I’ve been doing this for 50+ years I’ve never had anything unravel. I started crocheting at 8 I’m now 62. I figured this trick out because I was lazy and thought why not just crochet over it instead of tucking it in later. 50 years later it still works.

February 17, 2024, Maryland, USA: I just discovered your channel and am excited about the app! I downloaded and had fun choosing the palettes. This is so helpful for a beginner like myself. I love that with a grandson teenager, I can select a palette that favors him. For my two granddaughters, I do not have a problem. But even now, for both of them, this is a go-to. Thank you, and enjoy how they make the granny squares and do not have the tails to later deal with, but the best is no magic ring!

Thank you so much for sharing. I lost my mom who was an avid crocheter 6 months ago. Since her passing, I’ve rediscovered my love of crochet and it somehow brings us together. This was the exact method she used to crochet her grannies. I have 40 yr old, well-loved granny square blankets that she made and haven’t had one issue with stitching coming undone using this method. This is perfect.

I love the Crochet Studio app except for one thing-the advertisements! They don’t have a way to stop them or even to cancel out once they are finished. I try clicking on multiple areas of the screen until an X appears, and sometimes I even have to close the app. I suppose you need to pay for the ads to go away. Perhaps you might warn people that the app is not really “free.” But thank you for telling us about it. It is very unique.
