The “ocean” tag kinda has to go in my opinion. I swear with each release we get further and further away from anything “ocean” related 😂
No, the ocean is where the big shots at prada have their private yachts. That's why it costs so much.
you should do your research on Prada.
If you look at where the America Cup was held In 2023 it was the red sea. And that's why I feel like the bottle is red. And the luna rossa is Pradas racing yacht. I think the gradiance of each flanker bottle is supposed to represent a different ocean. 4 different oceans in the world means we might see an Ocean Elixir. Or something resembling there new boat they just launched.
What about "Cool Water" 725th flanker? 😅
Honestly, I kind of like the Ocean name. I usually can’t stand aquatic, salty, watery fragrances on my skin - just a personal distaste. PLR Ocean is the only line that actually makes me think of the deep cold blue ocean, without being any of those things.
Drop a cold weather designer scent and stick a $175 price tag on it.

@PoisonTick Roughly 10% of the world's population live in the southern hemisphere and of those many live in poverty. It makes far more sense to market for the northern hemisphere.
Aside from a few limited edition summer flankers, fragrances don’t release according to season.

As someone who did not care for the EDT, I am really enjoying this new Ocean Le Parfum.
the bottle looks so cool, honestly I like the Ocean EdP more than any other Luna Rossa so I gotta try this!
This one grows on you. Liked it on the 25th - 4th wear today.... love it.
Next will be Lunna Rossa Ocean Elixer Pollution.These fragrance houses are really milking it out.

Thanks for the great review. I just picked this up today. Honestly, I didn't expect to like this, but after going through and smelling many on the best fragrances on the market, I ended up choosing this one along with the Bleu de Chanel EDP.
We needed Luna Rossa Extreme back, that has been my favorite out of all
Great video as always, Ash. Fragrances are subjective. Like music, visual art and fashion. At this level of designer fragrances, there is no “bad”. It’s simply if you like it or not. It doesn’t matter what others say. If you like, wear it.

I tested it the other day. The drydown is a wonderful sweet tobacco. It's a unique fragrance, reminds bits and pieces from other fragrances.but it goes its own way. I like it!

Hello, I always enjoy watching your show that now inspire me to start collecting different colognes or perfumes for men but now I have a question does the perfume expire ?
Perfume can expire, it depends on the date of manufacture (you can tell this by checking the the batch code online) and how it’s stored (heat and sunlight will make it expire faster). If it’s stored correctly, the shelf life is typically around 7 years after opening / spraying. If it’s exposed to heat and sunlight then maybe only 3-5 years. Of course, some last longer much longer than 7 years.

It has this old school scent, something from the 90s and early 2000s.
I recently tried it and really liked it.. it personally reminded me of Tom Ford Black Orchid along with some hints of Gucci Guilty Black..
I have the EDP and I like it as a fall/spring or cool summer evening scent, but it’s not a love. Also, as everyone mentions, the name is misleading and confusing. With a name like ocean you’d be expecting a fresh and aquatic summer fragrance. Even the edt, which is the closest to that, still isn’t. I knew as soon as I saw the bottle for the Parfum that it would not be something I’m interested in at this time of year. Maybe this fall I’ll give it a try.
I tried at the mall last week and I don't really like it. After I sprayed on my hand, I can't stand so I rush to the restroom and wash it off. I was so excited about this fragrance and hopefully I can add to my collection but looks like the Prada Luna Rosa Ocen Le Parfum will NOT be in my collection

Overall this reminds me of a darker ocean edp. Just this is more woods and amber while the edp had more spice and vanilla. It’s nice but def not worth the price. I still enjoy the edt and edp more

It’s sooo basic, but not in a bad way, necessarily. You’re so correct in the fact that it smells like a hundred other men’s fragrances I’ve smelled before. I personally would never spend money on this. Nothing about it stands out and it’s really not amazing in any way.
why are they fixated on LR Ocean? I for one would like to see a LR Carbon Eau de Parfum before they elixir this one
Because L’Oréal took over and Prada’s previous perfumer, Daniella Andrier, is no longer there. L’Oréal wants to follow trends

I get that Prada is making a lot of money with the ocean line, and while I do enjoy Ocean Edt, I reach for Luna Rossa Sport significantly more.

I still prefer the EDT over all the flankers. The Le Parfume smelled like straight chocolate in the open, to me. most certainly let it sit on the skin for a while before deciding if you like it.

That’s some third party seller using Walmart as a store front. It’s not being sold by Walmart directly. It’s also way overpriced.
So don't judge me on my opinion here. I have had the EDT & currently own the EDP of ocean. But I genuinely feel like it is completely average asf. Like after 2 hrs on my skin barely smell it. Then after the opening the mid I don't bounce of it like YSL or JPG houses bring. I actually prefer Prada black over the lot of these. So what am saying I just find them quite disappointing. I expect a stack more then what is offered.

It should have been called Luna Rossa Forest.
Smelled this in store unlike I’ll say some of the elixirs like sauvage and Gucci the quality doesn’t justify the price tag
My favorite from this line is BLACK…hands down the best one I’ve smelled and own…
I was at Sephora yesterday with my wife and tried all three of these then smelled Valentino Green Stravaganza and bought the Valentino.
Don’t get me wrong these Prada is amazing and I also love Prada homme which has a great dry down fresh scent and to me Valintimo Green Stravaganza is similar to Prada homme but just a different fresh scent which is why I liked it better than Luna Rosa Ocean and Ocean Parfum…these are excellent blue but to me Dilan Blue by Armani is the best choice and last longer than my beloved Bleu de Channel Parfum (gold label).
It reminds me of a bit more woody Polo Red Parfum

Inflation is out of hand and economy sux so let's make colognes even more expensive. Great idea
In the opening there is grapefruit but very quickly all I can smell is a woody INCENSE. In the end it sweetens a little like vanilla. Mid is massively into incense. Somehow all Prada smell nice to me, this one is not my best though.

Blind bought at retail price, because I smelled ocean and loved it. Let’s just say was not impressed hope the sent grows on me more just disappointed it will sit in the shelf until winter

It's one of my favorites. Intoxicating smell. Just something you don't want to wear at home or office because you don't go nose blind to it. So you will get sick of it. Same as 1 million EDP. Both are sickeningly sweet like that. Very different smells. Something to wear for late night where you catch whiffs of it. But definitely don't want to sit in the smell all day. Love it.
so this is gonna be the year when all the designer fragrances will go over 150$..
