Yea I was a little confused at the final 3. I thought Luna Ocean lost when it went up against Invictus Aqua. At least that's what the poll said but I'm sure it was just an oversight.
Ash, how do you support your shelves ? All the perfumes must add up to be quite heavy. My own shelf just broke down and I am trying to figure out what to do next
Look at the Elfa shelving systems available at The Container Store. Their system of a horizontal track to hang the vertical shelf supports can hold a lot more weight than even Ashton’s shelving with much less hardware. I’m sure there are copies of these but lower quality at Home Depot.
How do you like it? I've smelled it a few times and my gf complimented it right away when I tested it in the mall. I think it's a little boring but it smells nice
I have profondo and im actually disappointed about the performance and projection , it stays long enough but it becomes a skin scent , i have to smell it off my skin in order to smell it ,i need a long lasting ,projecting ,summer /blue frag,i havent found one yet
Prada luna rossa ocean performs really well and last at least 6h with projection. Better spray 10x after shower and last a gpod amount of time. Plus couple of sprays on the clothes to wrap it up. Bought on summer holidays and its nearly finish. Im buying again. I have dior ,versage eros edp ,ysl bleu eletrique, gucci guilty edp,and i love the prada most
I personally don't get the hype with Luna Rossa Ocean.. it's generic and slightly synthetic from my experience.. now at times it somewhat reminded me of OG Ralph Lauren Polo Sport which I'm a big fan of, but overall I'm not a fan of Ocean..
Huge mistake adding ADG. Huge!!! it’s the fragrance equivalent of the movie Titanic. No matter what you do, people are always going to pick it. You have to do it again, maybe call it a true blue fragrance showdown, This time, please add D&G Light Blue Intense. My guess, it goes head to head in the finals with Versace Dylan Blue. @@gd1222 it's definitely not your traditional blue.. its definitely better than BDC which people compair it to but I find it closer Bvlgari Tyger with a hint of BDC with a twist on both!! It's my favorite right now!

For me it performs 10+, especially so during the summer. I just get so nose blind to it but when i take a break and come back, i notice the performance is great. There is talk of different formulations tho for sure

I get more compliments wit Acqua Essenziale Blu and Prada Luna Rossa Ocean in 1 day than with Profondo the whole year. I think if you let people blind test these, Profondo will end up last. People that voted just never smelled those other fragrances.
I like Ocean a lot, but most of the general public will like Profondo more. There both very likable, but the iris in Ocean may not be liked by some, whereas there is nothing in Profondo that is unlikable. 99% will like Profondo, 95% will like Ocean...
Me to man I think the people who voted on that has never smelled aqva atlantique. Because it smells better and more unique and last way longer than Dylan blue

ADG profumo is my absolute favourite. Yes, even Sauvarge and Bleu de Chanel. For science, you should have kept out ADG profudo. You should have know how we feel about ADG. I voted. Whenever I see ADG, I didn't even try to recall how the other fragrances smell like. 🤣🤣🤣
ADG Profondo's more of a baby blue fragrance than a blue fragrance to me. It leans too far towards warm weather for me to call it a true blue fragrance

My first blue fragrance was Dylan Blue. Blind buy following a Jeremy Fragrance video in which he stated that it smells better than Dior Sauvage, better performance and less expensive. At first I was happy with it until I discovered that I became nose blind from it in less than an hour. People around me hardly could smell it and got zero compliments. I received a Dior Sauvage EDT afterwards that last me all day with solid projection. For me there’s no contest between the two of them. However I’m not as much fan of the fragrance as I used to be, I prefer BDC EDP. I also don’t understand the hype of Profondo, I find Profumo having much better smell and performance and it’s a monster of compliments.
I agree that BDC EDP outshines sauvage and ADG Profumo is far superior to profondo. I actually think profondo is wicked overrated and is kinda lame. I had an continue to have the exact opposite experience with Versace Dylan Blue though. It was my first Bleu cologne and I keep a bottle around to this very day and I love it's scent and IV had people follow me around the grocery store and at the Hampton Beach casino one summer day asking me what I was wearing. To each his own though right?

I’d give this a 9/10. Very solid. A lot of heavy hitters. I would suggest getting PDM Layton, JV Artisan Pure, Mmsai Into Me, and Nishane Hacivat to further round out your growing collection. Judging by what you already have, I think you’d like those. You need some things to wear in the high heat which is why I suggested Into me and artisan pure. Layton and Hacivat are great entry level niche options
I like your collection so far. You've got a solid base there and have most situations covered with your picks. A few I'd recommend to you based on what I own would be Le Male Le Parfum, Stronger With You Absolutely and Armani Code Absolu.

My current mainstream blue fragrance choice would be Fusion d'Issey, which is very underrated in my opinion. Shower gel scent with a coconut undertone. Regardless, I highly respect AdG Profondo and how it ties in seamlessly with the legend OG AdG by modernizing it to fit today's tastes.
I actualy have that one and it has a "lactonic" or "milky" effect that i don't like too much on my skin... Other than that, i really like it, although i prefer K EDP (i find both similar).
I had heard how great Profumo was, but when I smelled them side by side, it wasn't that close for me. Profundo was far and away the better smell for me. It is at the top of the heap for me, just very slightly above D&G Light Blue Intense. I have Bleu de Chanel Parfum...but consider it a little more formal...and evening.
I used to love Atlantique, loved the smell. Than one day I smelled the eggy thing. Maybe that smell comes when juice turns bad? Maybe that's an answer to that unpleasant smell.
Just wanted to let people know and I am definitely not one to hype generic or blue fragrances but I recently purchased a sample of Afnan Highness VI… it’s amazing.. strong and really great. I had Afnan his Highness (green) and it was amazing as well but way to strong. Fragrancesnet sells them for $64.

I disagree, I had a sample of Acqua Dio Gio Profondo. And I really didn't think it smelled all that great. It smells fresh but it had a dirtiness to it that was off putting to me. I believe the only reason people say it's the best blue fragrance is because how popular the name is. That's like saying airpods are the best earbuds.

We all know that Dylan Blue is the ultimate blue fragrance matched only by the big 3 (BdC, DS and Y). Dare I say, for me it is even better than Sauvage and Y.

Tournaments are a great idea, but matchups and scents that truly fit the category def need to be better thought out.

Kinda surprised not one iteration of the D&G light blue line was included.

I had heard how great Profumo was, but when I smelled them side by side, it wasn't that close for me. Profundo was far and away the better smell for me. It is at the top of the heap for me, just very slightly above D&G Light Blue Intense. I have Bleu de Chanel Parfum...but consider it a little more formal...and evening.

Aqva atlantique is miles ahead of Dillion blue what is wrong with you guys. You guys most definitely haven’t smelled atlantique
For me Coach is the best scent over all and the most versatile..

I used to love Atlantique, loved the smell. Than one day I smelled the eggy thing. Maybe that smell comes when juice turns bad? Maybe that's an answer to that unpleasant smell.
Profondo and Azzaro Chrome Extreme are almost the same fragrance, Azzaro last 8 hours.

Just wanted to let people know and I am definitely not one to hype generic or blue fragrances but I recently purchased a sample of Afnan Highness VI… it’s amazing.. strong and really great.
I had Afnan his Highness (green) and it was amazing as well but way to strong.
Fragrancesnet sells them for $64.
Any scent profile that you noticed was reminiscent to other scents? Or is it just a new creation in itself?

Fresh opening but spicy dry down.. really heavy stuff too.

Dylan Blue would have crushed Ocean, Invictus and Coach if they were matched up.
I disagree, I had a sample of Acqua Dio Gio Profondo. And I really didn't think it smelled all that great. It smells fresh but it had a dirtiness to it that was off putting to me. I believe the only reason people say it's the best blue fragrance is because how popular the name is. That's like saying airpods are the best earbuds.
So, people voted for the best selling and/or ones they had in their collection already? Shocking ;-)

@@Ben-jq3ov pretty amazing as other Mancera fragrances. I could still catch a whiff of it one week later off my jacket that I wore that day. In my opinion its hugely underrated, cause you don't hear people talking about it that often.

@@Ben-jq3ov I know I sound like I work for them, but yeah give it a go! But keep in mind that to many it's not a "typical" blue fragrance.
@@Ben-jq3ov it’s above average. It’s not your typical blue. A little pachouli and moss and the caramel note makes it really sweet.
I layered MB explora with atlantique and received a wonderful compliment ☺️☺️☺️
I love ocean but it lasts around 3hrs and completely vanishes on my skin

We all know that Dylan Blue is the ultimate blue fragrance matched only by the big 3 (BdC, DS and Y). Dare I say, for me it is even better than Sauvage and Y.
