurel, a lot of people share your gratitude; thanks for putting it so nicely. Their music is so positive and the message I hear is "Be kind and loving to one another." We really need that especially these days! Hugs to everyone.
"Cause you were all there was to know about me" - what a deep line that is.
A gentle song with beautiful lyrics sung with passion. Thank you Justin. 12/23
Justin Hayward writes the most profound and poignant music. Pure gift from Heaven. Thank you, Mr. Hayward. Forever thank you. Your music has blessed my entire 50 years of life.
What a voice! And still handsome as ever! Saw you at Sun City, South Africa in 1995, fourth row from the front. Unforgettable! Thank you for still singing!
I bought the Blue Jays album when it was released. This has to be the first time I've heard this song in over 30 years...gave me chills!!!
BEAUTIFUL
JUSTIN IS ONE OF THE GREAT SINGER SONGWRITERS
41 years ago my husband to be introduced me to this song.. I have always kept it close to my heart
In Poland, this kind of music is called "Land of Gentleness".
Mr Hayward should be King of the Land.
Justin is the best singer songwriter of our age. My love to Justin and all of his mutual fans.
One of my favorites. I sing it out loud when I’m alone and feeling wistful. I think about my boyfriend in college who I thought would marry me but he was secretly seeing someone else. He married her a few years later. I saw a picture of him on his sister’s fb site recently and he looks like his father: balding, portly and tired. Can’t look back!
Another Beautiful song from Justin Hayward...I think everyone thinks about their 1st love 💕 even if they been married over 26 years .Great job gets to listen to beautiful song and wonder what if....
Thanks for being my dedicated and loyal fan it's been a wonderful journey through the years kindly send me a mail justinhayward03@gmail.com how long you’ve been my beloved fan
A man who took care of himself and has been playing since my birth year of 1965.
Much respect.
I feel blessed to be able to say that I’ve never had to ponder that question. I married my true love. I was 17 and she was 15 when we met and 5 years later we wed. I’m now 62 and of course, she’s 60 and we love each other more with the gift of every passing day. Wonderful song, thank you!
Lovely song Mr. Hayward, Since the late 70's, I never forgot this Blue Jays song, and I can still remember the words and it's meaning, both for the song and for my life...
One of the standouts of those brief Blue Jays days. At least now we know why it was never a Moodies song! And at the same time through the wonderful artistry of Karmen we can get a glimpse of how Ray might have made it sound if the Moodies had, in fact, done it.
Superb! I've always loved this gentle, sad song. Justin and Karmen perform a beautiful rendition of it here. Magic.
Love this... and all of Blue Jays... My first in many collections of my "Moodies Music"... Loved it back then... Love it still!!
❤️... Bless you Justin for sharing today and always!❣️😍

Lost my first love, who I met at 14 and he was 16...on the back of his motorcycle we would ride through the autumn leaves in Pittsburgh, where we both grew up. We dated all through high school, moved to L.A. and lived together in 1974...both attended college there...he was killed riding a bicycle, of all things, he was always so careful on the motorcycle. I am working on a musical about my story with him as his spirit is always near me..this song really hits me and he would probably be singing it too, in spirit. Love is eternal...thank you Justin, always so much depth from your songs. Your music is the soundtrack to my life, you and the Moodies. Thank you, bless you! xxx
I wonder if Justin ever has a moment when he sits back to reflect on how MUCH good music he has created....... It seems I am not alone in being thankful that he (and the other Moodies) have been there for me to listen to when I needed lifting in dark times.
I have always marveled at your ability to write from the heart, on personal subjects, (that we all share), and then perform them flawlessly, without giving in to the emotion that has to be roiling just under the surface. Bless you, sir, and very well done indeed. 💕
What a marvelous discovery! This is a fabulous song and exactly what Mr. Hayward wanted. I love this song.
52 years a huge fan of Justin's and the Moodies and his/their music never gets old! Karmen is such a wonderfully talented flute player/singer. i do miss my Moodies concerts!
The most elegant of songs, beautifully performed and expressed....isn’t Karmen a joyful addition to the fold? Thank you again for sharing with us. I hope we can get hold of this actual DVD soon!
A better heart I think, listening to you for all these years. Thank you Justin -gi
Another one of Justin's masterpieces that has always resonated with me. Many thanks to Justin and to Karmen Gould for this sweet rendition.💙
We were supposed to be seeing Justin in Rockport, MA tonight so this will have to hold us for now.
Carmen's such a perfect addition..
Blue Jays is such a great album. At first this wasn’t one of my favorites of it but years later it is my favorite. Age will do that to you!
Brilliant track. Brilliant performance.
Amazing, everything you sing, mr. Hayward, is fantastic. I was very thrilled to find this channel on RUclips, thanks from the Netherlands
A great tune from a great album.
In the 60 s justin & paul mccartney music is what we felt and tried to believe in
That sent shivers up my spine. Never heard this track before. Really loving this series. More please. Thanks 😊 again.
Find the album “Bluejays”. You won’t regret it.
@@ooyginjardl4037 Found album on Amazon . Thanks 😊 for that.
An entire movie should be built around this song. Beautiful.
@@davidgrief4361 : I can't wait for you to hear it!
Dear Justn- it's definitely RIGHT FOR THE MOODY BLUES. I can see this being harmonized by you, John Lodge,Ray Thomas and Graham Edge and a full orchestra. I've always wanted to see you live with orchestra in tow. Maybe, that will happen. Sincerely, Cindy Zapf
The best old love song ever written
❤️ ... and once again magic is performed before our eyes, thank you, Justin! ❤️
One of my favorite songs from the Blue Jays album, just brilliant!
Lovely duo during this song with Karmen playing and singing. Very bittersweet. Love this song! :)

Born in 1975. No clue why I am drawn to The Moody Blues, specifically Justin Hayward - but I am . This song is actually one of my faves 💙💙💙💙💙

This is absolutely sublime! Only Justin has the ability to reach the deepest corners of my heart... forever grateful for his music 💙
A lovely song indeed. Karmen's addition is magical.
Love the moody blues music!❤
Beautiful version
I'm honored to be even able to comment on Justin's most recent live performance. Justin and the Moody Blues have always taken me back to a transparent sailing ship traveling through time and space on a journey for the quest of the center of the universe, a place that many of us would regard to be a place called... heaven.
great Justin! about 50 years of wonderful memories... thank you for your gift!

A beautiful song. Thank you, Justin.
Beautiful. One of my many favorites.
I absolutely love this song! Thank you, Justin, for sharing.
Justin created in a song, the feelings that so many of us have now that the years have passed. I find myself looking at pictures in old school yearbooks of girls I loved, and wonder if they still live and if their life was or has been good. Such are the feelings now that we're old and in many cases alone...
AWESOME! Thanks Justin😎😊
Artful sample of music making! So happy for Tuesdays. Every week another pearl on the string. Thank you!!!!
Absolutely beautiful and a song that affects all.
for the one we missed.
Justin such a sensitive beautiful human being with a depth of soul that colours all of your music . You are a true artist in every sense. Have been listening to the Moody Blues since1972 , others have tried to emulate you as a compliment to you . You set the tone. Thank you from the heart for your gentle yet remarkable presence to us all . Poetry, spirit, strength, soul, and so much more Justin ..thank you for your special grace and gift from within you.
Ruth Thomson fellow artist and lover of great music.

Gorgeous rendition of a meaningful song that only Justin could write. Lovely to see in person, every note, every nuance heard made for a memorable and intimate concert experience.
Beautiful as well as powerful.
This has always been one of my favourite songs, Justin, hauntingly beautiful.
Wow....... What a song!!! Love it!!!
I can hear the ‘Moody Blue sound’ in this song. Thanks again and again to all present and past members of the Moody Blues whose music is a constructive part of my life from 1970 to present.
So wonderful, thank you.

What a beautiful song & performance!
lovely.
Lovely song Justin, Who Are You Now is a Blue Jays wonder. Sounds wonderful with Karmen's flute, Ive loved the sound of the flute from a child...dont know why Im drawn to it, maybe its the peaceful gentleness of its sound above the noise and opression of my younger years.
Thats prob why your music hits me right there 💖 it tears at the heart strings. 💞 this one certainly does 🎵🎶🎵
brand NEW from Moody Blues---and yet, so many years now beyond

My brother Justin. you don't how many lives you touched... but that's okay, the Spirit reminded me how he conveyed His words thru your music. I remain, grateful for your presence in my life.
Just incredible guys. A very moving and beautiful rendition at this beloved classic .xxx
Another beautiful song. 💕💕
This is just so quiet and lovely. I love songs that ask questions. Your video series has been a joy and all of the songs are magical.
Thank you, Justin for posting these weekly videos. I was one of many who was supposed to have seen you live this past April and even though we can't see you in person (for the first time whenever that will be) I am thoroughly enjoying these videos and your intimate introductions to us.
I think this is only the 4th or 5th time I have seen this work performed, and a wonderful performance it is.
Thank you, Justin and Karmen, for sharing this with the world.
Keep Loving!
Your wonderful lyrics have comforted me, and made me feel I am not alone. Happy you continue doing these, even though I lost my hearing on the right side, but magically my brain seems to compensate and I continue to enjoy. Thank you😊❤️
Ahh yes one of the songs from the continually brilliant Bluejays album. Justin and John could do Bluejays 2, it’s not too late guys. Come on boys, get it together, you feed off each other like Lennon /McCartney and you’re still both active musicians presumably with time on your hands like lots of us these days. We’re never going to get another Moodies album, this would be the next best thing. Thanks Justin for decades of joy through your songs.
Hi Justin I like your studio cool. Please keep sharing this music it does help
Thank you for sharing

Thank you Beautifuls for this very special music i have loved from the beginning:)
Whooo hooot from Boise, Idaho. Thank you!
Very nice, romantic and haunting...and it was my first time listening to the song. Stay safe and well out there. Keep up the great music!
Beautiful song. Saw you and John do that with Tim way back. Lovely and emotional.
Quite Lovely..well done...
Thank you! One of my absolute favs. This treatment is stunning.
( A bit nervous when 2pm central came and went! 😏 😎👍)
The sentiment in this song is powerful, and the vocal, words and melody mesh together perfectly. First time I have seen a live recording of this piece and the flute addition/arrangement is perfecto! One of my favorites on the BlueJay album. I read somewhere, it was recorded in only one take for that album. After seeing this recording, I believe it! Thanks for taking the time to post these brilliant songs from your tour Justin!
I just have to tell you I've never heard of you before but I absolutely loved your song it was so peaceful and it was so nice to listen to and you have such a wonderful soothing voice I will continue to look for you on the phone to see if I can hear more of your songs you do beautiful work and the young lady plays the flute beautifully thank you for sharing that with us God bless you for Maine and Massachusetts
Beautifully done everyone =-)
Very nice! Thank you both!
Wow. Amazing work.
Such a perfect sound with just two people! I will try playing along on my flute for fun.

Being a lifetime Moody fan, I have always thought ANY song these guys wrote were Moody Blues songs, and we get to sit and listen and go for a mental journey where ever it goes. I feel the same for this song even though Justin seemed to feel it wasn't right way back then. The song is quite beautiful, and it was music like this I shared with my first love back in High (as I'm sure many did) I introduced her to the Moody Blues and they became our sound track in the 70's. Her and I still manage to keep in touch now and then,... love never really dies, it just takes on new meanings. For My Lady was my favorite at that time and in my yearbook she penned the lyrics from New Horizons, since she was moving on to college the separation of "US"... so Thank You Justin (and the Moodys) for a life time of love and a sound track that proved the Days of Future Pasts are achievable and the Lost Chord has been found!
Love you Justin!!
