    One great thing about medicat is that you can remove all tools you don't use or you don't want to use and add tools you use. Since it utilizes Ventoy you can add any other tool you use but it's not included so you can literary tailor it to your needs. I am gonna make something like medicat usb for myself but i will tailor it for my needs.

    I still have several different versions on CD in my old (and hopefully never to be used again) CD case (it has a handle and holds 80 disks, was a lifesaver / everyday work tool back in the day), plus a USB DVD-Drive (and a couple of working SATA, and even ATA drives), plus many other CD's and DVD's from back in the day before booting from USB and installing/running things from USB was possible or realistic. It is amazing, shocking and stunning as to just how much has changed and how far we have come in just the last 20-years.! PS: Just subscribed.

Do you have to subscripe to these yourself manually or are they cracked? I dont suppose he'll be able to like lent the software to us, or am I wrong?

    I did not catch mention of the size of the download or the required USB size. For anyone else wondering, the download size as of December '23 is 22 GB. I would guess a minimum of a 64 GB USB would suffice for install.
    An ISO that we could boot from DroidDrive on our phones would be awesome and I expect with some tinkering is totally possible.

      I came across this project from a RUclips video who gave it a glowing review as an IT tool. I decided to take a look at the files before I installed it and it is full of malware. Yes, I know there's bound to be a few false positives b/c it contains password cracks, but it is far more than that. The files contain spy ware, exploits, viruses, and trojans. Why in the world would an IT tool contain spy ware and browser exploits in a help guide? Many of the files have been obfuscated in way that is used to hide from AV scanners. Do NOT go plugging this into your work computers unless you are trying to get yourself fired! If you want an IT tool build it yourself or buy it from a reputable company. Scan results attached.

I guess the cheap drive must be appallingly slow but three days seems a bit much. • @chris_007
      @chris_007 Год назад

      @@jshaw4757that's still highly suspicious :/ It has too many "false positives" to install with confidence. The Lock Picker program might attribute to some of the false positives, but what about the rest? They could easily be trying to trick people into thinking its safe to download by having such a vast amount of programs on it with malicious files hidden inside them (e.g. the games, multiple versions of ransomware recovery tools, cracked tools, etc). Once a malicious program is fully installed on your system, your anti-virus is not going to fair well against it. So if it actually does contain something bad, you won't be fine when you reenable your anti-virus.
      Giving a program free rein to do absolutely anything on your computer (e.g. disguise and embed itself in your registry) is a red flag, let alone multiple programs. Personally, I'm not touching it.

No, that is not the professional approach, and we all know that you ALWAYS miss data during the pre-nuke data collection. But unless it's for a special someone, I nuke first, ask questions later. Yes, I know all the reasons and have used all the toys to make systems work again without a reinstall. And when you're 25, thats fun. When you're 50 you can't be arsed with that shit - nuke it, reinstall, done - go see Jill at the pub. And yes, Jill is the one person I would actually take the time to fix her PC correctly...
