Turkish Delight Laine Dankworth

Move over, Swingle Singers! Cleo Laine and John Dankworth are here to swing the socks off of Mozart's Turkish Rondo. This is the best of the performances of Cleo Laine and Sir Johnny Dankworth's Turkish Delight that I have found. I corrected the audio to two-channel mono and trimmed out their rendition of Bill (I'll post that later). I hope everyone enjoys this.

Best concert I ever went to ever in Melbourne Australia. I remember her doing duets with John’s Sax. She walked away from the Microphone a few time, boy she was a powerful singer.

That's me on the piano. I believe it was 1985 - 86 Recorded in performance at Lincoln Center NYC it was a PBS special called "The Cavalcade of Stars" Funny note ; Miss Piggy from Sesame Street was the MC.
