I love how at the end he says..."the speakers aren't necessarily loud.." & 3 sec. later you can barely hear the rest of his review cause the sound is just sooo...LOUD!!!! lol... Great review though, I'm getting this phone!
LOL, it's hard to communicate audio quality I suppose. I guess what I wanted to say is that although we have these large grilles and speakers, they aren't neccessarily louder than other phones with a mono-speaker. They just sound SOOO much better.
Oh by this point I agree.. I have since gotten a Galaxy s5 been using it for half a yr. Very happy w/it. At the time I had posted this comment though, I was considering that phone..happy w/my choice though. Great Camera on it!

This phone looks absolutely gorgeous.
This is a really good review, as always. But just for clarification, the HTC One has since been updated and a few things have changed, at least for mine on Verizon. The UI has been updated to Sense 6.0 and it is now running Android 4.4.2.
The reason I mention this is that some of the information in the review is now inaccurate. Namely, you can now turn off the Blinkfeed and you can use a two-finger pull down on the notification bar to quickly access your quick setting toggles.
Great review, I just wanted to make sure viewers were aware that the phone has changed since this review.

Before I got my S4, I was strongly behind the HTC One X, and then the One once it was released. But accessibility, battery duration and memory are important aspects for me, so the S4 won over. I love the One's build and its Beats Audio, but that remains it. I'm not a fan of its Sense UI nor am I a fan of Touchwiz, but TouchWiz looks organized. Even if the display is smaller than the S4, it looks too cluttered, and the Sense UI gradients and app icons look old for a phone of its age.
But that being said, I love the HTC One and the S4, equally, but differently.

I have this phone now. I guess they added more colors cuz mine is red and I saw another HTC One that was a blue color I wanted to get the blue one but the store I went to only had red and silver but it really is a cool phone im satisfied with it
I'm thinking of getting one of these. I currently have an iPhone 4.
I was stuck on getting the iPhone 4 or 5 cuz it's what I was eligible for but I got this phone cuz its top phone I wanted anyway. It has a lot of features and is an expensive phone cuz I had to put a lot down for it but it's also a popular phone too so so far I say it's worth it cuz I'm still happy with my purchase, I'm not upset about wasting over $100 believe me I would lol. In my opinion I would consider getting it, I say test it out with the displays they have first before you think about getting one cuz everyone's opinion is different. What are ultra pixels? Is it the equivalent of a MP?
Ultra pixel is three times bigger then a pixel
it's a brand name of HTC, it's a 4 megapixel camera but because of this the phone can take in more light so picture's in the dark will be of better quality

MP is the resolution of the image, ultra pixels is just a marketing term for having larger pixels which just translates to more light is able to get through the sensor so you get better images in low-light situations
Megapixles are more for sharpness and zoom

I got this recommend, and wow, this is a very detailed review. I learned about htc in this year, and feel kind of sad they don't make phones anymore. They seemed to be really good.

Been looking to upgrade my Verizon phone and I am glad to find your RUclips channel as you have review on most of the Smartphones offered on the Verizon website. You have been super helpful and informative as there are things that would be seen as small details to most but are a huge deal to me IE SD expansion slots. As I need them for work to quickly turn in photos and projects by just leaving an SD card on a Desk. Thanks for the reviews and Keep it up!!!

I really want this phone. My HTC Desire 500 ran amazingly for some time but has now slowed down considerably. I know for a fact that this phone is a lot better than my phone, so I'm hoping to get this one soon!
