I had a similar experience with this fragrance… it didn’t grab me immediately but after about a week it has become one of my favorites.

I love the luna rossa line too
luna rossa black is still my favorite, i also love sport, both make me feel very confident, unlike dior, yves saint laurent etc, both prada and chanel make very uplifting and confident boosting fragances, to me they are the top designer houses IMO, any other luna rossa that i should add to my collection? i got sport and luna rossa black.
I live in New Hampshire and I bought this in January. Liked it but wasn’t blown away by it. Left it on the shelf for winter and started wearing it again in June and Wow! Totally surprised me and I have been wearing it all summer and been getting lots of compliments. Definitely a summer and fall scent!!
Oddly enough, this is a very unique scent. It’s a fun clean scent with a minty vibe to my nose. I actually really like it. The dry down is where the fun bit comes in. The opening ropes you in and then the dry down is completely unique.

Lunna Rossa black, carbon, L’homme all have goldy lox performance for me. Pure class

Performance? Not great with this one for me. It smells very nice but performance/longevity is not there...sad :(

I get mass compliments on this one! Even wearing in winter season although it's been unusually warm so far this winter. I'd definitely buy again. I actually returned A gifted Christian Dior sport which is decent but not my style for this Prada ocean. Although I'm a Huge fan of Christian dior especially homme and Jimmy Choo man ice citrus style fragrances.
Just bought this it is an amazing fragrance just so pleasant and strong ! It’s got some cool water notes as well

Bought this today. It went up against ADG Profondo, Hermes H24, and YSL Y Parfum. Prada LR Ocean just stood out and won me over in the end.

Just recently added this to the collection and wore it yesterday and you definitely get the compliments with this one. Got at least 6 compliments and some folks I saw turn their heads to smell so I m happy with my purchase
what kind of performance are you getting?
@@amunra_ the performance isn’t the best. I get about 5-6 hrs on my skin. Go ahead and get the EDP

@@Shadowman-1960 trust I was surprised too but I work in a big office and the count was cheated a bit because two came from my parents who were visiting at the time and one from the girl I was dating at the time 😂
Great review! Love how Ocean settles into that mid. Summer signature scent worthy and not beast mode which I like.
It’s a solid release. I think if you’re a fan of most Prada fragrances you’ll like this one too. Stays true to that soapy clean vibe you get from most of their fragrances. Totally my jam.
Sadly doesn’t stay true to the LR vibe.
It's funny you posted this because Prada Black is my fragrance of the day. I smelled Ocean at Macy's a few days ago and it was love at first sniff. It's on my list of Must Cops once the price drops 👍🏿👍🏿

To me, the opening smelled very similar to an old Zara fragrance I can't quite put my finger on. An amusing first impression to be sure. Absolutely agree with your assessment of the mid Ash. Another great review!
I got this sample as a gift and i love it. I find every other fragrance ive had is too fruity. Its not too loud and it fades perfectly

I also love this scent! After the OG its my favorite out of the line. Sadly it lacks longevity and lasts way too short :(
Maybe its my dry skin but I checked on different people and that wasnt much better.
A shame since I LOVE the smell and the "leather-like" vibe. Its pretty unique.
If we're lucky, they'll make something like Luna Rossa _Deep_ Ocean.

This is definitely the trickiest cologne I own. I think it’s so prone to change depending on weather, soap, and deoderant. Normally when I wear it out in San Antonio it smells like Chanel Blue, but when I went to Vegas in November the cologne smelled soooooooooo different. Very clean and oceanic and the smell lingered for such a long time and I’m not sure what I did differently.
Love this one. Reminds me of Cool Water in a modern way. The lavender and aquatic notes are so nice.
I didn‘t like it at first, but it has really grown on me since. Super solid fragrance. Give it a try!

Tested this at Macy’s today. HAD NO CLUE IT WAS NEW.
Was in one of my FAVE along with Invictus Legend, BDC Parfum, and CK Eternity Parfum.
Sauvage Elixir is A lot different than the OG, and I say Elixir had a very vanilla profile. (Literally the plant vanilla, not vanilla as a negative connotation)
Chanel EGOISTE Platinum is super weird to me.
All in all, Invictus Legend is one of my favorite fragrances from Macy’s.
I loved it the first time I smelled it. Fresh and crisp. Pretty nice.
Out of the Luna Rossa line, my Favs went Black, then Carbon. Now…Black, Ocean, Carbon.
I was kinda surprised that would happen, but, here we are.

i smelled gentleman edp for the first time today . And i dont regret it . I reaaly like it . Cozy fragrance it is for me .
I don't get the hate for this fragrance. Sure, it's not a unique fragrance but it's a unique take on a "blue" fragrance. I love the smell. It's my second favourite of the Luna Rossa line. First is Luna Rossa Black.

For me it has grown on me. I wouldn't mind it once it hits discounters but to be honest right now this and Ralph's Club are the same size and same price. I'm taking the Ralph Lauren due to better projection and longevity. I do like this scent though but I couldn't imagine making this my signature scent due to the price and longevity of it.

Yea I love Ocean, I think its dry down is pretty unique compared to others. Opening familiar but really awesome
I love the ocean too, but the drydown gives me itchy skin, it's the salt. I usually shower after using the ocean. In my hair ocean has a nice beachy effect though.

I’m not the biggest fan of any of the Luna Rossa DNA, but I like this one…and it’s the best bottle too. I’ll wait for discounters.

@@jasonrodgers993 no not really. If you’re looking for citrus, or soapy, or powdery, or even blue style, there are others that I like better. I think that Versace has better citrus or blue fragrances, and I think Prada LHomme does powdery and soapy much better.

For some reason my nose is super sensitive to artemisia which is listed as a top note in Ocean. I'll give it a shot next time I'm at my local mall. Could end up digging it
This took me a bit to find. I’ve had this since not long after release. Did not like it, AT ALL.😂 I got Givenchy Society and the Y EDP Intense. Both within 2 weeks. Trying to find something new.. a bit different. Nothing groundbreaking. Wore them both and then literally just today, I saw this sitting in the back. I took it out, since I was about to have a shower after racquetball. I thought I’ll give it a try. Lo’ and behold, for whatever reason, I now love it. I’m not sure how this works. Did I change that much since 2021, but the wife then admitted to me that she wears it occasionally cause she loves it. Mind blown. So I came to find this video, Ash. This whole dancing on the fence you’re doing here has me laughing. I’m with you now. It took over a year, but here I am.😂🙋🏽♂️

Second day wearing the fragrance. I must say I likey!!!! Everyone’s complaining about the longevity a friend of mine smelled it on me hours after I couldn’t anymore and it was well past 6 hrs since I applied it. It’s a blue floral fragrance is that not unique? Nothing like it in my collection n definitely doesn’t smell like Bleu De Chanel to me. If u like iris i thinks it’s worth at least a sample.
i will always have room for any combination of prada and iris

I bought this after smelling H24, Bleu Electric and this one (and Elixir bit too expensive lol) at the retailer. I was really surprised how much I liked this one. I bought it over the others and can't stop wearing it ever since.

@@cull15 don’t buy it it’s an ok fragrance but it’s nothing spectacular it’s not any way better than the other Prada especially carbon I eventually gave it to somebody when I should have returned it I wouldn’t buy this again especially at $100 it’s not worth it but if you like it give it a try it’s your money that your spending!

It's a creamy blue with iris and this freshness but not a freshness like clean linen butore like minty fresh undertones. Really like it...
It's my daily driver for work. Very fresh scent. I like it alot.

To me it has similarities to Joop Jump with more of a modern woodsy smell when it dries down. I also think they may have wanted to call it Luna Rossa Blue but thought that was too boring. Though I think something else that’s associated with blue would have worked better than Ocean.
This is my new favorite. I'm a Dior Sauvage guy but this is phenomenal
I got the whole line. Except Luna Rossa Ocean, but I tried it twice. I actually very very liked it at first already and I didn't get all the hate about it :\ I usually get Versace dylan blue, but when Ocean hits the discounters, ohh man I'm going to go for it big time.

Dylan Blue is my go to, would you say Ocean is similar?
@@noodles6131 No, it's different, totally. Because it's meant to be a blue fragrance, people are trying to compare it to something else which is similar, like dylan blue or bleu de chanel. Again, very different, to me, better than the other two which I mentioned. Try it out before you buy it.

Couple days ago I sprayed it in Duty free it was unique...on my bucket list.
I like the smell a lot especially the opening but performance on my skin was horrible..

Strange not a single mention of the toffee I pick up when it dries down. Yes, it is definitely in there. It was the only thing that saved the fragrance for me.

This one smells incredible. Mass appealing. I only wish the iris was stronger and the caramel as well. If that were the case and the longevity was better, this one would be my new signature scent. I blind bought this one because its Prada and has iris so I knew it would be decent but its much better than just decent overall but man I wish they would have boosted the levels if iris and caramel. 9 out of 10 in my book and better than the EDP imo.. Yes its similar to BDC but this one has its own shine and style. Ill be rockin this one for a while. May even layer it with Prada L'homme.

I just bought this but I can barely smell it, even when sticking my nose in it. The batch code checks out as being created 7 months ago, so that's not too bad. I'm wondering if I'm nose blind to the ingredients or maybe it's just a very light sent. Getting the feeling this may be a fragrance for outside on a hot day to activate it. It's rare I have this issue but I'll keep wearing it and see if things improve.
Used a tester just now, definetly needs some heat/sweat to come to life. More of a warm fragrance for sure. At first it smells like alcoholic ethery cheap stuff, but it needs 5 minutes to warm up, then it packs a very classy punch.

Ash, , IMO your correct on the opening, way too familiar. Not sure it’s worth buying. Maybe I’ll test it again. I have Channel EDP and Parada L’Homme, both have excellent longevity on my skin and big compliment getting. 👊🏼

From the sprayer I thought it smelled just like dylan blue. But its more complex than that. I prefer dylan blue, but this has a twist that I havnt seen in a blue fragrance.

Not aquatic at all but a deeper fresh and warm comfortable fragrance. I’ve received many compliments and I happen to love it 🌟
