Little Woollie Crochet Tutorial - Log Cabin Square

  • In this video I show you how to crochet the Log Cabin Square using Linen Stitch. This is a great scrap busting pattern, as you only need small amounts of different colour yarns. I think it looks great with speckled/variegated yarns, but it would also be very effective in solid colours. For 8ply/DK yarn you need a 4.5mm hook, if you would like to use finer 4ply weight yarn use a 3mm hook and your squares will be smaller.
Apologies for the questionable quality of the video, I'm still learning!

What a beautiful, wonderful job, these colors are beautiful, and the stitching is also beautiful, everything is in harmony with each other! I liked it too, because it's a very closed stitch, it looks almost like a weaver did it! Congratulations! I loved your work! ❤

This is so lovely, I’ve been sharing the photo with my knit and natter group and I’m just now watching you on “slow” and writing the instructions out for them! I think this really has to be speckled yarn, doesn’t it? It just wouldn’t be the same even in a variegated yarn. Cheers from a sweltering England!

I mean, I could figure out what you were doing, but it would have been nicer to see it all. Not trying to be mean at all, just saying, that's all.
