Hi Mike, The drilling hole then removing the bracket is a brilliant idea for blinds that is too big, there should be a slimline version of the bracket just in case of wrong measurements.
Hi Mike, thanks for your comment. The bracket is the bracket and should always be used under normal conditions. This idea is just a "get out of jail card" , but it's really your last resort. Cheers, Mike.

My roller blind won't roll up. It rolls up a couple of cm and then the lock clicks in.

would have been good if you could have demonstrated actually cutting the Blind..Do you also know how to correct telescoping when winding a blind?
