Chemistry of beauty. Vocal brilliance.
I can’t listen to this without tearing up. We lost our 30 year old son to a pulmonary embolism. I know he’s out there somewhere, and that somehow he can hear my voice. I know I’ll find him someday. Moody Blues was his favorite band. We opened his memorial service with “Your Wildest Dreams.”
Remember death is an illusion! I know this for a fact! I’ve been visited from beyond the grave by loved ones! They were able to speak to me and let me know their lives continued. There is a window from the time of death that they can speak to you if you have the ability to hear them! I didn’t want or try to be in contact with them but it happened for all the judgemental religious nuts who doubt my words! There is more to this life than your religions allow you to know! Be blessed until you see him again!
I'm so sorry for your loss
I always have the same reaction to this song. I end up crying like a baby but can't stop at playing it only once.
I ABSOLUTELY love it!!!
Wishing you the healing that compassion can bring
Wow, good way to remember
Alf maybe he is sending you this message from " Heaven" the " happy place" 💥💥🦋🧚♀️🦋
he will be watching over you and protecting you 🔥

Most Beautiful! 😊💕
Thanks for being fab
I knew you were out there somewhere, Justin. Thanks. Keep well. 🎶
Justin truly is one of the great musical talents of the last 50+ years.. He’s got the whole package. He’s a great songwriter a superb singer with such a wonderful voice that has always shown great emotion..Let’s not forget he’s a really killer guitar player as well. Both on electric and acoustic. He could be one of the more underappreciated artists in the music world!
Agreed. Vastly underrated guitarist -- probably because he practices restraint.
I agree 110%
Justin has been on the cover of "Guitar Player" magazine more times than any other guitarist, bar none. He is well known, appreciated, and revered for his abilities among his fellow guitarists, just grossly underestimated and under-appreciated by non-guitar playing fans...
@@loragunning5394 Interesting fact of which I was previously unaware. I'm pleased to learn that he's received such extensive peer recognition. My perception was purely anecdotal in that folks, sitting around casually discussing competent guitarists, almost always fail to rank him. So he struck me as one of those quiet, unsung, guitar heroes valued more for his lyrics than his instrumental virtuosity.
Mr Vibe The "killer package" includes being super handsome, too. Sorry, could not let that pass by without commenting on Justin's killer looks over the years. 💙
I don't know how old he is but this was fantastic! Glad I found this video.
Concert upcoming in Phoenix, AZ in May... We are so excited to go... We have been listening to him 52 years or more...Look for the couple in their 60's clothes :-) and say, "hi" :-)
Real cosmic up in the sky sounds. 💖🌠🌌
My favorite Moody Blues song equal to Nights In White Satin, in my opinion.
So special. Thank you.
Started listening to the Moody Blues in the early 70's. Love the music. Saw them in person a few times through the years. Takes me back to my younger days. Justin, you are the best.
Totally enjoying this new version. I love both tracks & video's. ❤janice
This may sound silly but this song started playing when I lost my first beloved dog "Sweetheart". When she died my soul died with her. But when I heard this song, like always a song from the Moodies would come on and the lyrics hit my heart because I knew I would see Sweetheart again and I knew she was out there somewhere.
Thank You so much for this great music. That makes me feeling better. Luv U guys.
Tuesday afternoons have NEVER been better. Thank you for this amazing series. Cheers!
Justin Hayward has always been an inspiration to me as a guitarist, singer and songwriter since I first discovered the Moody Blues. I had a riff that I'd had been playing for years in my head that didn't ever go anywhere. One day I was listening to this song and his other song called I Dreamed Last Night and it inspired me to write one of my own songs within about 5 minutes using this riff. My song sounds nothing like either of these songs but it has the same familiar theme and feeling about wondering what happened to a previous love. I'm so blessed that Justin Hayward's music could inspire me to create something of my own.
What a lovely way to spend a Tuesday Afternoon! Oh, and the lava lamp is brilliant!!
Thanks for your support and encouragement has fan to me I want to say thank you very much I really appreciate your lovely comment on my post message me direct on Hangout so will can no more about us Ok I wait for your response on Hangout.

great seeing you justin natural avenue greatest album & king & queen best song
A great song that always tugs at the heart strings. It poses the big question........what if? You can tell from all the comments how much it means to so many people. One of my favourites along with 'Lovely to see you' and 'Are you sitting comfortably?'
One of favorite songs. A love song very real.
So uplifting, beautiful as always💘
❤❤❤😊❤
Goosebumps ♥️♥️♥️
Justins songwriting is unmatched!!! tysm...we All Love this!!!!
Thank you for this second installment of Tuesday Afternoon entertainment, Justin! We're all out here looking for a ray of sunshine during these pandemic days and these performances help quite a bit. Can't wait for the next one!
I guess I should start by saying - HUGE Moody's fan here from when they first started playing music. When I heard Justin talking about " In your Wildest Dreams" I paused this video and went and watched the Wildest Dreams video-been a long time since I heard it...and I teared up. I had forgotten that the "Somewhere" video is a continuation of the Wildest Dreams video. So I love these stories that Justin tells and the fact that he wrote the song "I know your out there somewhere" as a follow up to Wildest Dreams. On top of the fact the I just love Justin's music, another reason watching "In your wildest dreams brought me to tears is the girl that is obviously suppose to be Justin's girlfriend in the video....The love of my life kind of looked like her and she was every bit as cute. Anyway We are all so lucky Justin is still around and still making music and memories for us!
I am a 65 year old man and I have been a fan since the early '70s. I've seen the Moody Blues in Concert many times. All I would like to say is that it has been a magical journey. I know you have probably heard this a million times but I feel that I know you guys like I know my friends, brothers and sisters. I'll see you in the next world ...don't be late! Best Wishes and Love Always, James
Very nice everyone...so much talent on that stage...
Thank you. This song has been saving my life since the eighties. Your poetry is sublime.
My God, you are still just as amazing and inspiring as you were when I was a 16 yr old and I watched the video for your Red Rocks Concert on PBS! My pops and I watched that DVD and listened to the cd so many times together. Thank you Justin for giving some amazing memories.
I've listened to you and the Moody Blues for over 50 years. I still listen to your your songs nearly every day. They are calming, relaxing and most have special meanings for me. I even get goosebumps at times! ❤ Thank you Justin and The Moody Blues.
Gracias por gran talento Justin !!
Thanks Jus..We need your songs NOW.Worlds gone crazy...Keep playing.
One of my favorite songs of all time. It never grows old!
I love this song
Just as beautiful as 60 years ago. Thank you, Mr Hayward. Thank you very much.
Fantastic! Unstoppable Justin Hayward; keeps performing, singing, creating, some of the best songs ever written, over a period of five decades! An inspiration for all of us, in many ways! Thanks for all the great work, Justin!
They really are amazing.
Oh gosh, I'm *never* this early! I know I'm not first but, I'm so honored! I don't have a speech prepared, but now, I understand the excitement!😁
I hope you find a reason to smile today.🥰
a Fantastic song .............nuff said
I wish someone was singing about this song about me. 💙
I love this version of the 🎵
Justin your one of my most favorite voices ❤
And songwriters
Please come back to dallas🙌🙏
We're glad, we know you're out there somewhere!
I shared with a good friend who comes from a pretty strong musical background, who really loves Moodies. They responded...This was Incredible!! What really stood our for me
is some as time goes by start to loose their vocals..not Justin!! Fantastic!!!,,
that says it all really ....Just Timeless talent...tysm for all the years of joy!!! xxx
Beautiful song of longings and togetherness
THANKS JUSTIN AND THE MOODIES
Another incredible performance. Wow. The harmony is fantastic, Mikes guitar playing is stellar, Justin plays with emotion and soul and heart and sounds better than ever and Julie has mastered that keyboard and her voice is incredible. Same with Karmen. Hats off to the producers and directors etc. Great work all around.
I have been a Moodies fan since 1968. Justin, I can't believe that you have long since omitted the 3rd verse of "I Know You're Out There Somewhere". You wrote 4 inspired verses, but only play 3. Would you do that to "Nights", "Tuesday", "Question", etc.? Would you like to hear only 3/4 of your favorite Buddy Holly songs (I'm a fellow Texan), or only see 3/4 of the Mona Lisa, or watch only 3/4 of your favorite movie? And the 3rd verse contains some of your best lyrics. I hope you will reconsider your decision to leave out one of the best parts of the song, and love all four of your "children", and not just 3. Thanks for all of the great songs over the decades. The Moodies truly wrote the soundtrack to my life--along with the 13th Floor Elevators (Austin, TX late '60s). I hope you overcome your "blind"ness, find the "courage" and disregard the "danger", because we both know that "love eternal will not be denied".
The words that I remember
From my childhood still are true
That there's none so blind
As those who will not see
And to those who lack the courage
And say it's dangerous to try
Well they just don't know
That love eternal will not be denied
I love hearing the stories behind the songs. Best music ever!!!
I miss seeing the Moodies live. Last time I saw them at the Mann in Philadelphia.
It’s interesting that songs are never finished for you. The two chapters of this story are universal and magical. Both are beautiful.🌟

My husband died, young and unexpectedly, two months ago. This song that I have loved for thirty years now has even more of a bittersweet poignancy.
“I know you’re out there
Somewhere...”
Thank you, as always. You may be driven to do what you do for you, and yet it brings others comfort and joy. Your life’s work brings me comfort, and fleeting joy, somehow even more with time.
All blessings to you, sir.
Just like Justin has shared with such depth and sincerity, your words will resonate for many years to come throughout the MB communities. May you be blessed with strength and peace.
Mom2Muses - So sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my mom in 1982 and she proved to me that, she was out there somewhere because a year and one day later, my daughter was born. Pretty amazing, being in the Navy and figuring out that you were home 52 days out of the year which would equal out to one day a week, so yes I knew she was out there somewhere and you can rest assure that your husband is out there watching over you. God bless and grant you peace.
23:07 Friday 14 August 2020, Hello Mom2Muses. I have written extensively already. Please I hope it is okay if I write some more again. I feel sad with you in your Mourning Loss. Thank you for your beautiful lovely words. I concur. I truthfully empathise with you so very much. In 1970 I lost My Young Mother Tragically. Tragic Complications Childbirth Loss Blood. Frightened new-teenage girl in High School in First Form/Year Seven. Circa 2 years later was my first discovery of The Moody Blues via radio. The Moodies' work comforted me during my devastating time and has been bringing me comfort and joy, and continues now bringing me much comfort and joy, for circa 48 years. My youngest Sister survived and she will be 50 years old later 2020 &, we commemorate 50 Years since we last saw our Mum and 40 years since we last saw our Dad. We are Mothers and Grandmothers Today. Our Mother and Father have been, and continue now even stronger, watching over us always. Your Husband is watching over you. God Bless you with much Peace and Joy. Thank you very much. Tasmania, Australia.
MAC TRUQUE Thank you. Hoping for some peace.
Chris Strange Thank you, Chris.
What a remarkable thing to have happened to you. I hope it brought you some peace.
Fabulous performance of such a gorgeous song! Thank you, Justin, Julie, Mike, and Karmen! (I was there.) :)
You lucky, lucky lady!!!
@@MoodyMike007 So lucky indeed!!! It was the most wonderful show! I'm emotional now to see it again.
The reverence you show your studio tools, engineered by others with their arcane knowledge, shows (to me) a deep appreciation of our interdependent love and history
Love from across the pond. My song for living in England 🏴. I
I have absolutely LOVED the MOODY BLUES for decades..I can remember where I was when the songs came out..I remember the words..I cant explain his music has made me feel ..I love his voice soooooo much!
I love this Tuesday Afternoon series. I had not heard of this before. I'm hooked. Aren't the two ladies the same who were with The Moody Blues in the 2007 concert at U.S. Cellular Pavilion, Gilford, NH?
I was there with my son back then!!! Ray Thomas was still there!!
i love it so much
Amazing
They put out a lot of sound for a 4-piece band without a drummer and bass player. WOW!
You sound great Justin! Always brings tears to my old eyes.
Lucky me.I saw the Moodies sing this live. Not once, but twice.
I saw the Moodies in The Hague, I think early '90-s. After the break the lights went off and out of full darkness the Moodies started ... "I know you're out there somewhere, somewhere". Very impressive, every time I hear the song that moment comes back to me.
Same thing happened when I saw them.. It was magical x
I saw it 2 times also.
I've been blessed enough to have seen The Moodies 4 times and Justin solo twice. I made sure my sons' first concert was The Moodies when they played The Greek. They were born in the 90's and I wanted them to see a real band that makes their own music. I was pregnant with my 3rd son at the time so technically he went too, lol. He has Down Syndrome but is a total classic rock fan with his top three being Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, and The Moody Blues.
+cryslovesmusic Same here....both times in Philly. One of my favorite bands.
Hello Justin...been waiting for this
Thanks for supporting my music ❤️I'm so grateful and I hope you never stop being a fan, I would like to honor you by giving you my personal information if that's ok by you.
05:18 Wednesday 12 August 2020 Thank you so very much Justin Julie Mike and Karmen. This is wonderful. G Major. Love your Musicianship. Thank you for telling the story and performing for us :) !! Tasmania Australia.
💙
Cheers Justin thanks for keeping the memories alive
Awesome
This is my favorite song by The Moody Blues. Great job, Justin and company!
I think the only reason I survived my teen years (1968-1974) was because I could lose myself in my Moody Blues albums. I would lie on my bedroom floor and listen to my albums over and over until the pain went away. Now, 50 years later, Justin's voice still has the power to calm my aching heart and mind. Thank you, Justin, John, Graeme, Ray and Mike. Forever grateful in Canada.
It was truly amazing to be there. Justin’s songwriting is unmatched, and he plays with passion and zest with a talented band. I was crying and smiling to see this last stop on his tour last year. We know how he loves to play and tours almost non stop, and stops were scheduled for only months later in Florida ( April). Not to be, but we are hoping “someday.” In the meantime what a gift.
He finally made it to FL in Sept/Oct '21. I saw him Oct 9 and he was fabulous! Same pure voice and lyrics. His guitar sang its own song. Perfection. Hope you got to see him!
Hi, Justin, how are you doing on this Tuesday afternoon ! I have always loved this song! Greetings from Jacksonville, Florida U.S.A.
I was fresh out of college when this song and the album came out. Ahh the memories. Thanks Justin.
It sounds even better than the studio version, amazing! Thank you, Justin, for bringing so much joy into my life with your music... I know The Moody Blues only for one and a half year but it was enough for me to understand that no other band will ever take its place in my heart as my #1 💙 Stay safe, hugs from Brazil!
WOW WOW TY
Good Tuesday afternoon Justin. This is the song we used for my wife Dorothy to come down the isle when we got married.
Oh wow! How special! I bet she was beautiful.👰🥰👰
@@MamaPinks Thank you! It will be 21 years ago this December.
@@chrisstrange9335 BEAUTIFUL!
I'm almost 10 years with my husband!
@@MamaPinks That's great!!!!!! All the music we had in the wedding was from the Moody Blues. They have certainly kept us going.
@@chrisstrange9335 soo romantico! I love it! We had Pink's song "Glitter" sung a capella at ours. We got married on a racetrack so there wasn't any reception, we just did a motorcycle track day and rode all day long with our friends.
I know the radio edit for this song drops my favorite verse "The words that I remember from my childhood still are true, that there's none so blind as those who will not see. And to those who lack the courage, say it's dangerous to try, well they just don't know that love eternal will not be denied". Kind of sad that I can't find that verse in any of the live versions either.
So nice and delightful to hear and see today. Thank you Justin and Mike and Julie and Karmen.
Another wonderful song.xx beautiful Tuesdays now
Fun tune. .a fine work...
I am a 6-year Navy veteran of the Vietnam War Era and "I know you're out there somewhere" has always been my favorite song. Somehow it always brings a tear to my eye in a good way. Thank you Justin. Thank you.
Thank you for your service. 💕🇺🇲
@@tammy5926 You are welcome. Take care. I still listen to Moody Blues on my cassette player.
@@ScireMi Awesome! I think we still have some old Moody Blues on eight tracks somewhere laying around. Haha
Justin, I have loved your music since the first day I heard the Moody Blues back in high school in 1975. No other rock band compares with the beauty and feelings given in your music. What a gift God has given you and the others in the Moody Blues. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the memories I go back to every time I hear a song by your band.
A truly beautiful version of this song.
Thank you 🙏
IN my minds eye I can see all The Moody Blues on stage playing this.
One word,... Amazing! Thank You, Justin.
Hi Justin, I really appreciate the wonderful introductions you are doing with this series. Thanks again for posting these up on youtube.
Just an amazing group that Justin has put together. Thank you for this beautiful music.
Oh my, is this the best version of IKYOTS (always my fav. song of the 80s) I’ve ever heard? Yes, I think it is!! Bravo!
Always loved this song. Inspirational and uplifting. Great song from a band that was doing it right since the 60's.
I saw Petula Clark in concert, and she open the show with this song.
🤗🤗🌹
Absolutely fabulous!! 😊 ❣️ 😉
thank you justin for being an inspiration al those decades .you sir are a legend although you will proberbly disagree being modest as you are .thank you for all those years of music and thank you for being Justin hayward my longtime hero !
What an impact the Moody Blues have made to music, they were one of a kind.
I love this song; however, whenever I search for a live version that has the full studio recording (6:37), all I find are versions just under 5 minutes! This is very disappointing, as the music and lyrics that are left out really bring the song to fruition! Well, as the title of the song suggests...I know you're (the full live version) out there somewhere! God bless!
One of my favorites and the flute just makes it more special.
The Moodies used to come through Chicago in the summer and then again in early winter. I don't know how many times I've heard it live.. When Sur la Mer came out I took a vacation down in Florida, & despite taking several CDs with me, it was the only one I listened to all week.
Thank you for another wonderful Tuesday Afternoon, Justin!
