I already fix it, it was the memory usb that was with 2 partitions, clear the usb from cmd and then format in fat32 and works.
glad you got it sorted
So my 24 pin cable flashed when I turned the power on, I tried another older PSU and updated the bios. What should I do about the new PSU, is it normal for the cable to flash when turning it on?

@@mikesunboxing Maybe next time, I did order a new one and will refund this one. It also had construction errors, a capacitor was blocking one of the slots. I ain't got time to deal with a brand new PSU.
Hi, Mike. Give Kath a hug for me.
Will do
Right, so this is why my 5600g isn't showing display on my A520M board, thanks I will be trying and updating as soon as I try
Good luck!

I have a gigabyte b550m ds3h board and looking to pair it with a 5600g and was wondering if I need to do this process or should the board be able to boot it.
the board if new should be 5000 ready but if not that board has a usb flash option
i have a 128 formatted in fat32... I used rufus, properties says its fat32. whats up with that? am I good?
fat32 is normally limited to much smaller sizes, but if it says fat32 it's fat32
@@mikesunboxing well the Rufus program converted it in a snap, I'm wondering if the Q flash can't scan a drive bigger than 32 GB? I haven't even tried yet, so I'm wondering if you know if this is the case?
Does this motherboard has dual bios?
What if power failure?
no it doesn't and power failure means bricked motherboard
@@mikesunboxing ohh better buy dual bios board
My son has just built a computer with this motherboard and a Ryzen 7 5700g processor and nothing is displayed on the monitor when he turns it on. Any thoughts? Could this be a Bios issue?
Thanks
i could be, difficult to tell, look for a ryzen 5000 series ready sticker on the motherboard box, if it has it then there is likely another problem, if there is no sticker then a bios flash is most likely needed.
feel free to head over the the discord chat in you need more help or guidance
Hello sir. Help me. My motherboard is GIGABYTE H410M S2H V2. While update the BIOS, the power goes out so the updating process interrupted. Now it won't boot and i hear 3 pause and 3 beeps again
just try the flash again and hope you can get it going again
@@mikesunboxing I just bring back the mobo to the store where i bought it and luckily they replace it
@@jenriquez4720 Great news :-)
What the difference between A520 and b550 ?🤔
the B550 is a better option for anyone looking for mild overclocking or using high core count processors
hello; does the Gigabyte B450M DS3H v1 have q flash ?
no it doesn't
Is it also possible, if the system is complete build? (CPU, RAM are installed)...
yes it is
Is it safe to jump bios versions? For example if the board comes with bios f10 can you immediately apply f15 this way?
i do
if during a bios update a power outage occurred and it bricked the mobo, will this procedure fix the mobo?
it might be able to do that, i have recovered a board from a failed flash this way on an MSI motherboard
Hello Mike ! I just bought an MSI A520 vector WIFI. Is there a Flash BIOS Button or do I need to install an older CPU instead of my new RYZEN 5 5600G to proceed with flashing ? Many thx in advance !
hopefully it will come with a suitable bios otherwise you will need a compatible CPU installed first to flash the bios, this boards does not have a flashback option
What do you lose on an A520 vs a B550 or B450 - obviously the manual overclocking, but does it still PBO?
yes it does, most of the reason is cost the a520 chipset is really cheap to make and that is passed on it seems
I have the f3 bios, can I jump directly to the f12 bios or do I have to go through the later ones first? Thanks!
i would jump to the f12 unless it specifically says otherwise on the site
Mine mobo is at f10 bios and I want to put a ryzen 5 5600g is it possible to install a bios or must I qflash it
if the system is up and running you can flash from inside the UEFI bios looks like f13 is needed for the 5600g
I have 64g usb flash drives that are fat32...it doesn’t have to be 32g or less
you can't format a drive larger than 32gb in fat32, you can shrink the partition size to allow it but fat32 has a hard limit of 32gb
You can but it requires windows powershell or third party programs I liked your video very good!!
i tried searching up bios updates for ASRock A520M/AC WiFi mATX Motherboard but couldnt find it, could you help with this please?
looks like this one www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/A520Mac/index.asp#BIOS
@@mikesunboxing thank you so much! Also quick question, are a520m motherboards good for cpus like the ryzen 5 5500? Trying to build a budget build with the asrock a520m motherboard

im getting this board with a ryzen 5 4500 but pc part picker sais i might have to do a bios update must i still do it or will the 4500 work
depends on what bios revision the board you buy ships with
still not turning on bios works but motherboard is not boot
might be worth getting a bios beep speaker to diagnose that problem
Mine has a long pause and them it just cuts out

does this board work with the 1600x without updating the bios
In theory it shouldn’t work at all but some people have said it works but I haven’t tried it
My problem is that my pc wont anymore turn on after the power suply turn off. and sry for bad english? So How the pc will turn on?
unplug and leave disconnected just it might be a thermal cut out, and check the fuse in the plug
Does this work with Asus Tuf A520? I will pair it with 5600g which I already bought. And how do I know if I need bios update or not?
no sorry that board doesn't have this feature sadly
Can i still flash the bios using qflash but with CPU installed on the motherboard?
yes you can, but they recommend to do it on a bare board
