The Easiest Way to Make a Bootable Windows 10 or 11 USB for Free

- If you’ve ever needed to start your PC from fresh or if you’ve freshly built your very first gaming PC build, then you would have had to install an Operating System, such as Windows 10 or 11 at some point.
There are many ways you can do so that make the process as simple as possible and gone are the days that you used to grab the install disk from the store.
These days, what you’ll do is in one way or another, is create a bootable USB (or bootable drive of some sort). Then once you’ve created your bootable disk, you stick it into your PC or new PC build, boot from it and then install it onto your new storage device, such as an SSD.

Try installing another operating system and then windows or try wiping the hard drive.
Anyone else having the "FIXED" issue where Rufus won't install the .iso file onto a USB flash drive because it's removable (I'm imaging it with Windows To Go because I just need access, not a fresh installation of windows)
You don’t need any files to transfer to the usb or rufus will put itself into the usb

I would say, at least 8gb. Also depends on your other hardware too. Make sure you have at least minimum specs for your cpu and gpu as well

Yeah you'd have to, or just buy a 16 gb flag drive for like 10 bucks. You also have to format the USB drive as fat32 and set it to bootable, which will automatically delete all the files on the drive anyways.
@@terradagon258 uhhh yeah i kinda fucked up. I didnt buy a new flash drive, and fucking forgot to copy my files into my 1tb hard drive, and well lost all of the files in my 32gb drive. I felt stupid as shit. I completely forgot or didn't know tht adding OS iso into a flash drive deletes everything in the flash drive. I wish i got your response sooner and knee earlier. I didnt had the experience to install an iso into a flash drive before.

How do you remove McCafee drive encryption? I have a computer from a old job that has it on it. I want to remove everything on it and install windows 11. Will this work? I can’t bypass the pre boot screen where it asking for the info. Any suggestions on how to bypass this mcafee or just wipe the computer clean?
