- There aren't many cars left to buy that you can actually say you are driving something different and then there's Nissan. They have been making cool Japaese cars for decades, they just don't bring them to Ireland.
The second-hand market will do that and Kylemore cars is picking up the slack on that.

Hope all goes well with recovery Bob. We had a Nissan Cube rental car when visiting Jamaica. We nicknamed it the pig bus 😂.

Someone in the town I live in in Offaly has one. I see it regularly. I think they work in the local chippers but could be wrong.

Also the rear seat slides back and forth about 6" for more boot /rear passenger leg room, or storage space under the floor in front of rear seat, ( I keep a fire extinguisher there).
I have a 2013 Z12 cube, used, ex Japan.
These Japanese used cars are usually in near as new condition.

In the USA the shifter in the Nissan Cube was on the floor. And I noticed the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car. (Just kidding - for the European market it's right).

I parked a Cube in Bristol in the parking lot of a workshop. There were several used cars on sale, including this one. Man.aprit car and I immediately went to it. I circled around her, I was shocked by how pretty she is, how special she is. Unfortunately, after a few days, this car sold out. My mind stuck with her. ❤
Thats whats was difficult for me first arrive to Ireland from continent, how to use indicators while the same time you need to reduce a gear😂😂😂but cube is automatic 😅
Friend mine had the little Suzuki wagon r and he lived in city n thought it was fantastic car for city driving easy to park, plenty room and very cheap to run

Hi are there still insurance issues with the Japanese imports. I remember my Father having a Mitsubishi in the late 80s and having huge issues with Insurance and parts. If anyone could answer me this please

Possibly both mechanical and bodywork. Seem to remember the first lot of imports although looking identical to Irish cars were slightly different on body parts.

What electric cars have come out recently that look weird or ugly? The BYD ATTO 3 actually looks quiet normal. The MG 4 is a great looking car and so is the Mègane E-Tech.
Some ugly electric BMWs maybe but that's about it.

In Ireland Japanease imports are not great to own: they are targeted by thieves and some are also hard to insure (and expensive)...
This Kylemore is a terrible store, the trade in valuation is 30-50% the market value. All their cars are japanease imports
