Love these videos that are specific to girls and improving their game...keep up the good work. I'd love to see more post specific videos!

I'm not a woman but a trick for you woman when playing, when in the post and being guarded kinda close, you can take your dominant foot and wrap it around the defenders foot behind yours. Then just do a spin move and get an easy way past your defender. I'm sorry if I said this bad.

That's what I'm talking about--- post work. I will be tapping in. Just shot this to my daughter to watch. She is 6' 3" and still growing, a junior @ seqouia in redwood city. I have been begging her to let me work with her down low, but of course parents don't know anything . Lol ! Even though me & the wife got accolades all over the house from. Our playing days. SMH !

The first AND second moves without the dribble is a travel. When you catch the ball with both feet on the ground and lift the left, your right becomes your pivot foot. If you lift your pivot foot, you must shoot or pass before the foot returns to the floor. Coach should know this.

This video is to work on footwork but please feel free to send over a clip and I’ll add it to my videos.

@@coachshegotgametv5586 doing a lousy job if you’re teaching traveling in your instruction of footwork. Do better.

Helpful. The student travels (shuffles her feet) on every drop step.
I only wanted to point it out so that those who watch do not think it is ok to do that.

Question off the dome for you:

Should you dribble for the second move before taking two steps?

You can but that gives the defense an opportunity to adjust

    • @moejoeryzen2983

The 1st and 2nd moves are a travel under US Highschool and College rules. I would suggest you dribble.
