I'm shocked!!! I understood what you were doing! I struggle to see the stitches that crochet people see. I will try this. My only wish was that the camera go in closer when you finished off a round and was putting the hook into the top of the third stitch. I am such a visual learner. I do appreciate how you showed the entire process in normal speed and did not fast forward. Again, I am a visual learner and watching you repeat the steps was extremely helpful. Thank you

If you have a computer try that or if you have a smart tv, pull the video up on your phone and project onto your tv. I’ve been teaching a friend to crochet. It is much easier than my phone or tablet

Thank you Lori for this addicting new hobby!! I made 8 of these tonight and each one was better than the last. I experimented with my crochet hooks and I found I seem to like a G/6 hook best at this time. I’m looking forward to making my way to working with the crochet thread and tiny hook like my grandma used to make doilies.

I try to write instructions as you go. But I'd love to have written instructions for ALL your crochet patterns

We’ve come full circle, you and I. I use to quilt with you, now I just found your crochet channel. I don’t quilt anymore but crochet which my grandma also taught me when I was maybe 8. I have her hooks. She never followed a pattern, just copied doilies that were crochet by someone else. She used fine thread.

I had an elderly lady teach me the basics of crochet about 10 years ago. I guess I was practicing so much I developed tendinitis in my elbow. It was so painful that I haven’t picked up a crochet hook since then. I have, however, learned to knit. Lori, do you knit, and if so, would you do some tutorials on it? So enjoy your channel!

This is great…I’ve been crocheting for years but as I get older I struggle with making bigger projects. I’m pretty much tired of Granny Squares…I make them, then when it comes to having to join them I lose interest and they sit and sit and sit…. Doing these circles in steps is a unique way of still crocheting but being able to do so the way you have is definitely appealing…will give this process a try! You’ve gotten yourself a new subscriber! Thank you!
