- We introduced the brand new HTC One to the world in both London and New York on 19 February, 2013. Here are the video highlights of the day from the event led by HTC CEO Peter Chou in London.

understand that a camera's image quality is not based solely on the megapixels it has, it just means that the picture can be bloated to large images. the main thing that htc is touting would be the fact that the images produced from this camera are much more crisp due to the amount of light being taken in each shot, since it have two 4 megapixel sensors.

Correction, There are 2 pieces of 4 MP UltraPixel camera on the HTC One.
I also have Desire HD. Even its 4 years old devide, it is still great.
HTC is very UNDERRATED and UNDERESTIMATED:(

Some people are just being too ignorant to admit the beauty of this phone.
Now please let this flagship phone shine for the year without completing with another HTC monster.
Realize that that the fact that the phone has a lower megapixel count is the reason that the photo quality is so good. Too many megapixels on a small phone sensor result in noisy pictures. A 13MP phone would be a good idea if HTC managed to dramatically increase the sensor size, but until then, 4MP is an excellent choice.
No one paid attention to that dancer. They were all captivated by the gourgeoous HTC One.
I kinda have the feeling that the real Flagship will be announced at MWC

I like the usefulness of sense 5 more but if they could merge that with the looks of sense four then I think that would just be perfect

htc please advertise this well, obviously you can't do as heavy advertising as Samsung but maybe you could do a few well thought out ads
did he mention about the front loud speaker(so called the boom sound technology) that directly shoot the sound to your ear will 'boom' your ear to deaf while you make calls with sudden apps sound/alarming sound ! htc forgot to compliance a very basic SAFETY design to put loud speaker at the back.

the Snapdragon 800 will not be available in ANY phones until the second half of this year, at the earliest.. Think its something similar with the gorilla glass 3..
So really the phone has everything of the "newest".. But yeah its the camera that makes me somewhat sceptical..
I currently have the HTC Hero, I know that the One and S4 are really fast but, I am using the ipod Touch 5G and the screen is perfect I was just pointing oit that some people want bigger screens.
I wonder if you can make it to where blink feed isn't your home screen
HTC, you should release a "plastic" variant of your ONE. That way its cheaper , light weight and it wouldnt leave dents on the phones.

You think so? those sammy fans mustve had a big impact on you. The 2 fastest, most beastly phones on the market are the HTC One and the S4.
"the screen is smaller"? Only by a little. 5 inches VS 4,7. If you ask me, this is right just right for a lotof people. some would want bigger, some would want smaller. HTC, you really should make a high end phablet.
i hope Samsung S4 came out with the Live Home Screen!!

Who knows... I have an HTC Desire HD, 8MP camera, kind of old but a very good device. Need to compare their photos sometime.

I think they just need creativity, Like Microsoft, you pay a smalll fee, and you can use banners on the public bus, bus stop, etc. This phone has a killer design it doesn't need so much advertising about specs.

man really got confuse of all this HTC ONE. I just waste 30minutes on the previous video just to realizes it was the 2012 model htc one. can they come up with a name??????
I'm guessing they did not use an HTC on to make this video, because in low light conditions the video quality is poor.

But the S4 is a fail. The HTC one is getting more recognition. I can bet that this phone is going to be one of the best selling phones of the year. HTC, if youer seeing this, nobody is going like the S4 and now is the chance to sell phones. Get more recognition and after a few quality phones, you'll be a religion. Then you could hire more developers. Remember how much Samsung grew in 3 years? The one is going to mark the new era. Im Taiwanese and im proud of you, supporting you all the way.
Yeah right, i have read all about it, maby you could explain why it's so good? The dynamic range, iso sensitivity and detail are not better then s3's sony sensor so tell me?

There is no need for increase of sensor size, just increase of sensor resolution/sensitiity (more pixel per inch). 4MP is excelent for screen viewing of not zoomable photos, not sure for photo printing. I like zooming a photo of the ground and seing details of the body of an ant standing there. :)

HTC is back with a tough sexy metal phone that's gonna break your cheap-ass plastic phone in half.
usually HTC Flagship phone have the lastest and greatest technology have to offer, in every corner.... this is lack of some of that. it doesn't have the latest processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or Nvidia Tegra 4) latest screen technology (Gorilla Glass 3) and even in the Camera departement(yes the Zoe camera take Amazing photo, but at 4 MP you won't be able to crop or zoom-in like you could in a 8MP or even 13/12 MP) (BTW Nokia have manage to put 9.8 MP «Ultrapixel» in their Lumia 920).
IF you look around at reviewers you'll see that you get almost identical battery life on both phones. SD slot may in theory sound great however the SD can only store media. Apps have to go onto internal storage which is in most cases taken up by shitty touchwiz bloatware.
