    I was exited for this one, and an extremely interesting video it was😊
    Reminds me of when my dad had a screw break off in a engine, took us a while to get it out but we made a plane with some tools!
    Always appreciate these video's as I'm sure you know😅😊

    Great video but how did you clean the two injector ports/housing without debris falling in to the cylinder head after? 20:40 & 20:44

      Hi
      I will show some of the port cleaning process in the injector assembly video. All you need is to vacuum clean 1st then install a bolt in the nozzle port and use a thin vacuum adapter to clean ports after you use a soft brass and plastic brush on a drill. It is doable when you take your time and take care of the injector seals. Best way to do it is with the valvecover off so you don't scratch the valvecover injector seals. Thanks for watching and for your message. I have a Ton more content coming on the F10 F11 chassis

      @@TheKeenMechanicI'm not quite sure, but I think many brake parts are the same in F10/11 and F25/26 (X3/X4).
      My next job is to "renew parts" on the rear axle brakes...

    How did you clean out the injector holes without getting debris in the engine?

      Hi
      I put an M6 bolt in the injector nozzle hole. Cleaned it and vacuumed it then pulled the bolt with a magnet😉

    Hi there, great video. just wondering what socket you used for removing the injector hold down bolt?

    • @TheKeenMechanic
      @TheKeenMechanic  Год назад +1

      If I remember correctly it was E10 internal torx socket🤝🏻

    Now I looked through almost the whole video again. I skipped a short part in the middle! 😁
    The very last part was very interesting, indeed.

      Glad you enjoyed it buddy. I try to make the videos detailed and as short as possible not to bore people. As my videos are repair tutorials and not just "rev battle" enterntaining type videos I have to cover all steps😉. Hope you get yours sorted

    What do you think caused no.1 & no.2 injectors to be rusty compared to the rest?

    • @TheKeenMechanic
      @TheKeenMechanic  Год назад

      Hi
      To me there are 2 logical explanations. 1st: due to injectors 1 and 6 being on the outer side of the engine block they will cool quicker which means they will condensate much more than the warmer 2,3,4 and 5 which are in the middle and are better insulated. Moisture sticks to cold surfaces so may be as they get cooled 1st they attract more moisture to them. 2nd: poor injector valve cover seals on 1 and 6 which allows moisture to enter. This also links to the 1st explanation. Hope this makes sense🤝🏻
