- Join in with the Restored Crew as they attempt to bring some life back into this family heirloom. Coming across a deal they couldn't resist, they guys take a chance on a 1962 C10 and a 1948 Ford, in hopes to see these ol' jewels alive and back on the road again. After hearing the stories of the previous owner, they team decides to pay a tribute to "Fireball Floyd" and design a flamin' ride that keeps the roads hot. Follow along as they give this budget build a completely new stance and a new chance at life.

Truck looked great just Red and up in the air...
I loved the truck after the wheels and paint. Not a big fan of lowering them, you didn’t go overboard. My dad had a step side that he fixed up, painted and put a 327 three speed on the tree. Blew a mustang (donkey) off the road on the way to a my baseball game. Get next light and the guy says “ what you got in that thing “ My told him and the guy was like “ guess I won’t be messing with any gm cars anymore. My father was an auto mechanic for over 50yrs. We used to work on projects together. Never forget those memories. Dad is still with us. He is 93.
This is a really good advert of what you do as a team, the project, the photography, the whole package and its you! It reflects what you are all about. Really enjoyed watching this!

My father had a ‘66 shortbed fleet with a small back window, wild ‘80s showcar scallops paint , built small block 355 , and a muncie rock crusher…the original owner had pulled the 283 and put in the built drive train and drag raced it…my father had it painted and made it into a fast show truck!!!

I've been watching you guys for a long time, since before the Turnin Rust issues a couple years ago. This might be one of yall best builds to date. The post build interview with Floyd's son put the cherry on top so to speak. Great job and yall should be very proud.

I remember when you rosted this before, but I still watched to support the channel. Its a great example of one of my favorite era of GMC trucks. I sure wish I could build or buy one similar, defintely would be a dream to drive. Its been a while since you guys have 'finished' a project in this manner. I really miss that part of the channel. Its a unique touch thats diferent these days with all the 'Will it Runs' and Barn Rescues. Looking forward to seeing whats next from you guys!

I generally prefer two headlights on these old trucks but I'm glad you kept it 'original' because those led's make it look sexy and even more beastly . A sexy fire breathing beast of a shop truck imo . Thank you for remembering Fireball . I think his son was happy about that . Yes!!! You took the 62' with ya! Had one back in the early 70's, 3 on the tree. Loved that truck, wish I still had it! Definitely a Chevy truck freak, had a 92 Cheyenne WT, ran like a champ.

Nice Truck!! If you all decide to play with the grill, staying with about the same era, a 53 or 54 Chevrolet car grill would fit between those headlights pretty well and keep it a Chevy. Good job as is! I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.
I admire and appreciate all the work that goes into making these videos and I love both of your channels. I do have one critique on this one: too much music and it felt a bit over-produced.

I would agree. I really enjoy the work and can appreciate the effort put into the production but the music to too much. It's like you are forcing your work soundtrack on me. I would much rather hear more dialog and save the music for a feature montage rather than making the whole video amontages. It gets overdone in a long running time video. I hope this isn't discouraging. Just my 3 cents.
And it's nice to have a break once in a while when you're not dealing with a rat's nest

Am i the only one who noticed how hard it was for the son to part with dads fav ride......would have been a nice touch to offer it back to the son at cost ?...or maybe its just me.....
Or in trade for another vehicle on the property.
I think the car will be in good hands and taken good care of. Knowing that puts the son at ease and carries on his dad’s wishes to keep his fav ride roadworthy for years to come.
P.s. He could always buy the car back in the future.

This one of my favorite builds/ back to life I've watched it many times I've got a 1960 C1000 and it's a slow goal to get things done but this gives me more incentive me and my son want to get it lowered like fireball down fall on the front end is the torsion bars not quite sure how to go about doing it right it's like a brick wall sometimes but haven't given up keep up the cool builds god bless
