- Kimberly Conserve says her most memorable Christmas present came to her when she was just 9 years old. It was the only gift she received that year in her native country of Belize, and it came in the form of a shoebox from Operation Christmas Child. Now a 19-year-old nursing and biology student in Chico, California, Conserve now volunteers with the same group that touched her life as a child on Christmas. #InsideEdition

My mom & I used to do this together every year before Christmas ♥️ My kids now do it too.
I remember working with operation Christmas child.
It was so much fun to pack the gifts and see the kids so happy to get them.
I remember giving a box to a little girl and she looked up at me with tears in her eyes and said this was the first gift she had ever gotten EVER. She was 8 years old.

I did two operation Christmas boxes this year and it felt so good just to pack the shoe boxes and knowing it’s going somewhere good and knowing that I’m going to make a child’s day is amazing because I get many toys for Christmas and seeing these children happy because they get a box full of hygiene products and toys is just heartwarming and makes me realize that I shouldn’t take Christmas for granted and be grateful for what you have. Please everyone go to something good for Christmas and give back to people or animals or just anything just promise me you will do something good

Around 14 years ago, I got one of these shoeboxes when I attended primary school in Jamaica. I am not sure if it was the same organization or not, but I remember how happy and excited everyone was to receive it. I still have some of the toys I got in mine.

I’m not part of any religion but I loved taking part of this with my 3 year old. He loved picking out the little gifts for another little boy.
This inspired me to go to Samaritans purse website you can create a Christmas box for them and send it for only $25! I just did one now for a boy age 5-9. I truly pray he gets it and is happy.

I remember participating in operation chrismas child from 6th to 12th grade. It was one of the things that I looked forward to the most for Christmas. I would use my own allowance to shop for the gift and I put so much thought/effort into it. I also made sure to add hygiene products too. Then I would pray over the box before I put it with the pile of boxes from other classmates that participated. I remember that extra credit was offered if we participated (which was a plus), but I did not do it for extra credit; I did it because I wanted to put a smile on a child's face. :)

I do these gifts every year since I was 4, I’m now 13. When I was 11 I saved £30 of my money to use for the boxes. Giving is the best gift people!

I was part of this wonderful job. It is just awesome to see how the kids smile when they receive their gift. The cool part is that the good news is attach to the gift. I am talking about the bible.

My family won a shopping spree when I was 12 of 100$ per child. We were allowed to shop while the store was closed. We were very poor and it is something I have never forgotten.

We did operation Christmas child at our church. We got toPackage the boxes and write a small note to whoever.after the packages were received we got to watch small videos of them opening the packages. It’s a really nice organization
